She and Matthew Saxon hadn’t even gotten to that stage yet, and somehow she already "had his child"!

Scarlett Yates was furious, she really wanted to shout at the two women that she wasn’t pregnant at all, but after forcing herself to hold back again and again, she could only swallow the anger and keep it locked in her chest.

She tried to clarify, "Um... have you ever considered that maybe these are just made-up rumors? That Scarlett Yates you’re talking about... she might not actually be that kind of person."

Girl A and Girl B had just reached a consensus and were happily trash-talking the woman they hated. At her words, they turned their heads in unison, frowned in unison, and snapped unhappily, "You’re actually speaking up for that shameless woman?"

Their gazes were razor sharp, as if little knives were hidden in their eyes. When they looked at Scarlett Yates, cold light practically flashed.

In order to protect her own reputation, Scarlett went all in and shamelessly lied, "Actually, I’ve also got a distant relative working for the Saxon Family."

Anyway, the Saxon Family had so many employees, there was no way these two would really go investigate which distant relative of hers it was.

Girl A froze for a second, then said in surprise, "You have a relative in the Saxon Family too?"

Scarlett nodded. "What you were just talking about, I know what’s really going on."

The two women’s gossip instincts were instantly hooked. They urged her on, "Then hurry up and tell us."

Scarlett lightly coughed twice, cleared her throat, then lowered her voice and deliberately acted mysterious. "My relative said nothing has ever happened between Scarlett Yates and Matthew Saxon. Even though they’re getting married, Scarlett is a very conservative girl, so they decided to save that kind of thing for their wedding night."

"So all that stuff about pregnancy and whatever is fake. It must be someone jealous making things up out of thin air."

"Scarlett Yates is still a virgin?!"

Girl A’s face was full of disbelief. "Your relative isn’t hiding in their closet peeping; how would he know exactly what goes on in someone else’s bed?"

At this point, Scarlett felt she had no choice but to sacrifice Matthew Saxon a little.

She lowered her voice even more, put a hand to her lips, and shook her head with a sigh. "Because Matthew used to fool around too much, his body’s had a bit of an issue. Uh, as in, his mind is willing but his body just can’t keep up. He’s still undergoing treatment. Tell me, in that situation, what could possibly happen?"

The two women were horrified, their faces full of shock. "Are you serious? Doesn’t that mean he’s all looks and no use?"

Given that she’d soon be Mrs. Saxon, she obviously didn’t want to paint her future husband as completely useless. After thinking for a moment, she added a couple of lines to defend him. "Uh, it’s not that serious, it’s just temporary, and it’s treatable. Once he recovers, he’ll be just as formidable as before."

Girl A got mad, her face darkening as she snapped, "How could Matthew Saxon possibly be unable to do it? I think he’s just not interested in that Scarlett Yates."

Girl B was angry too, grinding her teeth. "Exactly. That woman has no boobs, no butt, and she’s not even pretty. If I were a man, I wouldn’t be interested in touching her either."

"Those things you said must be rumors she spread after getting rejected, out of spite. That woman’s heart is really vicious."

"Exactly, that has to be it. Her heart is too wicked!"

"If I ever run into her, I’ll definitely beat her up. How dare she slander our male god like that!"

"Beat her up is still letting her off easy. I think we should throw acid on her."
