The corpses of demons and humans alike that were scattered lifelessly across the ruined battlefield began to sink into the shadow as if the earth itself had opened to consume them.

The lifeless and severed bodies of demons, humans, and even creatures of other races vanished without a sound. Even their blood, bones, and lingering essence were swallowed by the darkness that was an extension of Emrys’s skill: ⧼Silent Devourer of All Paths⧽.

The very instant the devouring process began, a violent surge of energy exploded within Emrys’s body. It was like a dam had been broken. The energy rushed into him with explosive momentum, coursing through his meridians like a thousand rivers flooding through a single valley. His veins bulged, glowing faintly with golden and black light as the power from hundreds... no, thousands of corpses poured into him all at once.

This energy didn’t stay idle. It was like a flood seeking its destination, it moved straight into his Cosmic Essence Core, which is the very foundation of his Cosmic Cultivation Path. The core vibrated violently for a moment before exploding with a surge of incredibly pure energy that immediately started tempering Emrys’s blood, bones, and flesh.

Just like that, his strength started increasing and in less than ten minutes, Emrys advanced Beginner Supreme Starlight Master.

However, it did not stop there. His cultivation continued to increase and in less than an hour, Emrys broke through again and again, reaching the Advanced level of Supreme Starlight Master.

Now, all he needed was to reach the peak of the advanced level, and he could try becoming a King in his Cosmic Cultivation Path.

It was also at this time that Emrys finally sensed a little change that suddenly occurred in the intricate patterns. These patterns had remained the same from the moment the Cosmic Essence Core was formed inside his body.

He stared at the sky of this inner world, which, just like the surface of the bead itself, was filled with countless intricate patterns. They were so complex and ancient that looking at them for too long could make someone dizzy.
