CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 357: Sun General
The black hole grew larger and larger. It had taken a third of the barrier of the Noon Stronghold.
Suddenly, the barrier was turned off and a gust of wind blew the black hole away.
Mater retreated the black hole and looked over.
In the sky, a legion of Fae was hovering. They wore gold plated armor and each of them had white feathered wings.
"Blood Warlock! You will pay for what you have done!"
There were many Rank-3 leading the Sun Court army. The general was also a Rank-4, the same rank of strength as the current Mater. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
The black cat was only a Rank-3 but he gained Rank-4 power in the Everlasting Wilds. He did not have the abilities of Rank-4 and a very core ability of Rank-3.
To have that ability, Mater must create the Key of Disease first.
A few Fae flew up from the Sun Court Army and hovered behind the black cat. Each of them had black wings.
There were many Rank-3 Fae as well on his side. Two sides had the same amount of Rank-3. The fight would be decided by the only Rank-4, Mater and the Sun General.
"Why don’t we take this somewhere else?" The black cat stroked its whiskers.
"Gladly!" The Sun Fae shouted.
The two of them bolted away from the battlefield.
"Well, boys, I guess it’s only us now." A Rank-3 Moon Fae said.
The Rank-3 Fae clashed into each other. At the same time, the two armies below also collided.
The Sun Court with its reinforcement from the Sun Palace and the current soldiers stationed within the Noon Stronghold.
The Moon Court with its existing army and the army of Psychics and Revenants belong to Mater.
"This is what you have trained for, boys. Make me proud." Crow shouted.
His body disappeared as he activated his invisibility. His legion summoned their own Psycho-Blades. A few pulled a type of black mask down and turned invisible like Crow. His legion had evolved into two groups, the Fighter one and the Assassin one.
"Cover our front line! Keep our distance!" Aurora shouted.
The Psychics clasped their hands together and started casting their own Psionics.
Bash tapped his chest like a mad man, or more precisely, a mad demon.
"Charge!" The large red demon dashed straight up. Following him were many bulky muscular Psychics and Revenants with the same bloodlust.
The Tank Legion had the most casualty from the beginning. They were the ones that took the most damage after all. But now, with the Ashen Church, their numbers were refilled once more.
Evelynn and Sparrow acted as two special units that went around the battlefield and assisted any legion in trouble. Sparrow with his power to control the terrain could shift the tide of power. Evelynn with her sneaky Lullaby could weaken a great amount of enemies at the same time.
Solarix and Erin were similar and not belonged to any legion. Their roles weren’t focusing on helping the allies but mostly to cost as much as damage as possible.
Selina put on the Abyssal Helmet. The black armor enveloped her body once more.
"My lady." Forus’s voice echoed.
"Let’s play, Forus."
Selina raised her two hands, two blade appeared on each hand.
The Eternal Sword, a traditional long sword design.
The Eternal Blade, the slightly curved katana.
The Goth girl dashed into the battlefield and caused havoc within the Sun Court Army.
The Rank-3 battle was mostly equal and no one could do anything to each other.
The Rank-1 and Rank-2 battle were mostly lean forward the Moon Court side. The Psychics and Revenants Army was just too savage. They weren’t afraid and they did everything to kill as much as possible, despite killing themselves in the process.
With a ’Respawn’ point, dying didn’t seem that terrified anymore.
As for the Rnak-4 battle, Mater and the Sun General finally found a good place to fight.
"I heard your power isn’t restored entirely." The Sun General said.
Mater chuckled, "A mere rumor I assured you."
The Shifting Fire Wand appeared in his hand as he pointed it toward the Sun General.
"Have you ever seen a Warlock using Fate before?"
As Mater finished his sentence, golden feathers appeared all around him and bolted toward the Sun General.
A large golden spear appeared in the General’s hand and he deflected all of those feathers in one strike.
"Fate-Bearer? No. It’s that wand. A warlock cannot use Fate." The General mumbled.
"Such a good pair of eyes." The black cat covered his mouth and giggled.
The General grunted and slashed toward Mater. His war spear enlarged in mid flight and became a gigantic weapon. It made the wielder looked like an ant.
The spear slammed down from above, covering a large portion of the sky.
Hellfire enveloped the black cat as he disappeared from his location.
The General traced the spear toward Mater but the black cat teleported again, this time with Fey Scent covering his body.
"Fey Shift?!" The General widened his eyes.
The gigantic spear slammed on the woods below and killed off many trees.
The trees cried out in pain before they died.
"You shouldn’t kill the innocents like that." The black cat teased him.
Anything lived in this world. So even the trees had souls. The General just killed off a lot of innocent beings.
"To ensure the victory of the Sun Court. Anything is necessary." The General squinted his eyes.
The spear disappeared. His two hands swirled in a circle before pushing forward, a large sun beam blasted toward Mater.
"Energy Beam? My favorite form of attack!"
The black cat opened its mouth. Several Nether Spheres appeared around him then shot toward his mouth, fusing into one. He charged the Nether Beam up to ten times and fired back.
The Sun Beam almost reached Mater before the Nether Beam pushed it back.
The General gritted his teeth, "Destruction Beam..."
Everyone knew about this spell. It was Mater’s most famous spell after all.
"But it isn’t as strong as the rumor. You really haven’t recovered entirely, Blood Warlock."
The black cat couldn’t even answer because its mouth was busy firing the Nether Beam.
Back in the battlefield, the tide of battle had changed drastically.
