Her gaze then moved toward Elizabeth and Rosalina sitting beneath the tree.

She paused slightly at Rosalina.

Kathlyin had not seen her after her sudden growth, so for a moment she genuinely struggled to recognize who this beautiful grown woman beside her sister even was.

Still, she did not think much about it. Then....Her eyes shifted toward Julius.

And she froze completely....

"...What?" Instead of the slim teenage boy she remembered...

There was now a fully grown young man sitting beneath the tree with broad shoulders, mature features, and calm golden eyes.

Kathlyin blinked once...Then twice. "...What the hell?"

Her face looked genuinely betrayed. "How did you grow this much?!" she demanded in complete disbelief.

Before anyone could even answer

Then instantly appeared directly in front of Julius.

"Hey!" she shouted while grabbing both his shoulders tightly. "What happened to you?!"

Julius almost got shaken like a criminal being interrogated. Kathlyin immediately grabbed his cheeks next.

"Where is the cuteness?!" she demanded with visible horror. "I just saw you a year ago! What happened in one year?!"

She inspected his face seriously from every angle possible like a mother discovering someone secretly replaced her child with an older version.

"Why do you suddenly look handsome?!" she asked accusingly.

"...Is that a bad thing?" Julius asked carefully.

"Yes!"

"No!"

Kathlyin froze before turning toward Elizabeth.

"Oi." Kathlyin suddenly turned toward Elizabeth with a frown.

"Why haven’t you tried treating him?" she demanded while pointing at Julius like a deeply offended mother.

"Aren’t there some good time-path experts here? Surely someone can turn him back!"

Elizabeth lazily took another sip from her drink before shrugging. "It’s no use."

Kathlyin narrowed her eyes.

Elizabeth continued calmly, "He used some forbidden formula while creating that spell. The effect happened instantly the moment it activated."

Then she pointed toward Rosalina beside her.

"The spell used their lifespan as time-path runes," she explained with a sigh. "Once that kind of exchange is completed, it becomes unchangeable."

Silence followed....Kathlyin slowly turned her gaze back toward Julius.

Her expression tightened slightly. To others, she looked annoyed.

But inside? She was furious.

This was her boy. Well... technically not her son. But also absolutely her son.

She had spoiled him since the day he was born, carried him around when he was small, fought over who got to hug him first, and proudly watched him grow up.

And now? Now someone had stolen his entire cute phase in one attack.

Kathlyin gritted her teeth hard enough that even Nathaniel slowly moved farther away from her.

And stayed there.

Rosalina calmly stared right back at her while adjusting her sunglasses slightly.

The sea breeze moved her absurdly long hair across the grass behind her like a giant dark carpet spreading over the lawn.

Kathlyin silently observed her for a few seconds.

Then finally...."So you’re the one who made my boy fall head over heels for you, huh?"

Rosalina crossed one leg over the other calmly. "Probably," she replied without shame.

Kathlyin narrowed her eyes slightly while continuing to examine her carefully.

In truth...It was not hard to understand at all. Rosalina’s mature appearance alone was already enough to attract attention anywhere she went.

Then there was the hair. That ridiculous oversized hair. Seriously, why was it so long?

It looked less like hair and more like a luxury blanket made by rich people with too much free time.
