Moreover, there was also addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of those patterns.

Even the slightest movement presented a whole new discovery. Emrys found that he could actually discern how to proceed on the path of Cosmic Cultivation just by observing the movements of those patterns.

Each pattern was different and seemed to hold a critical piece of information that acted differently in different situations. Moreover, some of those patterns looked like they were trying to communicate with each other, but failed perhaps due to the limitations of the Cosmic Essence Core.

Emrys could not understand everything fully immediately. He also needed time to understand them even in a state of enlightenment. It can be said that Emrys was trying to slowly grasp the meaning behind those patterns just like an artist trying to understand a masterpiece just by looking at its brushstrokes, and his Timeless Enlightenment allowed him to do that.

He didn’t need words. Bit by bit, insight flowed into him like rainwater slowly filling a dried pond. He saw that these patterns were not just part of the Cosmic Essence Core, they seemed to be part of something greater, something that connected to the essence of cosmic cultivation itself.

If he could understand this, he would be able to break through and become a King-level powerhouse in the Cosmic Cultivation System.

It has to be said that the comprehensive power of Timeless Enlightenment is terrifying. Very soon, Emrys was able to understand a part that was the foundation, the root, the law that made the Cosmic Path beyond Supreme Starlight Master possible.

The more he observed, the more Emrys felt his understanding of those intricated patterns deepens. At the same time, he felt as if a door was slowly opening in front of him. As long as he can open this door completely, he would have already taken the next step.

At this moment, the sky darkened all of a sudden as thick and heavy clouds rolled in from all directions, as if summoned by an ancient power.

Then, a low rumble of thunder rolled across the battlefield, followed by flashes of lightning that crisscrossed the dark sky like silver veins.

Immediately afterward, a projection of a giant tree began to slowly materialize in the air quietly and without any violent disturbance.

This tree’s trunk appeared to be enormous, and its roots seemed to extend deep into the void. Its branches seem to stretch out indefinitely across the sky, spreading like the arms of eternity itself. Its leaves were shimmering faintly, glowing with a light that was neither warm nor cold.

Even though it was just a projection, its presence was undeniable.

Most importantly, this projection was visible to every creature present on the battlefield.

Immediately, a strange silence spread over the battlefield. The sound of clashing weapons and howls of beasts came to an abrupt halt. Every creature, whether human, demon, mechanical or otherwise, raised their eyes and looked at the sky.

They stared at the projection of the tree in silence.

Strangely, the longer they looked at the tree’s projection, the more distant they felt from the world around them. Their minds slowly emptied even before they realized it, and they soon fell into a strange state.

One after another, they began to subconsciously circulate their cultivation techniques. Whether they were injured, dying, or already exhausted, they began cultivating without even knowing why. Some of them also gained insights into things such as battle skills, techniques, killing moves, and more. A few even started to comprehend the Laws of Eternity.

A mysterious wave of enlightenment descended silently, and the entire battlefield became still. Not a single soul moved to fight anymore.

While the others were merely affected by the projection, Emrys was at the center of it. He was the source. The projection of the giant tree was merely the reflection of the Timeless Enlightenment Tree that existed somewhere within Emrys’s soul.

Currently, Emrys’s attention wasn’t on the sky or the world around him. He remained deep in comprehension, watching the shifting patterns within the Cosmic Essence Core. He did not see the projection above, nor did he feel the stillness outside. He didn’t even know what was happening on the battlefield, or that the battlefield was deeply affected by him.

Everything around him, including the battlefield and the great phenomenon, was like a gentle breeze. It was capable of brushing against him, but far too weak to influence him in any meaningful way.

In his world now, there were only mysterious patterns that were filled with boundless insights and powers.

As Emrys watched these ever-shifting patterns within the Cosmic Essence Core, a sudden clarity struck him like lightning flashing across a night sky. He suddenly comprehended a profound truth.

Cosmic Essence Core is a seed.

It is meant to evolve.

Evolve into what?

A tree?

No.

Then what?

A World.

Yes!

Countless insights poured into Emrys’s mind as he immediately understood everything that was previously unclear to him.

The Cosmic Essence Core was already like a world, but it was far from being comparable to a true world.

But at this instant, Emrys comprehended the way to transform the Cosmic Essence Core into the Cosmic Essence World, which will be a boundless inner universe that could grow, create, and contain endless laws, energies, and dimensions.

This realization came with a wave of enlightenment so vast that Emrys’s consciousness expanded beyond anything he had ever known. At the same time, as if responding to the birth of this idea, the Timeless Enlightenment Tree within his soul resonated.

Suddenly, nine profound lights descended upon his spiritual perception. These nine lights appeared to hide the truth and essence of the Eternity itself.

They were the Nine Absolute Laws of Eternity, and Emrys started to comprehend them subconsciously.
