Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!
Chapter 200 -: 199 Peaceful times.
As Uriel was busy doing his own work far away, at the very same time, on the continent of Auranel, the Hayes Estate was enjoying a completely different kind of battle.
A peaceful one.
The sea breeze drifted through the estate slowly, carrying that familiar salty smell from the ocean.
The air felt warm, but not enough to make anyone uncomfortable. Instead, it felt lazy and relaxing.
The kind of weather that made people want to lie down and forget responsibilities existed.
The huge garden behind the estate looked less like a noble garden and more like an oversized field someone occasionally remembered to cut.
Most of the flowers only existed near the edges while the middle remained wide and open like a training ground.
Today, however, the empty lawn had become the battlefield of heroes and villains.
Near the center of the field, little Rosel, currently calling herself the mighty God of Thunder, Thoratos, was charging forward with all the courage her tiny body could contain.
She wore a toy helmet that kept slipping sideways over one eye and held a small silver hammer in her hand.
"Heheheh! DIE, EVIL CREATURE!" Rosel shouted at the top of her lungs while running with tiny stomping steps.
Not far away, Nathaniel stood dramatically with a black blanket tied around his shoulders like a villain cape.
"Hahahahaha!" he laughed in the most fake evil voice imaginable. "You fools cannot stop me! I am GANOS! Destroyer of worlds!"
He even spread his arms wide toward the sky as if expecting thunder to strike behind him dramatically.
Unfortunately, nothing happened. A bird flew past instead.
Rosel pointed her hammer at him with righteous fury. "No you won’t, you evil fiend!"
Then with all her strength, she threw the hammer forward.
The tiny hammer spun through the air beautifully for exactly one second before smacking Nathaniel directly in the chest.
"AGH—!"
Nathaniel immediately staggered backward like he had been struck by divine punishment itself.
"How... how can your power be this great...?" he muttered dramatically before collapsing onto the grass. "Impossible... Ganos... has been defeated..."
Then after a pause, he slightly lifted his head. "I’ll return in Revengers Part Five..."
Rosel gasped loudly. "NO! STAY DEAD!"
Meanwhile, beneath the shade of a round banyan tree nearby, Elizabeth and Rosalina quietly watched the entire scene unfold.
The tree was not very tall, but its hanging roots and wide branches formed a cool little space underneath, almost like a natural hut protecting them from the sunlight.
The two women sat comfortably on a large picnic blanket while the sea breeze brushed against their loose summer clothes gently.
Both of them looked completely relaxed.
Both of them also wore large sunglasses.
And both of them looked far too cool for two women casually drinking juice under a tree.
"Heh... they’re really getting into it," Rosalina said softly while pouring drinks into two glasses.
Elizabeth accepted hers with a smile before leaning back against the tree trunk comfortably.
"It seems that way," she replied before taking a slow sip.
A few seconds passed peacefully while Rosel could be heard in the distance yelling something about "ultimate thunder punishment."
Then Elizabeth suddenly tilted her head slightly. "By the way," she asked casually, "where’s Julius? Wasn’t he here a moment ago?"
Rosalina calmly took a sip from her drink.
The moment the warm bitter liquid entered her mouth, however, the corner of her eye twitched slightly.
It tasted horrible.....absolutely horrible.
But her face remained perfectly calm somehow.
"He’s doing something important," she answered while forcing herself to swallow. "Something about sending items to Uriel or whatever."
Elizabeth slowly nodded. "I see..."
For a moment, the two women simply relaxed under the tree again while the sound of Rosel screaming "LIGHTNING SMASH!" echoed somewhere in the background.
Then Elizabeth suddenly spoke again. "By the way... aren’t you two getting married?" 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"Well..." Rosalina calmly crossed one leg over the other. "We already are, aren’t we?"
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow slightly above her sunglasses.
Rosalina continued speaking with complete shameless confidence.
"We already live together, we have Rosel, and honestly if you want another grandchild, I can arrange it immediately."
Elizabeth slowly turned toward her.
Rosalina casually took another sip from her terrible drink like she had not just dropped the most cool sentence possible.
Then Elizabeth suddenly smirked. "You know something?" she said lazily. "You really are similar to me."
"Hm?"
"I honestly never thought my baby boy would bring someone like you home." Elizabeth laughed softly. "But now that it happened... it’s actually hilarious."
Rosalina smirked right back. "Well, naturally." She brushed some hair behind her ear proudly. "Only someone as cool as you could give birth to someone worthy of becoming my Julius."
Elizabeth clicked her tongue in amusement. "Not a bad answer."
"I know."
Then Rosalina suddenly raised her fist toward her.
Elizabeth looked at it for one second before grinning and bumping her own fist against it.
"That’s why we’re great."
"Mother and daughter."
The two of them spoke at the exact same time. And right at that moment... "What exactly are you two talking about?"
Julius’s curious voice echoed, and with it the duo turned toward the source of the voice.
Standing there was a handsome young man with short golden hair falling lightly over his forehead, a pair of metallic golden eyes, and a sharp mature face.
Unlike his usual formal clothes, he was wearing simple shorts and a loose t-shirt as the sea breeze moved his hair lightly.
Julius slowly walked over before comfortably sitting down beside Rosalina, leaning against the banyan tree with a relaxed expression.
"We were just discussing nonsense," Elizabeth replied with a sheepish grin. "Want to know?"
Julius immediately understood she had no intention of telling him, so he wisely chose not to ask further.
Instead, he leaned back comfortably and looked toward the grandfather-granddaughter duo playing around on the lawn.
At this moment, Rosel was still chasing Nathaniel around while screaming about divine punishment, while Nathaniel acted like a defeated villain trying to survive the final battle.
"By the way," Julius suddenly spoke, "Aunt contacted me a few minutes ago."
The moment he mentioned "aunt," there was an immediate reaction from Nathaniel.
His body visibly stiffened. Julius noticed it immediately and smirked lightly.
"She said she would arrive right about..."
He slowly looked up toward the sky.
"...Now."
CRACK.
A space rift suddenly tore open above the estate.
