The two figures were dressed in golden robes engraved with dragon-shaped patterns, exuding an aura of unfathomable majesty and dominance. One was a male who appeared to be around twenty years old, and the other, a female of similar age. Despite their youthful appearance, the pressure they radiated was enough to shake the very foundation of the omniverse.

Their auras were restrained, appearing to be cloaked in countless layers of barriers, but for a mere fraction of a second, a sliver of their true presence leaked into the omniverse. And that was enough to stir a tsunami in Eternal Dao, sending waves across countless Eternities. An unknown number of Cosmic Fields shattered and sealed forgotten lands emerged. All Immortal Kings of Eternities who had long hidden themselves to cultivate in seclusion in order to try breaking the last barrier awakened in terror as they sensed a presence beyond comprehension.

Emrys stood slowly and stretched his hands wide before muttering, "It’s time to get to work."

Emrys disappeared from where he stood. The very next moment, he materialized silently in front of the two beings who had just arrived. His arrival didn’t go unnoticed by two Reality Masters, and in no time, a fierce battle began.

Reality Masters are existences who can alter how others perceive time, space, or events. They can even reverse cause and effect, modify memory of weak-willed targets, create fake outcomes that seem real but fade over time, easily increase or decrease the chance of events occurring unnaturally, imprint a new physical or metaphysical law into a location, merge or connect multiple dimensions in a limited space, remove a fact or event from existence as if it never happened, temporarily flip a universal constant (e.g., fire becomes cold, water having flamable properties, wind behaving like lightning, and more), invent a new idea, emotion, or force and impose it into reality, pull versions of people or objects from nearby parallel realities, and do many more things.

The three of them did not throw punches or pull out weapons to fight. Instead, they altered the rules of vast lands and the void around them to engage in battle.

Time slowed down for Emrys as his body became heavy, and even blinking his eyes took effort. He tried to move, but each step felt like climbing a mountain. This was done by the Reality Masters. They were not affected by this rule manipulation. For them, time was moving normally.

Even with Emrys’s authority over eighteen rules, he found it hard to move. It was mainly due to low strength and authority.

Then the space shifted. Emrys reached out with his hand, but the space stretched between him and his target. What looked like a hundred meters became a thousand meters, then ten thousand meters. His attacks missed their mark because distances were no longer stable.

Next, his memory became confused. The female Reality Master altered his thoughts. He forgot where he was for a moment. He forgot why he was fighting. He even forgot what technique he was trying to use. This created a short opening, and the male Reality Master struck him using a sharp ripple of distorted energy.

Emrys flew back and coughed up blood. But he immediately calmed himself and stabilized the chaotic energy inside his body. At the same time, his bloodline was triggered, and his memory returned.

The Reality Masters tried another trick. They reversed cause and effect. Emrys used a technique, and it hit them. But the moment they were struck, the effect vanished, and the cause — Emrys’s action — also disappeared. It was as if he had never used that skill.

Then they created a fake result. It looked like Emrys had succeeded in trapping them in a formation, but it was only an illusion. It faded after five seconds, and the Reality Masters stood unharmed. They smiled coldly, not with their faces, but with their presence.

Next, the probability was changed. A small attack from the female Reality Master, which had only a 1% chance of success, suddenly became 100%. The strike hit Emrys and tore through part of his shoulder. Emrys noticed the unnatural change. It was not luck. It was controlled manipulation of the omniverse’s outcome.

At one point, the Reality Masters combined two dimensions. The battlefield expanded into a mix of two worlds: one dark and full of floating stones, and one filled with giant trees growing upside down. Emrys had to fight in both at the same time. The male Reality Master attacked from one space, and the female from the other.

Next, the female Reality Master erased a moment. One second of Emrys’s life vanished. In that missing second, he had moved to dodge, but now, he was back where he stood, with no memory of what happened. Her attack pierced his side.
