"Sylvia, why are you in the mood so suddenly?" Caelus was taken aback hearing this. Her playful yet charming voice made him feel all sorts of emotions.

This beauty hugging him so affectionately was one of the most precious things in this world for him, and every time she showed him affection, it motivated him to live.

Before he could say anything else, Sylvia jumped onto his lap and started kissing his face. Her lips ran across his cheek and jaw, kissing him all over his face with wet, eager kisses.

Caelus was surprised, but Sylvia kept going without stopping, and her kisses grew more desperate.

Caelus held her waist firmly as he gently held her head. "Why are you so active today, Sylvia?"

Instead of answering, she looked at him with heated eyes and whispered, "Kiss me."

Caelus pulled her in and kissed her deeply, and then his hands slid down and hugged her curvaceous body tightly.

Sylvia kept kissing him hungrily, and her kisses grew wetter and more desperate. She then moved down to his neck, licking his skin slowly before biting down gently and starting to drink his blood.

As she drank, her body trembled, and she let out indecent noises softly against his neck that a proper lady shouldn’t be making. She was completely deep into drinking his blood, and her entire body began rapidly growing warmer.

It was like he was holding onto a heater right now, a very comfortable heater that gave him a sense of comfort. Between her small gasps while drinking, Sylvia suddenly whispered against his ear, "I need you, hubby..."

Her voice sounded needy and intoxicated, and her hands gripped him tighter as she continued drinking.

She pressed herself even closer to him, completely lost in the moment, and her self-control slowly broke as her desire took over.

With a wave of Caelus’s hand, the curtains around the apartment closed, turning the room pitch black. Only Sylvia’s red eyes lit up the dark room as her clothes began untying themselves.

Several hours later, the entire apartment they were in suddenly trembled, and the furniture around them shook violently.

Windows rattled, and both Caelus and Sylvia woke up immediately hearing the commotion.

"What was that?"

Before either of them could react, another violent tremor shook the building, and the walls groaned under the pressure.

Caelus sat up immediately and asked, "An earthquake?"

Sylvia’s expression became serious as she shook her head. "That doesn’t feel like an earthquake."

The two quickly got dressed and then rushed toward the living room window. The streets below were filled with panicked civilians, and cars screeched to a halt as people ran in every direction.

Someone suddenly screamed, and immediately after, a gigantic tentacled monster climbed onto the road from a spatial crack in the air.

More monsters began emerging from nearby rifts, and cars crashed into each other. Civilians began running in every direction.

The neighborhood around them no longer looked peaceful.

It was like a beast invasion.

"What is happening?" Sylvia whispered.

Caelus’s phone suddenly rang, and the caller was his mother. He immediately answered and said, "Mom?"

His mother’s worried voice came through urgently. "Caelus!"

"Are you alright?"

"Massive Spatial Rifts appeared across Queens and Manhattan!"

"Nobody knows what’s happening!"

"Go to the nearest shelter immediately!"

Before Caelus could reply, the call abruptly ended with a sharp buzzing sound. Bzzt!

Caelus stared at his phone and then noticed there was no signal. "The signal... It’s been jammed?"

He immediately realized this wasn’t an ordinary monster outbreak and muttered, "Just what is happening in New York?"

Sylvia stepped beside him, and her expression was cold. "Something very wrong."

Unknown to Caelus, the situation was much worse than anyone realized, and a gigantic barrier had formed around New York. The city had been completely sealed off, and strange energy continuously erupted from the center of Manhattan.

Nothing could enter, and nothing could leave. Just then, every registered player inside New York suddenly received a notification, and it appeared like an official emergency broadcast.

[Monsters have begun invading the city.]

[Civilians are in immediate danger.]

[Eliminate invading monsters.]

Caelus and Sylvia exchanged looks, and both immediately understood the importance of the situation. The rewards were valuable, but more importantly, countless civilians were in danger. Furthermore, he didn’t know what had happened to his parents.

"Let’s go, Sylvia," Caelus said.

Sylvia nodded immediately and replied, "Yeah. I am ready."

They quickly washed up and changed into combat-ready clothing, and then Caelus equipped Ruyi Jingu Bang while Sylvia prepared Crimson Sovereign. They made one final check before leaving.

They stepped outside, and the hallway was eerily quiet.

The moment they left the apartment building, both of them suddenly stopped, and an overwhelming presence crashed over the entire area. The surrounding air became incredibly heavy, and even experienced players nearby instinctively froze.

Caelus slowly narrowed his eyes and muttered, "That presence..."

His expression became serious. Whatever caused this was far stronger than anything they had encountered before. Sylvia stepped closer to him and asked, "What is it?"

Caelus didn’t answer immediately, and he simply stared in the direction the overwhelming aura came from.
