Scarlett Yates was really left a bit incredulous by his childlike behavior.

Snatching food from someone else’s bowl, isn’t this something only kids do?

And he’s a grown man, isn’t he embarrassed?

Just when Scarlett was glaring at him in bewilderment, Matthew Saxon stole another piece of shrimp from his bowl.

He looked like he was thoroughly enjoying it, his expression akin to savoring the world’s most delicious delicacy. While eating, he occasionally licked his lips and squinted his eyes.

Even though they were just having a meal, Scarlett found herself blushing and her heart racing because of his lip-licking action while eating.

Every time Matthew Saxon ate a piece of shrimp, he would turn his head to look at her.

Even though he didn’t say a word, his demeanor, his gaze, and that meaningful smile at the corner of his lips gave Scarlett a strong illusion that Matthew Saxon wasn’t eating shrimp, but rather her!

Scarlett simply couldn’t handle his gaze.

This demon, no wonder he could captivate so many women in the past. She thought her endurance was pretty good, yet one look from him made her heart flutter like a lovestruck girl, always getting flushed and her heart racing.

Scarlett felt there was something wrong with his eyes, probably carrying some sort of magic, making them so alluring.

She really couldn’t stand being stared at with such a meaningful gaze anymore, so she took a spoon, scooped all the shrimp from her bowl, and put them into his bowl: "You like them so much, take them all and enjoy at your own pace."

After giving the last piece of shrimp in the bowl to Matthew Saxon, Scarlett began eating her meal in silence, deciding not to look at Matthew Saxon again until she finished her bowl of porridge.

This porridge is called seafood porridge, and it truly lives up to the name.

The shrimp Scarlett had scooped out piled up in Matthew Saxon’s bowl, forming a pointy "little hill."

Matthew Saxon looked down at the "little hill" in the bowl, a faint smile on his handsome face, softly saying, "Scarlett, you’re really nice to me."

After saying this, he picked up a piece of shrimp and turned his head, gazing at her with deep affection, eyes full of emotion, voice softer, deeper, and more alluring: "Each of these pieces of shrimp carries your love for me, all together they form a mountain of love. By giving me the shrimp, you’re confessing your love, and I will cherish this thoughtful gesture."

"Rest assured, I will eat all the shrimp and take all the love you have for me into my stomach, never letting your sentiment down."

"Cough, cough, cough..."

The porridge she just swallowed ended up choking her.

Scarlett coughed her cheeks red, goosebumps running up her body, falling one layer after another onto the ground.

She felt that if she wasn’t choked to death by that mouthful of porridge, she would certainly die from the nauseating words of Matthew Saxon.

Even eating shrimp, he’s able to flirt with her!!!

Despite constantly telling herself not to look at him, no matter what he said or did, she shouldn’t pay attention to him.

If he realized that no matter what he did, it had no effect on her at all, he wouldn’t tease her anymore.
