Legendary Beast Tamer: Starting With Legendary Rank Sword
Chapter 110: The Gorgeous Moon
After the last inner disciples dueled and the sun had finally set, the broadcasting network team set up a light equipments for the commentators.
For the beast sync arena? It was currently the full moon, so its gleaming moon light sufficed in manifesting enough radiance in the beast sync arena.
The cameraman’s camera was clear and detailed to begin with, even as far as having a night mode.
Master Shen appeared once again. When the cameraman focused the camera on him, Master Shen swept his gaze on the perimeter and shouted in a calm voice, "Felix, Jayden, come."
Krisha glanced at Felix and said, "Goodluck!"
Felix smiled. He said, "You know, what you did earlier wouldn’t work now."
He jumped down, leaving Krisha speechless.
She frowned and finally realized what he meant, causing her to smile.
The Azure Cleave Dojo disciples’ main weakness was obvious and they thought Felix and Krisha wouldn’t be aware given how active they were in attacking the beast tamer, not their beast pet.
Hence, when Krisha targeted Damian’s beast pet instead, whose aim was to slowly control the tide of the battle, spoiled Damian’s plan and changed everyone’s understanding of Krisha and how battle was supposed to unfold.
Krisha’s decision as what may seemed as shameless action was the result of her victory. In a battle, especially in an official match, so long no cheating was involved, any sort of action was acceptable. Victory was the only result accepted—everything was overshadowed.
Watching Felix’s back walking towards Master Shen and then landed her gaze at Jayden, Krisha wondered what preparations Felix had against him after she probably spoiled it.
Krisha was confident that Felix would defeat a Commander Rank 6 beast tamer, twice Felix’s current rank.
If Damian, who was only two minor rank higher than her, made it almost difficult to defeat him, Krisha wondered how difficult even more to defeat against a beast tamer with three minor rank higher.
Looking at Felix walking without feeling pressured at all, Krisha wondered how it feels to be in his position.
Felix was as Krisha described felt leisure, apparent from the way he walked.
However, that doesn’t mean he felt pressure. Staring at Jayden who was about to walk beside him, he felt the oppressive aura of a Commander Rank 6.
Perhaps, it was just an instinctive response, knowing he was about to fight against him.
When Jayden stared at him, Felix felt like he was being stared by a predator, ready to take him by taking advantage its sheer advantage in strength.
Felix trembled.
Not out of fear, but excitement.
To finally duel against an individual without holding back—except Rain wasn’t with him—animated him.
Finally, when they faced Master Shen, the latter simply said, "Take your position."
Felix excitedly took the position where Krisha stood and Jayden on Damian. It also conveyed who was the challenger and the individual being challenged.
Felix and Jayden sized up each other. They simultaneously let out a smile.
Master Shen said, "Summon your beast pets."
Jayden summoned his beast pets first.
An Ironclaw Cat appeared on his right side, slimmer than Moon. It was also a male and he was gorgeous.
A Steelcoil Serpent appeared on his left side, quite taller than Damian’s Coilshock Snake.
A Bladewing Hawk appeared above him, flapping his wings.
It was then Felix’s turn. He summoned Moon.
As soon as Moon appeared and landed her feet on the floor, her milky-white fur glowed faintly under the moonlight.
She was undoubtedly gorgeous, catching the eyes of the disciples. They were already used to seeing her, but this was the first time her fur glimmered under the moonlight, mesmerizing them.
Even the commentators were left speechless for a full minute, admiring Moon.
Master Shen was the same.
The lunar energy radiating from Moon exuded, showcasing her full strength.
For a full minute, everyone was left awestruck.
Krisha even smiled bitterly, admitting that Moon was more gorgeous than her.
Perceiving the fervent gazes directed at her, Moon raised her chin high. She was felt proud and boastful.
Felix only smiled at her.
When Felix turned towards Master Shen, the latter finally snapped awake and stomped his feet on the floor.
The floor trembled, much intense than Krisha and Damian’s, easily removing the assumption that it would be shallow water again.
To everyone’s surprise, a narrow platform began to raise below Felix going to Jayden made out of elevated beams. It continued to raise higher until it reached 40 centimeters high. The width of the platform was as long as a ruler.
Felix glanced at Jayden and noticed his reaction. He seemed to not expect it.
Jayden stared at Felix and said, "You know, the chances for the modular terrain floor to choose the narrow elevated beams are lower than the other floor combined. I heard it’s simply because it cost a lot. Still, it wasn’t gotten rid of as Master Shen considered any possible worst environment to be in while fighting against powerful beasts."
Felix nodded. "Indeed, Master Shen is visionary." He smiled. "Also, this duel might not last longer than I thought."
Jayden smiled, as well, saying nothing.
Finally, when silence ensued, Master Shen shouted, "Begin!"
Jayden’s Bladewing Hawk flew towards the sky, swiftly gliding until it hid its presence through Felix’s blindspot. The Steelcoil Serpent and the Ironclaw Cat jumped and landed on Jayden’s shoulder.
Jayden took a simple stance—unknown it was Rooted Horizon or planning to attack Felix.
However, Felix wasn’t Krisha. Since the platform forced him to attack in a linear path, he didn’t have a choice but to attack Jayden directly.
His sword art wasn’t created to defend himself.
He took a stance and bolted towards Jayden.
By moving with near-instantaneous flow, he almost disappeared from the hawk’s vision.
Jayden was taken aback by Felix’s speed as well. He was swift, faster than him, who reached Commander Rank 6.
He knew it was because of Felix’s movement technique and his mastery towards it.
Without hesitation, he took the Rooted Horizon stance, rooting himself by grounding his energy in his limbs to the floor.
With his Rooted Horizon stance amplified by metal energy, he was confident that no matter how strong Felix’s attack, he wouldn’t be pushed or lose his balance at all...
