The broadcasting network caught wind of the upcoming duel between Felix and Krisha before they left.

Hence, when they interviewed each of them, Evangeline asked if it would be possible to record their duel live once again.

Krisha rejected and Felix did the same. Their reason was simple—their battle was not as competitive as earlier.

Only Felix and Krisha knew the significance of their duel, and they liked to keep it to themselves.

Hence, Felix and Krisha were chatting about their upcoming duel on Friday now with Mia on their center as they headed to the Residential Wing to eat at the cafeteria.

They decided that their duel was simply to assess themselves before leaving the dojo.

As they feast in the cafeteria, accompanied by Mia who were slimmer than Krisha, they invited the inner disciples, who joined them.

They connected the tables and enjoyed the feast.

Felix smiled at them. On his side was surprisingly Jayden, who shared his life and goals while eating.

Felix, to his surprise, understood Jayden. Felix shared his life and goals, as well. Jayden was not surprised by how lofty Felix’s goal was and instead admired him for it.

In the end, they both developed a friendly relationship, causing Felix to be happy that he managed to be acquainted with someone before leaving the dojo entirely—of course, except the instructors and Master Shen himself.

The feast in the cafeteria was even joined in by the chefs and outer disciples, who were invited by the inner disciples themselves.

It was an unusual occurrence in the cafeteria, but the Felix and Krisha’s duel against inner disciples were more unforgettable and remarkable.

Not all inner disciples were present, though. Isaac wasn’t present, Nicholas himself had been demoted to outer disciples.

Most of the inner disciples present didn’t clash with sword against Felix nor openly showed their hostility towards him.

Since Jayden himself appeared amiable to Felix, why would they not discard their hostility for someone who didn’t offend them deeply?

After listening to Felix and Jayden’s conversation, they realized they misunderstood Felix.

Only one destined for greatness doesn’t fear the opinions of the society, his hearts and mind are set on his conviction and goals. Eyes to the sky, feet to the ground.

They thought similarly as they gazed at Felix with renewed understanding.

Krisha, on the other hand, was silently observing them while entertaining Mia.

Recalling to when Felix offended the inner disciples to befriending them now while being true to his words... Krisha was honestly speechless.

Not in her wildest dreams that Felix’s absurd words to come into reality.

She didn’t even know how to react instead of sighing in relief.

As they were talking, an inner disciple thought of Ben and asked Felix and Krisha of whether they liked to invite him.

They were used to seeing Ben around Felix and Krisha, so they thought he might want his presence.

Felix and Krisha didn’t reject the idea, so long as Ben wasn’t busy.

Without hesitation, the lowest in the ranking, stood up and went downstairs to search for Ben.

In a while, he came back with Ben who were anxious.

His body was tensed, his hands were trembling. He was in disbelief that he had ascended in the floor where it was almost impossible to step upon.

Although brief and wouldn’t change his status, it would remain an unforgettable moment of hs life.

Before he desired to become a journalist, he had also fallen in love with sword fighting.

He was already anxious after stepping foot past the stairs, but he froze when every eye landed on him.

Even when Felix and Krisha’s gentle gaze, he was overwhelmed by the gazes of the others.

They chuckled and turned their heads away from him.

They were aware of how timid Ben was but admired him still. The fact that he didn’t mind offending the inner disciples in his writing just to deliver the news filled with facts, the inner disciples didn’t treat him lightly because of it.

They believed Ben would be among those journalists, who would be admired by many.

Felix invited Ben to join in the feast. To make him more comfortable, Jayden gave up his seat and slid his butt father from Felix to give Ben a space.

Felix thanked Jayden and gestured for Ben to sit right next to him.

The inner disciple led Ben to Felix, and the latter heaved a huge sigh of relief after sitting next to Felix.

Felix made him comfortable, the inner disciples’ attention didn’t.

Felix could only chuckle.

"If you want to become a journalist, every eye will be in to you. You should get used to it."

Ben nodded.

Jayden passed him an empty plate and unused utensils, which Ben received with agitated hands.

Ben had to grab the foods by himself, lest Jayden might do it in his stead.

"Eat," said Jayden politely and Ben nodded without hesitation.

It wasn’t that he feared Jayden, it was simply because he admired him, as well. He was not used to be given much attention by an admiring individual.

While Ben was lost in his thoughts, Felix asked, "Any news you can share?"

Ben’s eyes widened. He finally recalled something important he had to share with Felix.

"I-I do. But is it okay to say it here?" 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

Felix furrowed his eyebrows. "Why? What is it?"

Ben said, "The total revenue of the live isn’t officially released yet, but there are some rumors I heard directly from the broadcasting network team themselves when I was helping them packing their things.

They stated they earned more than ten million credits."

Everyone who heard what he said was frozen. They didn’t expect to hear an absurd amount.

Even more ridiculous was it wasn’t included the sponsorship that the participants would earn. Every inner disciple had a share when they dueled against each other after Krisha and Damian fought.

Felix and Jayden, as the most anticipating match, should also receive earning most than the other.

In other words, it was to be expected that they would earn a million credits each, at least...
