Raiden found his vision obscured by a small thing clinging on to his face, causing him to fall backwards to the ground.

Raiden tried to grab it and pry it off his face, but he felt like there were two hands that were grabbing the side of his face very tightly.

"Please...get....off!!" Raiden used both of his hands to pry the terran beast away, finally getting a good look at it.

In Raiden’s hands was the smallest Terra Beast he had ever seen.

She was barely the size of his head— a pure white spider, her body almost translucent, like someone had carved her out of pure white jade. Eight legs, each one tipped with faint pink at the joint, moved and kicked about with a quick and restless energy, like she was always about to go somewhere.

Running across her body were thin lines of hot pink glowing faintly from within. They branched outward from her core in a pattern that looked like a glowing spider on her back, giving her a mystic look.

But the most striking part was her eyes.

Six of them. Two large ones at the front, sitting wide and round like a pair of pink moons, and four smaller ones arranged behind them. Every single one of them glowed a deep, vivid pink, filled with an emotion that Raiden had come to fear ever since he started taking care of Woolie.

Curiousity.

"Shaa~?" She tilted her head at Raiden, all six eyes blinking at him in sequence.

Raiden never thought a spider would ever end up looking this cute.

"Aww, she is so cute! Let me hold her!!" Sylvia shouted as she moved forward to scoop up the spider from Raiden’s arms, only to be stopped dead in her tracks by Ruby, who silently shook her head.

"Waitt for itt." She instructed calmly.

"Wait for what?"

Sylvia might not have gotten the answer, but Raiden was sure he did as he looked at the status in front of his face.

Feeling the dizziness in his head, Raiden felt like fainting as he lost the strength in his body, letting the spider fall down from his hands.

"Help...Poison..." Raiden gasped out his words with difficulty, sending everyone but Ruby into a frenzy.

"Oh no, big brother!! Don’t die!!!"

"Woolie!!"

"Sha Sha Sha!!!"

All three young ones started running around the room in panic.

Meanwhile, Ruby’s face turned into a look that said ’I knew it’. As she looked at Raiden, who was apparently dying due to poison.

"Ambulance!! I got to call an ambulance right now!!"

Sylvia ran towards her phone on the table and picked it up, trying to call a number.

But her hands were shaking so much that she wasn’t able to type in anything, making her panic even more.

Just as Woolie jumped on top of Raiden and was about to use his electroshock therapy to cure Raiden, a voice rang out in the room, making everyone stop in their place.

"Everyone stopp~ He will be okayy. He is nott dyingg." She used her tail to pick up the little spider and put her on Raiden’s face again, blocking his view of the world.

"Relaxx, little girl. It’s your poison, so you can cure it easilyy. Take a deep breathh, and concentrate."

"Shaa?!!" I did this?! ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

"Yess, you did. But it’s finee. Rai Rai is strongg. Take yourr time and take backk your poisonn." Ruby slowly slithered closer to the little spider and caressed her head softly with her tail, calming her down a little.

"Shii!!" I will do my best!!

Slowly, but surely, under a minute, Raiden’s face went from blue to red as all the poison was purged out of his body.

Raiden sat up once again, pulling the spider off his face and brushing her little head with his hands.

"Thank you so much, you did great!" Raiden praised her heavily, making her blush a little.

"Ugh, you are impossible!! I give up!!" Sylvia shouted as she waved her hands in defeat.
