Gravity Mage with Level-Up System
Chapter 1929: Part 1: Eel Monsters
Montex Ship
The Guardian Wizard Gary is standing on top of the anchor. His gaze sweeps across the underwater depths. He wants to find the monster, as well as the masked man.
Boom!
The 12th Order Shark monster emerges again. The head of the monster is bloodied. It has a deep wound. Blood is constantly flowing out from the wound.
The blood dyes the surrounding seawater. The monster is enraged. It didn’t expect to get injured by the Human Wizard.
Right now, it’s looking for the Human Wizard. The next second, it sees another Human Wizard.
Seeing him, the monster releases a powerful water beam. The water beam tears through the water. It’s going in a straight line to hit the ship
Boom!
On the other hand, Gary is dumbfounded. He clearly sees the deep cut wound on the shark’s head. It was caused by a magic spell attack.
The spell attack must be at the level of a Forbidden Wizard. It’s because the sea monster controls the water rule as well.
It can neutralize spell attacks from Magic Lords. So he understands that the Masked Man was a genuine Forbidden Wizard. But he is nowhere to be seen.
"Don’t tell me he was swept away by the seas," he utters.
It’s because Magic Lords and Forbidden Wizards cannot stay much longer underwater.
He doesn’t have time to think about other things. He immediately casts a magic spell.
Boom!
A water bubble envelops the ship on all four sides, including him. It’s a Forbidden Wizard-level defensive magic spell.
Boom!
Right then, the power from the water beam strikes the bubble covering the ship.
A deafening noise sounds. The water bubble manages to withstand the water beam attack. The broken power scatters across the seas.
Seeing that, the 12th Order Sea Monster is enraged. It continues to release a few more water beams. They contain magic rule power.
Boom!
One by one, the collision noises sound. They do nothing but create more turbulent waves. It’s shaking the ship.
Yet the ship doesn’t stop; it continues on its course.
Inside the Gregor Mansion, I’m watching the battle in front of the control mirror. I didn’t expect the old man Gary’s water magic to be at this level.
If he had taken action against me directly, then the consequences would have been disastrous. Fortunately, I had created a deception to escape.
I have to say that the 12th Order Sea Monster is enduring. Despite the injuries, it continues to attack.
Just one night has passed, and the ship has already faced such an attack. The journey is still long. I don’t know how the Montex Ship Company is able to do business.
The Guardian Gary looks suspicious to me. He doesn’t seem like a good person. How is he able to take the passengers to the other side of the shore safely?
I guess only time will tell. Then, I continue to watch the battle.
Time passes.
Like the Octopus Monster, the Shark Monster stops chasing after reaching the end of its territory. It doesn’t follow behind the ship.
It gives breathing space to the Guardian Gary and the passengers.
Nighttime comes, and the passengers come to the deck to check. The sea monsters are active during the nighttime.
They had sleepless nights during the previous nights. They are still sailing in the sea, so it’s going to be the same today.
But they have decided to preserve their mana. Everyone has seen the ship’s defensive mechanism, so they are not completely without protection.
As time passes, it doesn’t take long for everyone to gather on the deck. Guardian Gary appears on top of the ship.
He gives similar instructions to the passengers as last night. He suddenly recalls the masked man. If the masked man were here, he would have used him to fight the monsters.
It would have reduced the pressure on him. He thinks the underwater sea and the attack from the sea monster might have swept away the masked man.
When it comes to his background, he doesn’t care about the masked man’s background. It’s because many people die during the sailing. Most of the deaths result from fights against the monsters.
So, he will just cook up some story as well.
Not long after, the sea monsters appear. This time, the sea monsters are different. The ship has entered another sea monster’s territory.
The sea monsters that appear are 30 to 40 feet in length. The sea monsters that have come this time are eels.
These eels are of different types. Some of them have different abilities, including poison. Like other sea monsters, the eels have powerful monsters as well.
The 7th and 8th Order Eels are coming from the bottom. They are closing in on the body of the ship from below.
Boom!
The wizards start using spell attacks. One after another, the spell attacks strike the bodies of the different eels.
Their bodies explode into pieces. The blood dyes the seawater. There are higher-order monsters as well, but they have yet to make their appearance. They have seen the duel as well.
That’s why they are enraged. The eels want to know the strength of the human wizards. The human side feels the same as well.
Old man Gary instructs the driver to leave the territory as quickly as possible, because they don’t know the strength of the eels.
If they have Magic Lords and Forbidden Level Ranks, then it could be troublesome. So, he wants to take the ship away from the eels’ territory.
The eels are different from the shark monsters. You never know when they will come.
The wizards on the deck continue to use their spell attacks to eliminate the eels that are reaching the surface.
They have covered all three sides except the bottom. The bottom side is being monitored by the old man Gary.
He sees the seas around the ship dyed red. He has no other choice. It is their method for traveling on the sea. Old man Gary has been following the instructions of the elders before him.
According to the elders, the ship should not be stalled. Otherwise, it will invite more danger.
