Chapter 1926: Part 2: Sea Travel

Montex Ship

Midnight came. I was in the room. I didn’t know why, but for some reason, I continued to stay here. I didn’t enter the Gregor Mansion.

I had this feeling that something might happen. I stood up and walked up to the door.

I saw turbulent waves outside. The sea was not calm anymore. My eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

[Ding! Sea monsters detected]

The system voice sounded in my mind. My heart stirred. I had thought about it, but I never expected it to happen so soon.

Then I made a decision. I knew old man Gary was outside. He is a Forbidden Wizard. There must be others under his command.

Suddenly, I felt a Forbidden Level mental power scan my body.

It happened too fast. My expression changed drastically. The next second, anger surged up in my heart.

Clearly, the old man was disregarding me. I knew something was wrong with him. He didn’t take me seriously.

Boom!

The next second, a monstrous wave appeared in the sea. The massive body of a monster emerged from the water. I saw that its frame was equal to a shark sea monster.

I had seen the body of a sea monster before, but the monster looked more dangerous in reality. The dark blue monster had a steel-like body.

Only the head appeared. The rest of the body was submerged in the sea.

Boom!

The deep blue shark released water arrows from its beastly mouth. In a flash, the water arrows came at the ship.

A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes. I used the system to find the monster’s order.

The system results said that the deep blue sea monster was an 11th-order monster.

The number of arrows was over a thousand. Before the water arrows could reach the ship, a powerful pressure was released from old man Gary. He directed his coercion at the arrows.

Boom!

In a flash, the coercion shattered the water arrows.

The pressure didn’t stop there. It continued moving forward before landing on the sea monster. The 11th-order sea monster burst into bloody pieces.

The surface of the sea was dyed with blood. The mixed body parts were splattered across the place.

Soon, the blood-mixed parts slowly drained away.

All of this happened within minutes. I was not surprised. I knew that the old man wouldn’t stay silent either.

But I had this feeling that the night would be long. Maybe more sea monsters would appear.

Time passed.

Boom!

It didn’t take long for more sea monsters to appear on the surface. Their frames were visible in the turbulent seas. Their numbers slowly grew to over a hundred.

I used the system to probe again. Their strengths were between the 10th Order and 11th Order. Seeing that, I decided to help.

The old man Gary might not ask me, but I had to do something. Then, I collected my thoughts and walked outside.

I saw other wizards standing outside. Their strengths varied between Supreme Wizard and Level-9. The Level-9 wizards could not do much.

Then I walked up to the edge. I saw the heads of sea monsters popping up on the sea surface. Seeing that, I didn’t know whether to act or not.

Everyone was waiting for orders.

"Dear Guest, lend us your hand in driving away the sea monsters," an old voice sounded from the top of the ship.

Hearing that, everyone turned towards the top. Following everyone’s gaze, I saw old man Gary standing on top.

He was looking somewhere deep ahead.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. We were surrounded by sea monsters right now, but the old man was looking somewhere else.

Then I followed his gaze and saw a monstrous body frame behind the other monsters.

A storm set off in my heart. I had never seen such a monster before. The size of the monster seemed to be larger than the entire ship.

Boom!

The wizards on the deck took action. They started casting their magic spell attacks. One after another, magic circles appeared in the sky.

In a flash, the whole sky above the ship was covered.

The next second, elemental attacks released from the magic circles.

Boom!

With a deafening noise, the attacks released from the magic circles. In a flash, the elemental attacks struck the sea monsters.

Boom!

The shark monsters’ bodies exploded into pieces one after another. I didn’t act. I continued to observe the seas. I didn’t think the monsters were dumb.

How could they expose themselves so easily to attacks? Unless they were following orders from a higher-order monster.

[Ding! A 12th-Order Octopus is approaching the ship rapidly.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I looked for the source. I saw something moving underneath the water in the eastern direction.

My expression darkened. I turned towards the old man. Old man Gary’s expression was not good-looking either.

There was another monster behind the shark monsters. We were facing attacks from both sides. But we only had one Forbidden Wizard.

Suddenly, I felt traveling was not safe anymore.

The others were busy attacking the sea monsters. They missed the 12th-Order Monster. The monster was moving underneath them.

If it appeared outside, the pressure alone would hurt everyone.

Boom!

A huge tentacle snapped out of the water. The tentacle was over 100 feet in height. If it were to land on the ship, it would be dangerous.

I thought fast. 12th-Order Monsters are equal to Forbidden Wizards. If there was no other choice, I should try a spell attack.

Gasp!

The other wizards gasped in surprise. They were frozen on the spot. They dared not move. Everyone understood that it was no ordinary monster.

Boom!

All of a sudden, magic inscriptions were activated. A blue layer covered the whole ship. Seeing that, I sighed in relief. I had forgotten that the ship had modern magic tech as well.

Boom!

The monstrous tentacles fell on the blue layer. The next second, a deafening noise sounded. The tentacles failed to break the layer.

The protection layer withstood the attack. The wizards breathed a sigh of relief. How could the Montex Shipping Company not have protection measures?

They were now rest assured.
