Walker Of The Blue Sky
Chapter 384: Ch : Transcending Spiritarium, Entering Eternity
The wind howled gently across the high hill, nestled atop a towering mountain that pierced through the clouds like a sword aimed at the heavens. The air here was thin, pure, and carried a strange stillness.
White mist rolled around the mountaintop, parting every now and then due to the soft blow of wind to reveal glimpses of the endless sky and the distant horizon, where stars faintly shimmered even in daylight. The silence was broken only by the occasional rustle of loose stones and the low hum of wind brushing past the jagged cliffs.
Amidst all this, Emrys sat calmly on a large boulder while observing the faint glow from what he held in his hand.
It was a rough gemstone, no larger than a child’s fist. The gemstone’s surface was uneven, but filled with natural ridges and patterns, but what made it truly strange was the constant shift of colors. The colors were shifting between silver and blue, flowing like liquid across the stone’s surface.
Emrys stared at the gem silently.
"How does this ’Key’ work?"
Emrys had been observing this key for more than two hours now. He attempted to activate it several times but failed. He didn’t know what to do with this key, or how to use it for witnessing an "Extreme".
In the end, he sighed and threw the key inside his Dimensional Space. Then he slowly stood up, looked around for a while, and let out a deep sigh before muttering: "It’s time to leave Spiritarium and officially enter the Vast Expanse of Eternity."
He had stayed in Spiritarium long enough. Now, he was ready to leave this place and step into the Vast Expanse of Eternity.
But Spiritarium was not a place anyone could leave easily. It was a Cosmic Field, protected by something called the Nine Layers of Cosmic Membrane. These membranes were like invisible walls surrounding the entire Spiritarium. Each wall was made from all 108 Rules of Spiritarium, and these rules would never allow anyone to escape.
For the creatures of Spiritarium, breaking through these walls was impossible. The rules would stop them no matter how strong they became.
But Emrys was different.
He was already a Ninth Level King, a being far above the limit of Spiritarium. On top of that, he held the authority over the Nine Absolute Rules of Eternity, the rules that gave birth to all Cosmic Fields. Although Spiritarium was an artificial Cosmic Field, it was still created using these rules. After all, all 108 Rules of Cosmic Fields originate from these Nine Absolute Rules.
So, Emrys didn’t find it difficult to transcend the Spiritarium and enter the Eternity. For him, these walls were not barriers, they were just thin layers of energy that could be dissipated with a wave of his hand.
Emrys could now easily see the Cosmic Membranes now. He disappeared and reappeared right in front of the first Cosmic Membrane.
The first cosmic membrane looked like a curtain of light that was barely moving yet holding great power.
Emrys raised his hand and touched the membrane. At the same time, he used his authority over the Nine Absolute Rules of Eternity.
The moment he used his authority over the Absolute Rules, a small hole opened in the membrane at the place where he touched it. The hole grew just big enough for him to walk through. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
He stepped inside and walked for long before coming in front of the second Cosmic Membrane. He followed the same process to pass the second then third, and so on.
One by one, Emrys passed through all nine Cosmic Membranes.
Each layer opened for him without resistance, as if the Spiritarium itself had accepted that he no longer belonged there.
Finally, after crossing the ninth membrane, everything around him changed.
The place where he appeared now had no sky, no land, no stars. If anything, then there was only a vast and endless void of darkness.
This was the Void of Eternity.
And by entering it, Emrys had now officially left the Spiritarium and stepped into the Vast Expanse of Eternity.
WHOOM!
Suddenly, an ocean of energy surged toward him from all sides.
Emrys was stunned for a moment before curiously sensing this energy. He could immediately tell that this energy was not normal, for it carried some sort of chaos, wildness, and stillness. It came like a flood, crashing forward like waves, wanting to invade his body, tear him apart, and reshape him by force.
However, before the wild energy could even touch him, Emrys’s body erupted with a powerful force.
The power that erupted from Emrys’s body was a deep, dark, and terrifying devouring power.
Emrys himself was stunned when he felt this devouring power.
It was not him. His body erupted with this power on its own. But then, when he investigated a little, he found that this power didn’t belong to him but to the Soulforge Prism Orb.
The wild energy halted for a brief moment, as if stunned. Then, in the next instant, all the wild energy rushing toward him was sucked in. It was as if Emrys had become a black hole. The energy didn’t explode. It vanished immediately.
Silver light flowed across his skin like rivers. His hair danced in the dark space. His body stood firm in the center of the Void, like an unshakable mountain.
The devouring power continued to work silently, absorbing the wild energy, and after an unknown, Emrys finally opened his eyes as the ocean of energy rushing at him was all devoured.
Before he could understand what happened, he noticed strange motes of light appearing in the distance. Each one of them was blinking slowly like faraway stars. But these weren’t stars. Emrys could tell that each light was something like a gateway or a domain.
He could also tell that the appearance of these motes of light was definitely related to the Soulforge Prison Orb, for at that moment, he felt the orb connecting with something unknown to the void of eternity.
As Emrys observed the motes of light, he noticed one light shining brighter than the rest.
