Demon's Lust: making a harem with lust system
Chapter 166: Behind the scenes
In a well-hidden bunker, way beneath the military headquarters, two humans and a hologram of another person had a serious conversation.
"Now, you have earth to rule however you want. From now on, the goddess squad will receive half of earth’s production value."
Aria was in a good mood after the awakening of the two immortals; Starblaize had cut all connections with them. With the sudden reinforcement on their side, the thin balance between them had finally broken.
Looking at the three figures in front of her, each one disgusted her more than the other one. After his awakening, General Armstrong had grown even larger, being 4 meters tall, and a mountain of muscles made him like a giant.
Next was a robotic dog that could talk as the representative of the brain; the thought of a machine being equal to humans had a wild implication for Aria.
And at last, behind the two, in a dark corner, a man stood, one with the shadows. No one had ever heard him talk; if he wanted to communicate with someone, he would just write in the air with his magic.
Out of the earth, only these higher ups had remained. All the other generals and vice generals were under the control of the brain already.
"You should do your part of the deal too; there will be no more immortals setting foot on earth ever." General Armstrong said with a bitter voice, "Even though they were immortals, against the goddess squad, it just meant that they wouldn’t get one shot."
"We would like to keep our healthy relationship!" A smile curled on her lips. "The Starblaize squad is out of the picture; those two women have joined their squad too. Only one problem remains."
The dog talked with fluent human language: "We know where he is; time is the only factor." The dog stood on its two feet; its height was at least 3 meters. "He already made 16 percent of earth into a wasteland for us."
Aria had assured Fereya and Scarlet that Ray would die on the first day, yet like always, he had always found a plan to survive. Now, with him alive, he was the type to destroy earth just to annoy his enemies.
"Maybe if your stupid friend didn’t take time to show off his magic to him, he would have been in my zoo by now."
The king of silence stayed the same; even after raining insults on his way, he wouldn’t react to Aria. She knew it better than anyone else.
"I’m afraid catching it alive is near impossible."
"Work harder." With that, she cut the connection and returned to her personal facility. On Mars each member of the goddess squad had a personal building for them that floated in the sky.
Aria’s one belonged to a vice leader, so as a size comparison, it had 170 floors and a vast place for anything she wanted to mimic from earth. In Aria’s case most of the middle floors were for her personal zoo of creatures on the brink of extinction or any living thing that she found interest in.
"I talked to Cindi. "A voice scared her from behind.
Their leader with an ant mask stood behind her; as always, no defenses worked on someone like her.
Aria enjoyed her success; they had pulled back from all their shares on earth. "She wanted to apologize?"
"No. Her words were simple: "Any direct interference against Blood Angel will cause her to act." Clapping, she continued, "Which means she still thinks that a blood angel can win." In doing so, guess who will be our enemy?"
"Impossible. I had Ith look into her system; the task that he has to face to break his wall is unheard of in difficulty. With confidence, Aria pointed at the paper. "And our gains are massive; this month alone is a tenth of what we got before."
"If Blood Angel wins, you will lose your status as my vice leader." She circled around her slowly. "I told Cindi that if you act alone and go to Earth, I will no longer count you as my squad member."
"What? The only reason that slut is after him is because she fucks him." With clenched fists, Aria hid her anger; the worst place she could get angry was in front of her leader.
Fereya’s hand, covered with a glove made out of bones, touched her cheeks. Sexual desires or not, if she wins, you have to face the consequences.
Scared of the fingers on her body, cold sweat ran down her face. "Trust me, Fereya. Blood angels will die in a month."
"I hope so." Fereya’s body turned into dust, freezing her from fear on the spot.
A new fear rose inside of her mind: What if the blood angel actually achieved the impossible?
Sighing, she went through the papers; a full meeting between the goddess squad members was going to happen, and Aria had to explain their new relationships with Earth.
"That red-haired slut, I should get rid of her too." The problem was she never left for the front lines, always hidden inside of their main base. "Fuck, I hate Earth."
Back on earth, in the secret room, only the brain and king of silence had remained. The king of silence had stayed in the same spot, still waiting for the brain to start its words.
"How long are you going to hide your fifth magic from her? When she releases that you have copied her magic, she will be furious." The dog’s laser eyes brightened. "You have crossed too many lines; at least capture the blood angel alive. For some reason every time his name came up, she acted like she despised him."
The man didn’t react, just absorbing inflammation.
"Next time, with your fifth magic, if you surprise him, he will die before being able to do anything!"
Words started to get written in the air in a yellow color: "He already knows; there will be no coming out alive. When the time comes, someone will die."
