At the beginning, no matter how hard he fought, he was unable to cause any harm to those Reality Masters. Instead, he was injured badly, and even a few Vast Expanses of Eternity were destroyed.

The Reality Masters kept changing the Eternities as they fought while bending the rules and altering their properties as well. Gravity flipped, and at one moment, light became sound. The pain Emrys was dealt with turned into confusion. Emrys bit his tongue just to stay conscious. He used his own power to stabilize a small area around him. Inside that area, normal laws still worked.

The female Reality Master created a new feeling, a false sense of guilt. Emrys suddenly felt like he had done something terrible. His heart weakened, and his energy dropped to zero. But he realized it was not real very soon and forced the emotion out and burned it with his powerful Soul Force.

The male Reality Master, on the other hand, wanted to pull a version of Emrys from another parallel reality; however, he frowned. He realized that for some unknown reason, Emrys didn’t have another version. In all parallel realities, he doesn’t exist. Instead, he should have died at a very young age in every reality. The person fighting them was just a very unique existence that had long since escaped the control of fate and destiny, thus escaping an early death. And now, he was standing there, fighting against them on equal footing.

The battle went on for years.

Emrys kept getting hurt, but he never stopped. He kept standing up again and again, and faced those Realty Masters.

Finally, something seemed to have changed inside him, and a cracking sound resounded throughout the Inked Tale Omniverse.

In fact, Emrys had always been watching these two Reality Masters and learning from them. They didn’t kill him immediately, not because they wanted to play with Emrys a few rounds. Instead, it’s because they simply could not kill him.

Why?

While he was cultivating in secluded cultivation, he had separated a part of himself and retrieved a pearl filled with terrifying vitality. He retrieved this pearl from the fragmented Cosmic World.

Years ago, when he wanted to investigate a secretive cave filled with unfathomable life force, he almost turned into nourishment for grasses and trees. Mosses grew all over his body. Fortunately, he had not entered too deep inside that place and managed to escape with his life.

Now that he was already at the peak of all cultivation paths, he didn’t hesitate to investigate the source of that terrifying life force, and the source turned out to be a small green pearl.

Emrys was already a very powerful being, and he immediately started investigating where this pearl came from. He followed traces and went back in time, only to realize that the green pearl was not an object of Inked Tale Omniverse to begin with.

Back then, when the entities of the Second Reality were angered by Sage’s actions, they almost tore open the skies of the entire Eternity. As a giant hand descended to wipe everything out, Emrys noticed two lights flashing: one silver and one green.

At first, the silver light bypassed the hand, entered the Second Reality, and then returned with the green light. Immediately after that, an unknown force took action and saved the seeds of several races, created the Spiritarium, and carried out many other secretive tasks.

Later, after a deeper investigation, Emrys was shocked to learn that the silver light was actually Ling Xiaolong, who had secretly entered the Second Reality and retrieved the Green Pearl before hiding it inside the fragmented Cosmic World.

It had all been part of Ling Xiaolong’s plan. It was his careful setup from the very beginning. Perhaps, Ling Xiaolong had already foreseen that Emrys would one day need this boundless life force.

In fact, while Emrys was investigating, he even seemed to sense that Ling Xiaolong had seen him. But for some reason, Ling Xiaolong didn’t bother to meet Emrys or tell him anything.

Emrys could only guess that Ling Xiaolong was just trying to hide his presence from those very powerful entities of the Second Reality.

Realizing that this green pearl was meant for him from the very beginning, Emrys didn’t hesitate to swallow the pearl and merge with boundless lifeforce. At the same time, he gained countless new insights about life and vitality and created millions of powerful skills.

It was all because of this never-ending vitality that he didn’t die even after facing two Reality Masters simultaneously for years.

But, unlike him, Inked Tale Omniverse suffered greatly. Thousands of Eternities were already destroyed.

During their battle, Emrys had already separated a part of his mind to stay in the state of enlightenment, learn, and understand from the battle against two Reality Masters. He learned from them and used their "teachings" to face them.

One day, his authority suddenly rose from Level 8 to Level 9, and boundless insight poured into his mind. At the same time, his body began to change. His soul stretched into the fabric of space. His thoughts connected to the principles that shaped time, space, matter, and logic. His energy flowed backward and forward at the same time. He did not move, but he appeared in multiple places.

He started breaking through.

This dumbfounded the two Reality Masters. They never expected Emrys to start breaking through while battling them.

Without hesitation, they immediately acted, trying to kill Emrys before he could complete his ultimate transformation.

However, they had underestimated Emrys from the very beginning. As they took one step forward, the void collapsed, and all the Rules vanished completely. Even reality itself seemed to have started disintegrating into nothingness.

Light poured in from all directions, transforming into chains of Eternal Dao, binding the two Reality Masters, supporting in stopping them for one more moment.

That one moment seemed to stretch and become eternity.

Attack Nullification, Energy Drain, Light Manipulation, Death Impact, Synthesis, Disintegration, Primordial Echo, Ecliptic Seal, Primordial Descent, Omni Reflection, Omni Mind, Omni Chrono Reversal, Omni Erasure, Omni Presence, and many more abilities were used by Emrys in that one single moment that seemed to have become eternity.
