Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 37: A Wild Junior Sister Appears
Damian finally returned to his residence with Vulkara walking behind him, and the moment they arrived, Vulkara looked at the place in surprise.
Although the residence wasn’t some massive noble mansion, it was still far better than what she had expected.
Vulkara crossed her arms and glanced at Damian. "Tch. You actually live in a decent place."
Damian turned his head and grinned. "What? Did you think I lived in a cave?"
Vulkara snorted. "With that mouth of yours, I thought you lived under a rock."
Damian’s mouth twitched slightly. "Wow. You’re getting comfortable pretty quickly, huh?"
Vulkara looked away. "You’re the one who kept annoying me first."
Damian only chuckled and pushed the gate open.
The moment he entered the courtyard, he immediately noticed Violetta under the tree in the garden, cultivating like usual.
Vulkara also saw Violetta, and the moment she saw her, her expression changed slightly because Violetta was truly beautiful.
She could even be considered one of the top beauties compared to the women in Great Flame Sect.
Violetta’s beauty was elegant, mature, and soft, but at the same time, there was a faint seductive charm that naturally came from her past as a courtesan.
Vulkara narrowed her eyes slightly. "So this is his first disciple?"
For some reason, Vulkara immediately felt annoyed because compared to Violetta’s beautiful and refined appearance, she felt like a half-dead stray dog right now.
Her clothes were still damaged, her hair was messy, and her body was stained with blood, making her look like she had just crawled out of hell.
Meanwhile, Violetta looked like someone who belonged in a painting, and because of this, Vulkara clicked her tongue quietly. "Annoying."
At that moment, Violetta slowly opened her eyes, and the moment she saw Damian, she smiled. "Master, you’ve returned."
Then her gaze moved toward Vulkara, who stood beside him, and for a moment, she fell silent.
She could immediately tell that this girl was injured and had clearly gone through a dangerous situation, just like her before. But she really didn’t care too much about that.
Violetta slowly stood up and walked toward them, pointing directly at Vulkara. "Master, who is she?"
Damian smiled casually and pointed at Vulkara. "This is Vulkara. I picked her up from the Black Mist Forest."
Vulkara’s eyebrow twitched. "Picked me up? Do I look like some random thing you found on the road?"
Damian looked at her. "Honestly? A little."
Vulkara’s fists clenched. "You bastard."
Violetta stared at the two of them for a moment before her expression became slightly strange.
The way they spoke didn’t seem like strangers at all, but it also didn’t seem friendly.
It was more like Damian had somehow brought back a wild beast that could talk.
Damian then waved his hand and continued, "Anyway, from today onward, she’s my second disciple."
The moment those words came out, Violetta’s eyes shifted slightly as she looked at Vulkara again, more carefully this time. "You... Master’s second disciple?"
Vulkara crossed her arms and looked back at Violetta. "Looks like it. You got a problem?"
Violetta smiled gently. "No, I don’t. I am just telling you that from now on, I am your senior sister."
Vulkara stared at her beautiful face and felt even more annoyed for no reason.
She clicked her tongue and looked away. "Senior sister, huh? You’re way too calm about this."
Violetta smiled softly. "Why wouldn’t I be calm?"
Vulkara glanced at Damian, then back at Violetta. "Because your master just suddenly brought back another woman from outside."
Violetta’s expression did not change much. Instead, she looked at Damian for a moment before smiling. "Master has already told me he might accept another disciple."
Damian nodded proudly. "See? I ask permission properly."
Vulkara gave him a look of disbelief. "You? Properly? Somehow, I don’t believe that."
Damian pointed at her. "Careful. You’re still new here."
Vulkara snorted. "What, are you going to throw me back into the forest?"
Damian smiled. "Don’t tempt me."
Violetta watched them go back and forth, and for some reason, she suddenly felt that this new junior sister might be very troublesome.
But at the same time, she could also see that Vulkara was not truly hostile.
She was defensive, wounded, and proud, like someone who had been forced to bite back at the world because no one had ever protected her.
That made Violetta’s gaze soften slightly. After all, she also knew what it felt like to be abandoned and cornered by everyone.
Damian then stretched his arms and let out a tired sigh. "Alright, I’m tired as hell. I fought, saved someone, walked back, and listened to this red-haired rat complain the whole way."
Vulkara instantly glared at him. "Who are you calling a rat?"
Damian ignored her and looked at Violetta. "Violetta, help her settle down for now. Give her a room, maybe some clean clothes, and explain the basics of this place."
Violetta bowed lightly. "Yes, Master."
Vulkara frowned. "Hey, don’t decide everything by yourself."
Damian looked at her with a deadpan expression. "Do you want to sleep outside?"
Vulkara immediately went silent.
Damian grinned. "Good. Then behave."
After saying that, he turned around and walked toward his room. "Both of you talk for a while. I need to rest."
Violetta watched Damian leave, then turned back toward Vulkara.
For several seconds, the two women simply looked at each other in silence.
Vulkara crossed her arms and frowned first. "What?"
Violetta smiled gently. "Nothing. I was just looking at my new junior sister."
Vulkara’s mouth twitched. "Don’t call me that so naturally."
Violetta continued smiling, not caring about her attitude. "But you are Master’s second disciple, aren’t you?"
Vulkara clicked her tongue. "Only because I don’t have anywhere else to go."
Violetta’s smile remained gentle, but her eyes seemed to see through more than Vulkara expected. "I see. So Master saved you too."
Vulkara froze slightly. "Too?"
Violetta nodded. "Yes. Master saved me as well."
Vulkara looked at her again, and this time, her gaze became more serious.
She had thought Violetta was just some pampered beauty who had been kept safely inside this residence, but from the way Violetta spoke, that didn’t seem to be the case.
Violetta slowly gestured toward the garden table. "Sit down. You are still injured."
Vulkara hesitated for a moment before sitting down across from her.
Violetta poured tea for her calmly.
Vulkara looked at the tea, then at Violetta. "You’re not going to ask what happened?"
Violetta placed the cup in front of her. "You can tell me when you want to."
Vulkara frowned slightly.
This kind of gentle attitude somehow made her feel even more uncomfortable than Damian’s annoying mouth.
