Chapter 647: Chapter 647: You Are Awesome

Cecil always stayed with Arther. Arther was his alive wallet. He could ask Arther to buy whatever he wanted to eat.

No one could ask him to do anything except Arther.

Whatever happened, as long as Arther appeared, Cecil would become modest immediately and kept calling him master. Besides, he was so good at interpreting facial expressions. Even Arther’s face changed a little bit. He could have perceived his feeling immediately.

Their relationship looked a little bit weird. After they got back together again, they never left each other again. Though Cecil was a foodie and always was distracted by food, he also took learning and exercising seriously. As young was he, Cecil already formed the temper of a soldier.

He was qualified enough to be the guard for Arther.

What made Edie feel the most embarrassed was that Laty always called Arther uncle. But in front of Cecil, she always called him aunt.

When she walked into the house, Laty immediately greeted Cecil.

"Good afternoon, Aunt Cecil."

Hearing this voice, Cecil’s face changed. He immediately took the beef jerky and gave it to Laty.

"How many times should I tell you? Call me, uncle. I am a man, one hundred percent man. If you keep calling me aunt, others will make fun of me. I am a man. Don’t you see it?"

"Show your sincerity," Laty said in a naughty voice and shook the snacks in her hands. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

A younger foodie started negotiating with the older foodie on their snacks.

Finally, Laty got a lot in her hands. She got too many snacks from Cecil that she had to ask the maid to pack them and take them into her car.

"Remember, I am your uncle," Cecil watched Laty taking all his snacks away.

"Okay, Aunt Cecil."

Laty showed a tricky smile.

"What...," Cecil blushed because of anger.

He was really pissed off by Laty.

At the moment, Arther walked downstairs with Clyde. Though Arther was only twelve years old, he was as tall as the sixteen-year-old boy. He wore a light gray shirt. Handsome and elegant.

As for Clyde, he didn’t change a lot. Though five years passed by, he still looked so young, as the time never worked on his face.

Moreover, he became more popular, not only in the United States but also in Europe. He came to London this time for his cross-country concert tour.

Arther nodded to Edie, "Welcome."

"Uncle!" Laty rushed to them happily.

Arther held her up and smiled.

Clyde looked towards Edie and wanted her to talk to her alone.

Arther held Laty up and left, leaving these two talking alone.

He walked to the sofa.

Cecil said in a jealous voice, "She always listens to you. Tell her not to call me Cecil’s aunt again. I am a man. How could I explain to others if they know about this?"

"She calls me uncle. What else should she call you?"

Hearing these words, even Edie was shocked.

She looked towards Arther blankly.

Arther suddenly realized something wrong with his words. He coughed out slightly and said, "Sorry. She calls me uncle. How could she call you, aunt?"

"That’s....that’s right." Cecil padded on his chest. He was also shocked by the words Arther said just now.

Arther turned around and left. Then he said next to Laty’s ears, "Keep on. Double snacks."

"Yes sir."

Clyde took Edie into the kitchen to prepare some juice for those kids.

"Have you decided to go back to A?"

"Yes. Laty also wants to go back. She’s grown up. I show respect for her opinion now."

Clyde frowned, "But she does not know that.... whatever, she doesn’t have to know about that. Since you’ve made the decision, then go back. Contact me whenever you need me. I won’t go back these days. I might not be able to take care of you."

Edie burst into laughter, "I am your sister, all right. Do say these, as if I couldn’t even take care of myself. Don’t worry. I would take good care of us, me, and Laty."

Clyde hated it when Edie said she was older than him.

His face changed immediately, "You are born only two months before me."

"Still, I am your older sister, little brother" Edie looked at him, "Oh, I almost forgot. You once called yourself as my fiancée. You dare to do this."

This time was really Clyde’s mistake. He had to shut his mouth up this time.

"Edie, sorry, my apology."

Edie decided to give mercy to him. She forgave him this time.

The dinner was so delicious. The atmosphere was so great.

No one talked about the past. Because Edie was here, they didn’t want her to remind those painful things in the past. Now he was Miss Yates living a wholly new life with a wholly new identity. She’s left him for five years.

They didn’t need to talk about that. It was meaningless.

Besides, Laty was also here. She knew nothing about Edie’s past. No one wanted to upset this little girl.

After the dinner, Clyde drove them to the airport, together with Cecil and Arther. These two boys went to see them off. The flight was at nine o’clock tonight.

"Edie, couldn’t you stay for several more days?"

"I am afraid not. Take care of Cecil. Come to visit me to A when you are free," Edie smiled slightly.

"Okay," Arther nodded seriously and said several words to Laty.

They hugged each other. Then Edie took Laty to pass the security checkpoint.

Looking at their back, Clyde looked down to say to Cecil, "Cecil, don’t tell her anything you shouldn’t tell her. Know that?"

Cecil curled his lips, "don’t worry. I am not stupid."

Apparently, Clyde couldn’t believe Cecil. He looked towards Arther.

Arther nodded, "I would keep an eye on him."

"That’s great. I believe you."

"What? What do you mean? Don’t you believe me?"

Before boarding the plan, Edie wanted to order hotels for them. But Laty shook the mobile phone in front of her, "I have ordered."

"Oh, babe. You are awesome. How could you be such a smart girl? I am so happy. Surprised."

Edie kissed on Laty’s face satisfactorily.

Laty signed. She thought her father must be a highly intelligent guy. Otherwise, Edie would not be able to have such a smart daughter.

Every time Edie prepared to travel, she would get in a panic, as if her house was on fire. She would take a long time to find things, order hotels, and transport her luggage.

After experiencing this a lot, Laty got used to this model and decided to prepare everything for her mother.

"Laty, you are about to go back to school. Quite happy, hah?" Edie asked.

"No, I am not happy at all." Laty curled her lips,

"Why?"

"When you went to the parents’ meeting, everyone would know my mother is a stupid woman. That is so embarrassing for me."

"..."

Edie started to wonder whether Laty was her biological daughter. If her eyes didn’t look like Stuart and her shape looked like her, Edie would never have admitted the girl in front of her was her own daughter.

She was such a cute admirable girl. How could she give birth to such a smart but mean girl?

Absolutely impossible!
