Snow dressed up in a white formal suit and then she went to meet with the King. The representatives of the Sigil Families moved together and arrived at the capital. Snow took the ion engine car to the airport and then took the private plane headed to the capital. Leo and Lily saw her off and then Lily got her first ride in the Ion engine car and she was amazed.

She looked at the scenery that was fleeting by and asked, "Baba, can we race them?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "Nope, this thing is not very race friendly, it is not loud, and it is not running on the Tarmac or gravel. I will not race this thing on earth. On moon, it is a different thing."

Lily turned to look at Leo and said, "Baba, you are only letting them race it on the moon is because you want to the technology to mature and so that it could be deployed on other planets for exploration. The only race you love is when you sweat and smell of the burning rubber."

Leo smiled and said, "Love, you understand Baba so well."

Lily chuckled and replied, "You are so sweet Baba."

The two of them started to spew out sweet nothings and returned home with a smile on their faces. The car landed back in the garden and then Lily skipped back inside the house, and Leo looked at Kyle who was giggling while looking at the phone. Leo looked at the other people and then replied, "Guys, Kyle is giving a creepy smile, can you check if this guy is watching some porno on shift, and tell June to dump his ass."

The men chuckled and they stepped up, "Yes, Boss." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Kyle was stunned and said, "Hey! I am talking to June. Young Miss, I am being bullied!"

Lily smiled and replied, "I am not helping you fool my innocent Aunt June."

The guards chuckled and then Leo went inside.

In the afternoon, Snow reached the royal palace and met with the rest of the people. They all had some meetings in the past and this time, they have all come together to govern the country. Snow didn’t mind communicating and she was not closed off, but her boundaries were fine.

After an hour, the steward invited them all in the dining hall, where the Royal Family met them and conversation began to flow. Snow spoke only when she was asked something about the financial management for the future. She did say that they would be taking the trial and error method and implement different policies to work in different smaller regions and then select the best one to work all over the country and for a good time.

The primary thing they had to address was the corruption left over, and the inflation. The nation could not do without taxes, but they could cut them down because the revenue can be generated through state owned companies.

The king was pleased, and after the meal, he asked, "How would you guys like the oath ceremony to be?"

The people all had opinions and when it was about Snow, she said, "I would like to have it all done rather minimalistically with some family members and the High Priest from the Goddess Of Mercy shrine present beside you, Your Majesty. We who stand for the change and the promised prosperity must not cut corners and must not waste time in vanity. Also, the sooner we can finish handling all this mess, it will be time to take a vacation."

The people were shocked, and Snow shrugged as she replied, "What? My twins are turning one next month, and my husband intends to have a birthday party on the Lunar base, do you know how much of my schedule I will have to clear up before I can attend the party?"

The people chuckled, and the Duke asked, "I am sure that you are under no pressure from Leo."

Snow shook her head and replied, "Your Grace, he would build me a lunar base in the backyard if I asked him to, but it is those three goblins beside him. They will stop recognizing me if I missed out on the birthday, and for some reason, my children all love their father more than me."

This statement was spoken in a humorous tone and so the mood was light. The King said, "How about I sanction your leave for the birthday party as a gift for the change that you all have brought to the political galore? I cannot tell you how relieved I feel that someone is here to see that this termite of corruption is eradicated from the roots."

Everyone stepped up to express how it was their duty to serve the nation and the lunch came to an end, but the King had told them to call their family members over, and the swearing-in ceremony will be held in the Greeting Balcony of the palace the next day.

The families were informed and the heads of the Sigil Families made a move, they were invited by not the Ministers-to-be, but they were invited by the Crown, because they were people who had been the supporters of the Crown for a long time.

As they were flying, he wondered if the Ion Engine could be used to power a plane. The young man was beginning to think how he would do that when the flight landed on the ground. He picked up the kids and led them to the car standing in wait for them and they were off to the Royal Palace. The whole journey was very calm and just when they were about to enter the Palace compound, the young man asked, "Lily, how much of the book is left?"

The young lady replied, "Three quarters finished."

Leo nodded calmly before he said, "Can you read the rest of it after the ceremony? Once we go inside you will be approached by the media."

Lily frowned and looked at Leo as she asked, "Can I not pull of the silly kid card?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "No, who told you to be the genial young miss of the Cardinal Family who is always polite with the people."

Lily sighed and replied, "I had no idea that the people would begin to take me for granted."

Leo smiled as the little lady huffed and puffed before she put aside her boo, and said, "Imma show them what I can do."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Why do you have the stag nation’s accent?"

Lily raised her head and replied, "It is because Ma uses it when she is pissed off."

Leo nodded, it was true, Snow would turn into a Stag Goon the moment she was pissed off, and just when the small talk finished, they reached the compound and the after the motorcade went through the security check they all reached the main gates, and the reporters took out the cameras to click them all.

The Sigil Family heads had arrived earlier, and they were inside, but Leo knew that since these old people didn’t show up around much, the media people would be hungry, but when they spotted, Leo with his children, the flashes turned off, it was early morning and the weather was cloudy but they didn’t dare to use flash on him. The cold gaze from the man sent shivers down his spines.

However, some people put on smiles and they reached out to Lily, and asked her some questions, like, "Young Miss Cardinal, how are you feeling that your mother is now going to be the high level Minister and deciding on the matters of the national finances?"

Lily sighed and replied, "I am upset."

The people were stunned and Lily said, "She would not be staying home much and then I would have to change school, and then she is not even increasing my pocket money. You tell me Aunty, am I a bad child? My mother is so strict."

Leo almost choked but he knew that Lily was just avoiding everything by playing the aggrieved little girl, and her move worked, she exploited the stunned duration of the media and hopped inside the gates to stand beside the Princess, who could not be approached just because the media wanted to.
