When the group saw what was in front of them, everyone except Victor was almost scared to death.

"H-Heavens..." Eleanor’s voice trembled as she looked at the scene before them.

Magical beasts whose size was comparable to a one-story building were attacking the small groups who were trying their best to resist. They seemed to be the only survivors from the attack, as the rest appeared to be lying on the ground as mangled corpses, which the beasts were gnawing on.

Bang!

Boom!

Some of the soldiers launched thousands of rounds of bullets at them, while others unleashed one weapon skill after another, but the number of beasts was too high, not to mention they rose again as undead after being killed. There were even a few human undead attacking, and Eleanor’s face darkened when she recognized a few familiar faces among them.

"Tier 2 undeads... and a few Tier 3..."

Victor’s expression grimaced as he looked at them. He was calmer than the girls since he had recently upgraded to Tier 1 and also obtained Gravity Manipulation, which he still had not had a proper opportunity to use.

"Fuck, they saw us!" Amber cursed as many of the beasts sprinted toward them, and at this moment they were no more than a hundred meters away. They stared at them with large eyes crackling with lightning while sticky saliva constantly dripped from their mouths onto the ground.

The problem was not only that their numbers easily exceeded tens of thousands. The only relief was that they did not seem to possess long-range attacks, or else Victor might not have been confident in protecting the group of women hiding behind them.

"I will handle them. You two protect the women," Victor said as he stepped forward while instructing Eleanor and Amber.

"You are crazy! You want to face them alone?" Eleanor exclaimed, while Amber looked completely confident.

"Do you think I can’t?" Victor asked.

"..." Eleanor wanted to say something but shut her mouth as she remembered how easily and brutally he had slaughtered the goblins.

Black lightning started to crackle around Victor’s body, and he turned into a streak of lightning and shot toward the sky.

"Giant Axe of Purgatory Lightning," Victor muttered as a giant axe made of lightning formed near him while he pondered, "I wonder what will happen if I add maximum gravity manipulation to it."

Victor directly applied the maximum 5x gravity boost on the axe and watched it descend at an extremely fast speed. Seeing this, even he broke out in a cold sweat.

"What’s that?" Eleanor muttered as she sensed something descending from the sky, and her expression immediately changed when she saw the humongous lightning axe descending from above.

"Heavens... he has such a powerful skill..." Eleanor uttered in a dazed voice. She would say this skill could rival the trump cards of many Duke or even Royal families. For a moment, she even thought the power behind the attack might surpass those families.

Amber, on the other hand, looked at the axe with admiration as she knew this was one of her darling’s attacks.

"Fuck!" Eleanor cursed as she felt the threat of death from the giant lightning axe descending from the sky and hurriedly used her skill. "Wall of Light!"

Eleanor still did not think this was enough and looked at Amber and shouted, "Hey, if you have any defensive skill, hurry and use it!"

Amber, who had been staring at the giant axe descending in a daze, snapped out of her reverie and looked deathly pale at the axe. She could also sense death from it and hurriedly raised her hand and activated her skill. "Demon Transformation!"

Instantly, Amber’s aura and mana became denser as two horns sprouted from her head, making her taller while radiating an irresistible charm. Her charm was so overwhelming that even some of the women behind her looked at her with blushes on their faces.

"A Transformation Bloodline..." Eleanor’s eyes narrowed as she sensed Amber had become much stronger than before as her appearance changed.

"Primordial Ice Walls!" Amber said, and giant pillars of black ice the size of five-story buildings immediately formed around them. After Amber had gained the transformation ability, her control over ice had greatly enhanced, and she experimented with it to create many new skills on her own without needing any skill books at all, unlike Victor, who still required lightning skill books to learn skills.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

A monstrous explosion, similar to that of a nuclear bomb detonating, shattered the eerie calm within the dark forest, followed by a huge mushroom cloud. Trees within a two-hundred-meter radius were ripped clean out of the ground or torn into pieces as debris flew everywhere.

The earth shook violently, and even the beasts farther away felt a tremor beneath their feet which, combined with the dreadful explosion that had yet to settle, frightened them so much that they roared and began running around in complete disorder

"Damn!" A man fighting in the distance groaned before his mouth opened and a torrent of blood spurted out uncontrollably.

RUMBLE...!!!!

BOOOOOM!!! BOOOOOM!!! BOOOOM!!!...

The ground shook and caved in, causing everyone to lose their footing due to the aftershock and fall amidst cries of shock and fear. Even the tiers who had been fighting the beasts paused and looked at the destruction caused by the axe with horror in their eyes.

"Heavens, what kind of skill is this?!"

"Could it be a Tier 4 skill?!"

"Nonsense! Do you think Tier 4 powerhouses have time to come here?!"

"This destruction... what in the heavens?!"

"Holy..."

Even Victor was dumbfounded seeing the destruction caused by adding Gravity Manipulation to the lightning axe. He had greatly underestimated the power of Gravity Manipulation. No, perhaps it would be more accurate to say that he simply did not know how terrifying the skill could become when activated at its maximum output but now seeing the effect he could help but swallow hard.

Behind the massive walls of light and ice, the women watched wide-eyed and filled with fear as they witnessed the devastation.

Eleanor’s eyes trembled when she saw cracks appearing on the light and ice walls they had created, and she looked at Amber and roared, "Quickly pour more mana into the ice walls or they will be destroyed!"

Amber nodded palely and poured more mana into the ice walls, and the cracks that had appeared started repairing themselves at a rapid pace, much to everyone’s relief.

"Damn reckless guy..." Eleanor looked at Victor, who was floating in the sky, with resentment. She wanted to curse him for using such a devastating skill and wondered if he did not possess a less destructive attack. Even though she was cursing him inwardly, there was a trace of awe in her gaze as she looked at Victor. She knew that if he had not used that skill, they might have already joined the undead faction.

"Is it over?" Amber said. There was a thin trickle of blood running from the corner of her lips, but her eyes remained fixed in the distance.

After the dust cleared, she sucked in a cold breath as the place where the monsters had previously stood was replaced by a deep crater resembling a dark abyss.

"Hmm, let’s take this chance and leave quickly. Who knows how many more will arrive," Victor muttered. He had watched all the monsters’ bodies turn to ash, so there was no chance of them turning into undead.

Victor turned into lightning and landed in front of the girls, who looked at him as if he had grown multiple heads.

"Just what are you...? Are you even human?" Eleanor could not help but ask, voicing her doubts aloud. The other women subconsciously nodded their heads as well.

"Heh." Victor merely smirked arrogantly before his expression turned serious. "Let’s leave immediately before more monsters arrive."

Hearing Victor’s words, everyone hurriedly nodded, and Eleanor said, "I have my personal carriage which can fit around two hundred people. We can use it to get out of Lightning Valley first and then teleport."

"Sounds good." Victor nodded his head in agreement and watched her bring out a small carriage engraved with magical inscriptions. ’She must belong to a high-ranking noble family to afford this,’ he thought.

Just as he was about to leave, he dumped his experience points to increase his level.
