Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off
Chapter 621: A Snow Wolf Cub Is Born!
Hu Yan ignored him completely. His sharp ears were pressed tightly against the wall.
Unfortunately, the wall remained stubbornly silent.
After several moments of listening unsuccessfully, Hu Yan narrowed his eyes before suddenly turning toward An Mo.
"Hold them."
Without warning, he stuffed all three cubs into An Mo’s arms.
An Mo staggered backward.
"What—"
Before he could finish speaking, Hu Yan had already slipped away.
An Mo stared blankly.
Then his eyes widened.
That shameless tiger...
Sure enough, when An Mo turned around, he discovered Hu Yan crouching beside a nearby window. The tiger beast carefully pushed the window open just enough to peek inside.
An Mo nearly choked.
"You bastard!"
Before he could finish cursing, another white figure silently appeared beside the tiger.
Han Jue.
The wolf beast glanced at the window, glanced at Hu Yan, and then naturally lowered himself beside him.
The two beastmen exchanged a look. Neither of them spoke. Yet somehow both understood each other’s intentions perfectly.
A second later, both of them began sneaking inside.
An Mo almost blacked out from anger. His arms were already full of cubs. Xiao Yi was hanging from one side. Xiao Er was leaning over his shoulder. Xiao San had somehow climbed onto his lap.
Meanwhile, the two actual fathers were busy breaking into the delivery room.
"Have you both lost your minds?! His furious whisper echoed across the courtyard. Neither man paid him any attention.
Hu Yan slipped through the window first. Han Jue followed immediately after.
An Mo felt his blood pressure rising. "They literally threw you out!"
Still, he got no response.
The old healer watched the entire scene unfold before letting out a long sigh.
"You know," he said thoughtfully, "if it was your female giving birth...you have been sneaking inside too."
An Mo: "..."
No need to remind him of his bachelor status, alright!

Grandma Lin nearly exploded with fury the moment she turned around and saw the two beastmen sneaking into the room. Her eyes widened in disbelief, then narrowed sharply, only to widen again in fresh outrage.
"You two!" she bellowed.
The loud shout made both Hu Yan and Han Jue stiffen instantly, standing ramrod straight like guilty children caught red-handed.
Grandma Lin pointed at them with a trembling finger, her face flushed with anger. "Didn’t I throw you outside?!"
"Do you know why I always tell beastmen to stay outside during childbirth?" she demanded. Neither man dared utter a word.
Grandma Lin huffed loudly. "Because all of you are completely unstable in the head! The moment you see a newborn cub, your brains disappear. You either cry, scream, faint, or start acting like lunatics, and then you scare both the female and the newborn cubs!"
She jabbed her finger toward the door. "Get out!"
Just as the two powerful beastmen were about to be chased away again, Su Qinglan spoke up softly from the bed.
"Grandma Lin."
Her gentle voice immediately made the elder pause. Su Qinglan offered a small smile. "Let them stay."
Grandma Lin frowned deeply. "They will only cause trouble."
"They won’t," Su Qinglan replied with quiet confidence, glancing toward the two beastmen. "Right?"
Hu Yan and Han Jue straightened even further, their expressions turning extremely serious, as if they were soldiers receiving a life-or-death mission.
"We won’t make a sound."
"We won’t cause any trouble."
Both of them nodded so vigorously that their necks nearly snapped. Grandma Lin eyed them with deep suspicion before turning back to Su Qinglan. Finally, she let out a heavy huff.
"Fine. But if either of you dares to pull any tricks..." She pointed threateningly toward the window. "I will throw you out myself."
The two men nodded immediately, their grateful gazes practically overflowing as they looked at Su Qinglan. She couldn’t help but smile. These two were becoming more and more childish by the day.
Just then, a strange pressure suddenly bloomed inside her stomach. Su Qinglan’s smile froze.
At the same time, the system’s voice rang clearly in her mind:
[Host. Labor has officially begun. The first cub is about to be born.]
Su Qinglan blinked. "Huh?"
Grandma Lin immediately noticed the shift in her expression. "What happened?"
Su Qinglan looked down. "Grandma Lin... I think something is moving."
Almost the instant the words left her mouth, a warm sensation spread beneath her. Then, with astonishing smoothness, something slipped out effortlessly. Everything happened so quickly that even Su Qinglan was stunned.
The next second...
"WAAAAAA!"
A loud, vigorous cry filled the entire room.
Silence descended. Everyone froze in place...Grandma Lin, Lin Muyu, Hu Yan, Han Jue, and even Su Qinglan herself.
Grandma Lin slowly lowered her head, her eyes widening in shock. The cub had already come out completely on its own, without any assistance from her.
After delivering countless cubs in her lifetime, this was the first time she had ever witnessed such an effortless birth. It was as if the little one had simply walked out by itself.
"What..." Grandma Lin muttered, utterly dumbfounded. "What kind of female are you?"
Su Qinglan only smiled awkwardly and pointed at her still-rounded stomach. "I think there is another one."
Grandma Lin snapped back to reality. "Quick!"
Meanwhile, Lin Muyu had already gently lifted the newborn cub, her eyes sparkling with delight. "It’s a snow wolf cub!"
The moment those words left her lips...
THUD!
Everyone jumped and turned around. Han Jue was lying flat on the floor, completely unconscious.
The room fell into stunned silence.
Finally, Hu Yan’s mouth twitched. "This fool..." He walked over and nudged Han Jue with his foot. "Wake up."
When there was no response, Hu Yan kicked him harder. "Wake up!"
Han Jue’s eyes suddenly snapped open. "What happened?"
"You have a cub," Hu Yan said flatly.
Han Jue’s eyes widened dramatically. "My cub?" His face flushed bright red, then turned deathly pale, then flushed red again.
Before he could fully process it, Grandma Lin suddenly exclaimed, "Another one is coming!"
Everyone’s attention snapped back immediately. A few moments later...
"WAAAAAA!"
Another loud cry echoed through the room.
Lin Muyu’s eyes widened. "Another snow wolf cub!"
Han Jue looked as if he had been struck by lightning. His eyes rolled upward.
THUD!
He fainted again.
This time, everyone witnessed it happen clearly. Even Su Qinglan couldn’t stop herself from laughing softly. Hu Yan looked down at the unconscious wolf beside him and nearly wanted to bury him underground.
"You actually fainted twice. What kind of father are you?"
