As a result of the God of Crafting contacting Elaina and also unlocking the page for crafting in the Almanac, Elaina’s plan to work on the gifts got postponed. After all, something new appeared in the Almanac, and it would be weird if she didn’t take a closer look at it.

Elaina resummoned the Almanac again to open, but as soon as she summoned the book, she noticed something peculiar about it.

"Did-did the book actually get thicker compared to before? I am quite sure this book isn’t this thick before..." Elaina frowned.

The Almanac is thick. It’s quite thick, like an encyclopedia, considering that it contains a lot inside for its pages. Lately, Elaina thinks that the Almanac she had is more of an Encyclopedia than an Almanac. But since an encyclopedia only contains trivia and small information on certain areas, the Almanac is still not something she would call an encyclopedia, just because of that.

But now, the Almanac is getting thicker. If it is not floating, Elaina would think that the Almanac is a big brick disguised as a book.

"[Considering the number of pages the Crafting Pages has unlocked, it is natural for it to get thicker. In fact, the Almanac will continue to be thicker if you discover more things to craft, Elaina.]" the God of Farming said with a troubled concern on his voice.

"The Almanac will continue to get thicker than this?" Elaina frowned.

"[Yup. Don’t be surprised if the book is going to become the thickest book you have ever seen in your entire life in the future.]"

Elaina scratches her head. Just how many pages were actually added after unlocking the Crafting Pages in the first place?

She flips through the Crafting page and realizes how many pages have been added to the book. Considering that the Cooking page is just next to the Crafting page, it seems that the Cooking Pages that has a lot of things that detail recipes, it pales in comparison to the number of pages the Crafting page has added.

The Crafting pages have lots of extensive recipes for crafting, detailed on the pages with the inclusion of materials, equipment needed to be used, instructions, and tips to improve on crafting the said item. In short, due to how detailed everything has been, it isn’t a wonder that the pages have populated the Almanac the moment it has been activated.

"[Here is the neat thing here, Farmer. If you hold an item in your hand and you summon the Almanac to search for information about it, it will automatically filter out anything related to it and will show you most of the items that the item you hold will be used for. Try holding the silk threads in your hands to see the Almanac in action. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Elaina nodded and grabbed the silk threads still sprawled on the table, and as soon as she did, the Almanac immediately filtered the pages, flipping the pages like it is being blown by the wind, reducing the pages that she needed to search. After a few minutes, the pages have been roughly reduced so that all she sees are recipes that have the silk threads in her hands as part of the crafting process. Even the glove she just made recently have been included in the filter.

"This is very convenient! Does this work on all kinds of materials, like vegetables and food as well?" Elaina asked. After all, there are some things that include food as part of the items to complete a recipe.

"[Some food does, yes. But not all of them. After all, even if you cook something and call it crafting, that doesn’t fall under my expertise, and more on the Goddess of Cooking. Of course, some food can be included in crafting. For example, Annato. If you have the raw annatto seeds that you get from achiote trees, they can be either turned into raw coloring for food or perhaps a good natural dye for clothing, wool, threads, and many more. It all depends on the item you are holding. Experiment and see for yourself.]"

Elaina’s eyes sparkled in delight. Although she is not that interested in shifting her attention to crafting from her farming business, that doesn’t mean she is not in the slightest eager to learn crafting. After all, some items that can be crafted can also be used even on the farm. All of it depends on the item itself.

"Alright, I think I get the gist of it, but based on what you have said earlier, there is some sort of update that I will get to experience, which will cause the Almanac pages to increase? What causes this to happen though? Does that mean all of the pages here are not all of the known crafting recipes known to man?" Elaina asked.

"[If that is the case, then this Almanac of yours will no longer be a property of the God of Farming but my property instead, as the number of things that can be crafted by man itself is countless to the point that if I list everything here in this book, we might achieve getting the thickest book at this point. You don’t want that to happen if you still plan to remain a farmer and not a crafter. After all, I am not forcing you to keep crafting stuff. You can do it from time to time to level up your skill and mastery of it, but in the end, you are a farmer. So why stuff things that you might potentially not even craft?]"

What the God of Crafting said is true. She has no plan to transition or even change occupation, just because she unlocked another branch to work with. This is just something she will be using in the future that can assist her for farming, making money and for her hobbies in sewing.

"[Heh, at the very least, you are poaching other believers on your end. Even if you are gonna try to poach her away, I will not be giving away Elaina as she is not an object that can just be passed along. She can learn your stuff, but that doesn’t mean you can convert her, alright?]" the God of Farming firmly said to the God of Crafting.

"[idiot. Why in the hell would I even do that? I have plenty of followers already to the point that I don’t want to add another one to monitor. Just let her do what she wants. In the end, she will remain a farmer. It really doesn’t matter.]" the God of Crafting sighed.

Elaina smiled. Thanks to these newly unlocked pages, this will help a lot with what she should do on some items being produced on the farm and how she will be able to expand the farm further for this.
