Chapter 1928: Part 2: Fending off the attacks

In the daytime, the Forbidden Wizard Gary returned to his room. The passengers on the deck returned to their rooms as well.

They didn’t think they would be under attack again. Only I was left on the deck. I was standing near the edge and continued to look at the sea.

Everyone was awake the whole night to protect themselves. Now they wanted to take a rest.

But I had an uneasy feeling still going on. So I continued to stare at the seas. It didn’t take long for a powerful mental power to pass through me.

The mental power belonged to someone none other than old man Gary. My heart skipped a beat. I didn’t expect the old man Gary to do this.

I think old man Gary had a similar thought. He didn’t give up the investigation. So I continued to look down at the sea.

Time passed.

The ship was sailing forward. Suddenly, I felt something was coming behind us. I turned around and rushed to the other edge.

When I reached the other side of the deck, I saw a big shadow beneath the water. But it was not close to the surface.

So the coercion was not felt by everyone. If it got closer, then the ship would be affected.

[Ding! A 12th Order Sea Monster is going to attack.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. A serious gleam flashed in my eyes.

What happened to old man Gary? He must have felt the movement as well. Don’t tell me the old man would let the ship take attacks.

I showed hesitation. I was going to see what old man Gary was going to do. It was too early to expose my cards.

On the other hand, old man Gary in his room saw the masked man’s actions. He sneered. He was not taking action. It was because he wanted to see the strength of the masked man.

He suspected the masked man was not a Forbidden Wizard. But he couldn’t see through him. To confirm the fact, he didn’t take action.

He was waiting for the masked man to take action. Then it would become clear whether he was a Magic Lord or a Forbidden Wizard.

But to his disappointment, nothing happened. The masked man didn’t take any action. His eyes flashed with anger.

Swoosh!

The next second, he disappeared from the spot and appeared before the masked man.

"Who are you?"

"Why didn’t you take action last night?" Old man Gary asked back-to-back questions.

He knew that the masked man might have an unusual background. But here on the moving ship, he was the sole power.

So he was not afraid of the masked man.

On the other hand, I heard the questions from old man Gary. But I found his tone was not right.

[Ding! Malicious intentions were detected.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart set off storms. I didn’t expect the old man to be exposed right away.

But it was a dangerous situation for me.

"I’m keeping my strength reserved. Manager Robert told me to take action when it’s necessary," I replied.

"Humph!"

Old man Gary snorted.

He said, "He is not here. Right now, I’m the Guardian of the ship. The 12th Order Monster is getting near. Stop the monster."

"Otherwise, I will force you to fight in front of others," he added.

Swoosh!

After saying that, he left the place. He went back to his room. My heart turned cold. The worst thing had happened.

Right now, I’m backed into a wall. If I don’t do something right now, then I will face an even more dangerous situation.

I don’t want to be forced to fight by old man Gary. In that situation, I can’t escape. And I won’t expose my trump card in front of them.

If my secrets were revealed, then he could do something worse. If it were other places, I wouldn’t mind coming up with a plan to retaliate.

Right then, I felt the mind power scanning my body. Old man Gary was still keeping an eye on me.

I gained clarity. I decided to take action right now. The next second, I jumped off the deck.

Splash!

The next second, I entered the dark, deep blue sea. I could see underwater due to my Wizard eyes. I looked around.

I felt a strong sense of crisis. Then I turned around and rushed to the ship’s anchor. Quickly, I swam over to the ship’s anchor.

The anchor was bigger in size than me. I stepped on it. The next second, I turned towards the 12th Order Monster. It had gotten closer.

If I wanted, I could enter the Gregor Mansion or use the blue water pearl. But I had to create a deception to fool old man Gary.

When the massive head of the shark monster got closer to the ship, I raised my hand and cast a 7th stage magic spell.

"Gravity Blast"

A wisp of gray magic power released from my index finger. In a flash, the powerful magic power attack struck the head of the shark monster.

Boom!

The next second, a huge explosion occurred.

The impact force reached the ship. I was standing on top of the anchor. The next second, I entered the Gregor Mansion.

Inside the hall, I gasped for breath. It took me a couple of seconds to return to normal.

Then I entered the control room. In a flash, I appeared in front of the control mirror. I saw the outside scenes through the window.

The ship was shaking. But the shark monster had retreated. I know the power of a 7th stage magic spell. It was not ordinary.

Even if it didn’t kill the sea monster, the power was enough to injure the sea monster.

I think my plan worked out well. I don’t know whether old man Gary has found out or not.

I continued to look at the outside scene in the mirror.

Old man Gary appeared in the sea. He was standing on top of the anchor.

My eyes flashed with a glint.
