I paid for the mana stones and accepted the device. The device was a customized one; I could only view and read information on it.

The staff left the area to give me some privacy. I began to read the information. As I continued to read, my expression got serious.

I didn’t expect the Capital City to have this many wizard families. I had thought this country would have only two or three wizard families.

But I didn’t expect there to be 10 wizard families with Elder-level powerhouses as their ancestors.

Then came the families with Forbidden Wizards as their ancestors.

They numbered more than 20, because some families did not disclose their total strength.

Many intelligence organizations had tried to collect intel, but they had failed in many attempts. It showed that the Capital was not simple.

If the Elder-level and Forbidden-level wizard families were this many, then what about the Magic Lords? There were more than 50 wizard families with Magic Lords as their ancestors.

Like the Forbidden Wizards, the Magic Lord families hadn’t disclosed their full strength. There could be even more families with hidden power.

A smile appeared on my face. I did the right thing by not walking boldly in here. Clearly, if the information showing on the device was true, then this country was stronger than a super-large nation.

Then I thought of something. Regardless, the Capital City was still weaker than the Magic City. The wizard towers are like pillars in the Magic City; behind them are numerous families and organizations.

Compared to the Magic City, this place was still weaker.

I had read all the information. My eyes flashed with a glint. I was surprised by the information regarding the Raymond family.

They were one of the ten wizard families with an Elder-level powerhouse. I had underestimated their strength.

What was more surprising was that the strength of Raymond himself was not accurate. In the intel, it said that Raymond had been hiding his strength.

Outside, he showed the strength of a Supreme Wizard, but the intel said he could be a Magic Lord.

Suddenly, the image of old man Barry came to my mind. I had always thought old man Barry was hiding something from me.

I guessed it was related to the Raymond family, but he didn’t tell me. Now, I started to think whether I had made a mistake coming here.

It all started because of the super relic. It has strengthened me. If not for the little girl, I wouldn’t have stayed there.

To save her, I waited there and came across the armored wizard. After killing him, I found the super relic.

So, it was because of the little girl. At least, I have to do it for her. The Raymond family is scary, but I should do it for her.

My identity was not weak either. I doubted an Elder powerhouse would offend the Mage Union. So, I decided to find and capture the wizard named Raymond.

Because of the super relic, I could imprison any Magic Lord powerhouse inside. After gaining some clarity, I put the device away. I shifted my attention toward the coffee; it had become cold now.

Anyway, I started to drink the coffee.

The five Magic Lords were scheming deeply. They were waiting for the masked man to come out.

They saw the masked man walk out. He then came to the main street and started waiting. They understood that he must be waiting for a cab service.

Seeing that, the scar-faced wizard and the others looked at each other. They made a decision. The next second, they walked out of the shop.

They didn’t go in front of him; rather, they maintained a distance. The appearance of five Magic Lords would startle everyone, so they walked not far away from the shop.

On the other hand, I was waiting outside the shop.

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart was stirred. No one knew about me, except for those Magic Lords.

Then I walked away from the shop. The shop was doing a side business of collecting intel. I used the system probe function to check.

[Ding! An old man Magic Lord from the nearby shop is keeping an eye on you.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart sank. I was right; the shop was doing side business as well. It was the time of the tournament, it was like a harvest festival for them.

They could collect more information on various forces, and people would come to get that information as well. So, it was normal for the shop to send someone to find out about me.

A cab came to pick me up. I opened the door and entered the cab.

"Guest, where do you want to go?" he asked.

"Take me to the hotel near the Raymond Mansion," I replied.

Then he recalled it was the time for the competition. It was natural for visitors to come; most of them were supporters of Young Master Raymond.

He smiled and started the car.

The car rose from the ground and hovered in mid-air. Then it started moving toward the destination.

When the car left, the five Magic Lords moved at the same time. They each drove their own cars and started following the cab. They thought the masked man was going to meet his friends.
