Felix chatted with Master Vey for some time, leaving behind the others, who listen to them in amusement.

Eventually, Master Vey bid farewell to him and his family, before disappearing. Master Shen followed, leaving a congratulatory message with words that could be counted with hands before leaving.

Until Felix, his family, Krisha, and Doctor Eleanor were left.

Doctor Eleanor said, "Finally, that obnoxious old man finally left."

Felix chuckled awkwardly.

"Felix." Doctor Eleanor stared at Felix with radiant eyes, sparkling in excitement. "The ritual was successful. The thesis has been approved to be defended at the Annual National Medical Assembly. I’m sure you’ve saved up the last week of July for this, right?"

Felix smiled and nodded.

His confirmation left them in awe. They didn’t expect Felix to be confident in the ritual he provided.

Doctor Eleanor giggled. "How bold. Anyway, as always, I’ve written your name as co-author of the thesis. You can also be the main author, but you’ll be the one to defend." Doctor Eleanor teased.

She actually didn’t mind losing that significant position. It wasn’t her idea to begin with. Anyone who’d read the thesis would understand that Felix was the main author no matter what.

Felix, as expected, shook his head and rejected it instantly.

He said, "You can’t say that I’ll be the main author since it’s not my idea, really. It came from my sword who has knowledge about his past life."

"Yup." Doctor Eleanor nodded. "But since you’re the owner of the sword, then it’s basically your possession."

Felix shook his head. "Still, you have a brilliant mind. Your effort in executing and researching the ritual thoroughly makes you deserve to be the main author, Doctor Eleanor. And I don’t want to entangle myself in medical conversation. I’m sure that after you’ve gained knowledge from the ritual, you’ll contribute more than this."

Doctor Eleanor was pleased. She thought. What a fine young man! If I’m only ten years younger, I might already be fallen head over heels for him!

"You’re right, Felix. I’ve had several ideas in mind that inspired by the ritual you’ve provided. The ideas alone are enough for me to produce ten more thesis for the next five years."

Felix beamed a smile. "Then, for the next five years, your medical advancement will be by leaps and bounds. It won’t be long before the Chambers City becomes an S-grade city."

He meaningfully stared at Krisha, who was taken aback.

Krisha rolled her eyes. "Like I said, I don’t want to be a mayor. That position should be given to you."

Felix smirked. "I reject. You’ll inherit it no matter you like it or not."

Krisha shrugged and did not argue back.

Doctor Eleanor smiled at them. "It doesn’t matter. As long as my thesis contribute a lot for the sake of humanity’s health care, nothing else matters for me."

"You’re very compassionate, Doctor Eleanor. Let me thank you again for curing my younger sister."

Before Doctor Eleanor could refuse, Felix already kneeled with one knee and bowed deeply in front of her.

"W-What are you doing? T-This is..."

Felix’s parents were at loss, too. Mia, on the other hand, simply beamed a smile and followed his elder brother.

She said, "Thank you, Auntie!"

"Auntie..." Doctor Eleanor had been hearing the word again and again from Mia, but she still wasn’t used to how she was being addressed.

Felix’s parents followed suit, until Doctor Eleanor had no choice but to grab Felix and raise them up.

Felix didn’t make the matter difficult for her and stood up.

Afterwards, Doctor Eleanor bid farewell to him and his family, hugging Mia tightly, before finally leaving.

Felix turned towards his parents and asked, "I’ll continue to stay here until Friday. Me and Krisha will still have to duel before finally leaving the Azure Cleave Dojo."

Sarah and Noah nodded. "Your father and I still have to work tomorrow. Can I entrust Mia to you? We’ve already asked permission to Master Shen Kael and he agreed readily."

Felix turned towards Mia and asked, "Are you sure you want to stay here? It might be boring."

Mia nodded frantically. "Yes, yes, Big Brother. Fighting with sword techniques are cool. I want to be cool. I want to learn how to use it!"

Felix chuckled. He turned towards Krisha and grinned. "How about you stay with Krisha? Also, she can teach you properly than me."

Krisha was about to rebuke but understanding that Felix’s parents were present, she held herself back and forced a smile at Mia.

She was about to reply when Noah smacked his son’s head, saying, "Don’t burden Miss Krisha with your responsibility. Take care of Mia properly. I’ll teach you a lesson if you fail."

Felix didn’t evade his father’s slow fist and endured the pain of being smacked by his father.

He grumbled. "I mean, Mia is better to stay at Krisha’s room at night. The part where she has to teach Mia is just a joke."

Krisha chuckled and grinned at Felix, her eyes were full of mockery.

However, when Noah turned towards her, she instantly composed herself and nodded.

"It’s fine, too. I can take care of Mia whenever she stays at my room. I’ll teach her on how to be adult soon."

Krisha smiled brightly at Mia, who was visibly excited.

Mia hugged Krisha tightly, which the latter reciprocated.

Sarah grabbed Krisha’s hand and, with eyes filled with gratitude, said, "I can’t take you enough to look after my son’s negligence. Please take care of my daughter."

Krisha nodded and forced a smile, feeling a bit awkward.

Felix complained after hearing what his mother said. "Hey, she’s not looking after my negligence."

Sarah glared at Felix, and the latter instantly shut his mouth.

Afterwards, Sarah and Noah bid farewell to their children and Krisha.

They hugged their children, even including Krisha, tightly before reluctantly leaving the Azure Cleave Dojo, guided by an outer disciple, who also belonged to the Felix’s fan group.

Yes, Felix and Krisha’s fan group didn’t disperse yet. They were simply waiting for their time to annoy them until Felix and Krisha didn’t have a choice to spend half an hour entertaining them...
