When they left the weapon forging hall, they locked it behind them.

Even though there was that array that would protect it, it wasn’t as if they could just leave it unlocked now that it had been cleared.

It was a good thing that they were able to easily lock it with the token that Lin Fan had.

Only it did feel like a bit of a waste to lock it like this.

"The alchemy hall has a better position than this since it was near the center of the sect."

There was no need to doubt Xiao Mu’s knowledge since it was something that came from the Dao Sect. So that was why they chose to close this weapon forging hall and use the alchemy hall instead.

But it wasn’t as if they were heading back to the alchemy hall yet.

They were supposed to be known as the righteous sects, but they were acting this way.

Both Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan were surprised to see this, but it wasn’t as if they doubted Xiao Mu’s abilities. After all, Ye Qing Huan had already seen how special Xiao Mu’s specs were.

Xiao Mu was a puppet from the special path for core disciples, so its power was beyond what these core disciples from the four righteous sects could match.

After all, they had all been blown away by the normal puppets on the path for inner sect disciples.

If Xiao Mu wasn’t careful, it might even accidentally kill them.

It wasn’t as if that was a problem, it would just be troublesome if they were to disappear this early. After all, there was certainly a reason why they had started acting as bandits all of a sudden.

There should be someone behind them that had convinced them into doing this.

Seeing the way that she looked at him, Lin Fan gave a sigh and came forward.

He didn’t think that Xiao Mu would have a problem taking care of these disciples from the four righteous sects, but it wasn’t as if that was the problem.

What Ye Qing Huan wanted was for him to back Xiao Mu up just in case there was some kind of trouble. It was similar to how a mother would see their child, which was what was worrying Lin Fan.

Still, he had to go along with it if this was what Ye Qing Huan wanted.

Though there really wasn’t much for him to do.

As he had expected, Xiao Mu was able to wipe the floor with the disciples of the four righteous sects. It wasn’t even considered a fight with the way that Xiao Mu ran circles around them.

The disciples of the four righteous sects did what they could to fight against Xiao Mu, but the specs were completely different.

"Where did this monster come from?"

Even though they were supposed to be core disciples of the four righteous sects and were supposed to have a pride that was unmatched, they couldn’t help admitting that they weren’t on the same level as Xiao Mu.

This couldn’t be blamed on them since it really was on a different level.

That was the conclusion that they came to, but it wasn’t as if Xiao Mu would let them get away that easily. Especially when they made a big deal of it by running all together.

Since they were disciples of different sects, it wasn’t as if the coordination between them was that great. The moment that they decided to run, it wasn’t as if this was a coordinated retreat.

What happened was that they all ran off in different directions, hoping that the others would be able to distract Xiao Mu.

However, Xiao Mu had tricks up its sleeves that prevented them from doing this.

Xiao Mu raised its hands and released balls of flames that scattered in every direction.

It was a good thing that the cloak that it was wearing had long sleeves that hid its hands, so it looked like these fireballs were just coming out of the sleeves. Or else the disciples of the four righteous sects would have freaked out over the fact that Xiao Mu’s hands could open up.

The fireballs that Xiao Mu used were flames created by the Heaven and Earth Flame that it absorbed, so these were anything but normal fireballs.

The disciples of the four righteous sects did what they could to defend against these fireballs, but it really didn’t seem like there was anything substantial that they could do.

It was just too much firepower for them to defend against, so they were all knocked down with flames sticking to them when they tried to fight against the fireballs.

Once that happened a few times, they all realized that they were no match for these fireballs and had no choice but to dodge.

"Just how many can they fire out like this?"

All of them bitterly complained deep down, but they had no choice but to keep dodging or else end up like the ones on the ground.

However, this wasn’t the only thing that was coming at them.

The fireballs were just the ones that were coming at them out in the open, what came at them hidden behind these fireballs was something that made a whistle before cutting them down.

None of the disciples from the four righteous sects were able to react at all as this hidden thing hit them right in the back. It wasn’t as if this thing was strong enough to take them down, but it was enough to stall them.

Once they were stalled, it was easy for the fireballs to catch up and hit them from behind.

The last thing that those who were hit with this thing could think was, "Where did it even come from?"

What they didn’t know was that it was Lin Fan who was controlling this thing.

This thing was actually a small flying dagger that he received from Xiao Mu.

It was the first thing that Xiao Mu had been able to forge with the Eighty One Wind Hammers and it had given it to him after forging it. So Lin Fan felt that it was appropriate that he used this flying dagger to attack the disciples of the righteous sects.

Even though his technique wasn’t that good, the quality of the dagger made up for that.

With the high quality finish that it had, it really was perfect for him to control.

In a sense, it was almost as if it had been made for him.

However, Lin Fan knew that Xiao Mu wouldn’t do such a thing with the way that it felt towards him.

None of the disciples of the four righteous sects were able to get away with Lin Fan and Xiao Mu working together. Those that were close were hit with fireballs and those that ran away were hit with the flying dagger before being hit with the fireballs.

It really was a combination that they couldn’t escape from.
