While this was happening, Lin Muyu was carefully examining both cubs. Suddenly, her eyes widened dramatically.

"Wait."

Grandma Lin looked over anxiously. "What?"

Lin Muyu looked down at the cubs, then again, then rubbed her eyes before looking a third time. "Oh Beast God," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

Grandma Lin grew nervous. "What happened?"

Lin Muyu slowly raised her head, her eyes shining brightly. "They’re girls."

The room fell into absolute silence.

Su Qinglan, Hu Yan and Grandma Lin blinked at the same time. Even Han Jue, who had just woken from his second faint, blinked in confusion.

"What?"

Lin Muyu nodded excitedly. "Both snow wolf cubs are girls!"

"What?!"

This time even Hu Yan shouted in shock. Su Qinglan sat upright on the bed, stunned. Two daughters? Even she hadn’t expected this.

Han Jue stared blankly at the two tiny cubs. Girls. Both were girls. His daughters. His little daughters.

For several seconds, he simply stared, completely transfixed. Then his eyes turned red, growing watery with overwhelming emotion.

THUD!

He fainted for the third time.

Hu Yan looked down at his fallen friend, then at the two precious little wolf cubs, and back at Han Jue again. Finally, he covered his face with his hand in utter embarrassment.

"This is too embarrassing. I don’t know this wolf."

Hu Yan’s tiger ears twitched in irritation as their loud wails filled the room, their little paws waving desperately in search of their father’s scent.

"This fool..." he muttered, before striding forward and kicking Han Jue sharply in the leg. "If you’re not going to lick them, then I will."

The words had barely left his mouth when Han Jue sprang up with startling speed, his eyes wide with sudden awareness. "My cubs!"

In a flash of white light, he transformed into his massive snow wolf form. The enormous white wolf lowered himself carefully beside the bed, his usual calm demeanor completely shattered. His paws trembled, his breathing grew ragged, and even his ears quivered with overwhelming emotion.

Gently, he lowered his head toward the two tiny cubs. The moment they caught his familiar scent, their cries softened into quiet whimpers.

Han Jue’s icy blue eyes turned misty as he extended his tongue with painstaking care, licking them clean of the birth fluids. His movements were so delicate, it was as if he feared they might shatter beneath his touch.

One of the cubs let out a soft, tiny "Awoo..."

Han Jue froze, his heart seizing with pure wonder. He looked up at Su Qinglan, voice hoarse with disbelief. "Lan Lan... she made a sound."

Su Qinglan smiled softly. "Of course she did."

Lost in awe, Han Jue licked the cubs once more before gently nudging them closer to the warmth of his thick white fur.

The little ones instinctively crawled toward him...one burrowing into the soft fur of his chest, the other clambering onto his front paw.

The mighty wolf went completely still, not daring to move a single muscle, his eyes following their every tiny motion with breathless devotion.

"They’re so small..." he whispered, voice thick with emotion. One of his paws could easily cover both of them entirely. The realization that these fragile lives were his...two precious daughters nearly overwhelmed him again. He fought back the dizziness, refusing to faint while his daughters needed him.

The cubs nestled deeper into his warmth, seeking comfort and safety. Han Jue curled protectively around them, his massive body forming a gentle shield.

At that moment, nothing in the world could touch them. Not even the Beast God himself would be allowed near his girls without facing his wrath.

"My cubs..." he murmured in quiet reverence, his gaze shifting between them and Su Qinglan. A single tear slipped down from the corner of his eye, but he felt no shame...only overwhelming joy.

Hu Yan, watching from the side, saw something he had never witnessed before on Han Jue’s face: pure, unfiltered happiness. Pure gratitude and pure love.

Han Jue lowered his head, gently pressing his forehead against the two sleeping cubs. His voice was barely a whisper, filled with wonder. "So this is what it feels like... to have a family."

Su Qinglan’s eyes immediately turned red when she looked at Han Jue.

The large snow wolf was carefully cradling the two tiny cubs in his arms, his usually steady movements trembling uncontrollably. He repeatedly licked their soft fur as if trying to reassure himself that they were truly real. Tears continuously slipped from his blue eyes, falling onto the cubs nestled against his chest.

The sight made Su Qinglan’s throat tighten painfully.

In her previous life, Han Jue had sacrificed everything for her. He had given her his loyalty, his protection, and eventually even his life.

Yet despite everything he had done, he had never received anything in return. He had never had a family of his own, never held his own cubs, and never experienced the happiness that should have belonged to him. He had stayed alone until the very end.

But now everything was different. Now he was holding two healthy little daughters in his arms.

The warmth spreading through Su Qinglan’s heart was so overwhelming that her eyes nearly filled with tears as well.

However, before she could dwell on the moment, a sharp pain suddenly rolled through her stomach.

"Ah..."

A soft gasp escaped her lips as she instinctively tightened her grip on the hide.

This contraction felt even stronger than the previous ones.

Grandma Lin, who had been busy examining the newborn cubs, immediately turned her attention back to Su Qinglan. The moment she checked her condition, surprise flashed across her face.

"Another one!"

Lin Muyu nearly jumped in shock.

"What?!"

Grandma Lin hurried to Su Qinglan’s side and gently supported her.

"Child, don’t get distracted. There’s another cub coming."

The words instantly caused Hu Yan’s ears to shoot upright.

Han Jue froze as well.

His mind had only just accepted the fact that he had become a father to two cubs.

Now there was another one?

The snow wolf stared blankly, looking so stunned that Su Qinglan almost laughed despite the pain.

Unfortunately, another contraction arrived before she could tease him.

She clenched the hide tightly while Grandma Lin patiently guided her through it.

"Good girl. Don’t be nervous. Everything is going smoothly."

Su Qinglan nodded and followed her instructions.

A few moments later, a loud and energetic cry echoed throughout the room.

The newborn’s voice was surprisingly powerful, instantly drawing everyone’s attention.
