"Why are they all wearing bunny girl outfits?"

Maylene grinned up at me when I asked before she reached up to start taking off the clothes that she was wearing, revealing she was wearing the same bunny girl outfit underneath where hers was a black leotard that contrasted with her white bunny ears.

"Qing~ Why didn’t you tell us you guys had this phenomenal thing called a bunnygirl outfit?! It feels amazing!"

Err... What? I mean... I’m definitely not complaining about them wearing this since it really looks nice on them given they were already bunny girls to begin with... But what does she mean by the outfit feeling amazing?

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

She spun around to show herself off, "This covers us just right and let us work in it without being too restrictive! It’s so convenient!"

I... Really don’t think that is designed to be convenient... But I guess if the people wearing it think so... Who am I to say anything?

And... I guess I’ll admit it... This is still really good eyecandy...

I guess I wasn’t really subtle enough as Maylene lifted up her pantyhose clad leg to run a hand up her thigh to slip into her exposed cleavage, "Mmmm~ Seems like it’s working as intended, Qing! See? It’s the best, right?"

I averted my gaze, "Whatever makes you girls happy I guess?"

Hmm? Kris seems to be looking at her quite closely as well...

Oh? Could it be... He’s interested in her? I guess at the end of the day, he’s still a guy. And it’s not like he’s that bad of a looker either so I wouldn’t be surprised if these two become a thing.

Well, what they do in their private lives is none of my business anyway so I’ll just watch them from the side.

Maylene then picked up her discarded clothes before gesturing to the room in front of us, "Behold! This is our war room!"

As I thought, this is probably the control room or something to organise for our missions.

She continued, "We’re still working on improving it actually... Most of what we have here is just things that we have found on your internet that are expected to be here. But I think there’s quite a lot of things that we can change so we’ll just have to make the changes as we use it~"

One of the bunny girls came over while holding a stack of papers in her arms, the bunny girl busy scribbling something on them and only just managed to avoid running into us at the last moment. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

It took me a moment to realise it was Inies, the blue haired sister of the group. She was also wearing a bunny girl outfit which was blue in colour and the fact that such a stoic girl was also wearing such a revealing outfit was quite lewd to me.

"Qing. You are here early," She greeted me with a nod. "I thought we were only planning for you to come next week."

Maylene giggled, "Ehehehe~ He already heard that we were done so he came here to check it out!"

"Then I suppose you are guiding him around?"

"That’s right!"

"Mmm... Then there shouldn’t be a problem. Be careful."

Without waiting for a response, the blue haired bunny girl continued walking down the path she had originally intended while scribbling on the paper in her hands.

Maylene turned back to grin at me, "Let’s head to the next location!"

She pulled me by the hand which surprised me a little but I decided to just let her drag me along while I had to jog to keep up with her.

We moved through another corridor where several doors led to what looked like recreation rooms.

There were table tennis tables and even pool tables but I noted that most of the space was still left empty.

"Seems... A little lacking?" I pointed out.

The bunny girl giggled, "Ehehehe~ Everything you see here is made by us. We decided that we will wait to see what kind of games everyone here is interested in before we create them. Otherwise it would just be a waste of space~"

Kris cleared his throat, "Ahem... Don’t suppose you have some kind of... Studio room, perhaps?"

"Oh~ That’s an interesting idea! I’ll add that to the list! Oh and the swimming pool... Umm..."

Ava perked up, "Ara? Is there something wrong with that?"

"Mmm... Well... Your initial suggestion was to have the swimming pool in a centralised area but we decided that it would be better to split into different areas. So there’s different pools for people on the upper floors from the lower floors."

"Ufufufu~ That’s a splendid idea~"

"Right! The next part!"

Maylene happily tugged on my hand to lead me back to the elevators, this time going down to a different floor.

Almost immediately, a distinct sterilised smell wafted to my nose and I could already pretty much guess what this floor was.

"The medical wing?" I asked.

"Ehehe~ That’s right! All of them fitted with everything we know and could dig out from the current technology of this World!"

She led us to a specific room that opened up to show metallic pods that were lined up against the wall.

"Still needs a bit of tweaking since we’re still studying up on the different biologies of different species but everyone who is a Guardian and humans are able to use these right now!"

Kris tilted his head, "How do they work actually?"

"Oh~ They just enhance a person’s natural regeneration to heal their wounds~ Of course these are for the light injuries. We have another pod for the more serious ones! But if you just have a small cut or maybe just a light sprain, you can use these! The best part is, you wouldn’t lose the effects of your exercises if you use these to heal your exercise fatigues!"

That’s actually nice... Though I don’t think I would be using them since I have my Qi to help me with that.

"And right down the corridor on the same floor is one of our R and D departments!"

She was visibly more excited about showing this than the other rooms so far as she half dragged me behind her to reach the mentioned area.

I found myself standing in what looked like a cross between an assembly line and a laboratory as various machines dotted around the room including a large conveyor belt that seemed to run through the centre. Surrounding those machines were tables and holographic displays that looked like they would be used for chemicals.

"All in the same place? Isn’t that a little dangerous?" I pointed out.

Maylene puffed up her chest, her boobs bouncing tantalisingly from the movement, "This is just one of the various R and D labs we have around the building, Qing! These are aimed to specialise in making things that will directly impact the living conditions of the people in this tower! We plan to make an even bigger one that would serve as our main development complex somewhere else on the island! We can even set up an entire production line for both materials and food so this island will be completely self-sufficient!"

Huh... I guess the people who were claiming that we were trying to form an independent nation on this island aren’t too far off the mark...

Well, I can only see pros from this arrangement so I don’t see a reason to stop them.

Maylene then dragged us back into the lift again, "There’s a few other places that I would like to show you but... I would say those places are a little too dangerous to go to right now so we’ll have to leave that for another time~"

I frowned as the lift began to ascend again, "Dangerous? Why would it be dangerous?"

"Ah... Well... We’re still working on a few things... Don’t worry about it! We have it all under control!"

That doesn’t sound reassuring at all...

But before I could ask, the doors opened again and this time, I found myself standing on what appears to be the residential floor of the tower.

The area directly outside the lift was a common area and a few corridors led away from it to house individual rooms which I assume were meant to serve as the personal residences of the Guardians.

Only that it looked like there were way more than just six rooms on this floor... How many people were they expecting to recruit as my Guardians?

Maylene did not stop here and simply led us across the common area to reach another elevator which she gestured proudly towards.

"This is the only lift that can reach your room, Qing! If anyone wants to reach you, they will have to get through everyone here first before they can get to you! The security is also tuned so that only you and who you allow can use it!"

That sounds quite inconvenient for me... But I guess I could always just teleport myself to the room if I have to...

Time to see what they made up there I guess.
