It was currently evening and Lucia had drove the blue sedan to the same restaurant before. Krisha had already reserved a table for them and they didn’t need to rent a private room.

As expected, when they entered the restaurant, as soon as the waitress lead them to their table near the window, overlooking the city lights, they instantly became the cynosure of all eyes.

Once Felix, Krisha, and Mia sat first, Lucia swept her gaze around the restaurant, seemingly warning them to think twice of disturbing their peaceful dinner.

Not that they wanted to disturb but to acquire a selfie with Felix and Krisha.

Understanding Lucia’s gaze, not withholding her aura at all, even a Commander Beast Tamer present, whose minor rank was higher than Lucia, didn’t dare to offend her.

Lucia’s aura was sharp, enough to intimidate the others.

Once Lucia perceived that the crowds settled down their gazes and body movements, she sat down and listened to Krisha and Mia talking to each other while reading the menu.

They sat in the round table, so Krisha and Mia could read the menu by adjusting the space of their seat.

After ten minutes, they finally called the waitress to receive their order.

While waiting for their dishes to be served, Mia brought up again the Apex Live, but before she could finish her sentence, Felix had already come up with a topic to make her forget about it.

As he did so, he cursed Arlo in his mind.

Thankfully, Krisha was able distract Mia with her own topic.

Felix didn’t join in their conversation. He quietly took out his phone and began chatting with his parents.

He learned that once his parents returned to the apartment room, the apartment owner himself welcomed them, alongside other tenants.

Felix couldn’t restrain himself from chuckling either when he learned that his aunt’s face was difficult to read. She was even more awkward in chatting with them.

Long past the arrogant attitude now, huh? Felix was extremely delighted.

"Big Brother?" Mia adjusted her seat to be closer to her big brother and stretched her neck to attempt reading Felix’s phone, curious about his reaction.

Felix didn’t bother hiding the phone from her and let her read the conversation between him and his mother.

"Aunt?" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

"Mother’s sister. The annoying one, who bullied us."

"What?!" Mia turned towards his big brother and her face turned furious, causing Felix to be amused.

Felix patiently narrated what happened, starting from when he was being bullied after summoning Rain and finally having an unreadable expression once his parents returned, and Mia finally calmed down.

Staring at Mia, who was already fourteen years old but acting less than her age, made him inwardly sigh.

Mia’s personality is the same as before. It’s understandable.

Felix felt it was a pity, but he calmed down after acknowledging that Mia would grow matured and the history of her being in a coma wouldn’t be reflected to her future state.

Hence, he swore to take care of his younger sister until he could make his parents retire and live in a better house.

Soon, Mia was again engaged in a conversation with Krisha until the dishes arrived.

When Mia tasted the dishes, she gasped in astonishment, almost shouting how delicious it was. The waitress herself stepped forward, bowed, and thanked Mia for her compliment on behalf of the chef.

Mia’s reaction was also captured in a video, who’d soon grow viral out of her adorableness that captured the heart of the many, especially knowing her history.

Felix didn’t scold Mia for acting a bit extreme. He enjoyed her reaction every bit.

They continued to eat in silence until they finished dinner.

They returned to the blue sedan and Lucia drove Felix and Mia to their home in the residential district.

After knowing they would return to their home, Mia was saddened that she almost cried because they would part ways with Krisha soon.

Krisha hugged her tightly and comforted her, saying, "We’ll be seeing each other tomorrow."

Felix was stunned. He turned towards Krisha and thought she was lying to her.

Krisha giggled and said, "Father had just messaged me to tell you that you and your family are required to attend to his office tomorrow. It doesn’t matter about the time. Doctor Eleanor is required, as well."

Felix nodded and didn’t need to ask for the reason.

The mayor should already be aware about Mia being cured from the Sleeping Hollow Disease.

Felix smiled. He hoped that it would be a national contribution involving with credits as rewards. That way, he’d finally repay the mayor.

Furthermore, the thought of finally entering the one and only transit vessel of the Chambers City excited him.

He believed that only the wealthy could afford the seat and even then a single seat couldn’t be bought by money—there were many documents and had to apply for it just to obtain a single seat.

After all, the transit vessel was private use, not for public.

After hours of traveling, with the blue sedan more lively with Mia and Krisha incessantly chatting with each other, they finally arrived on the apartment.

Seeing the blue sedan made the people walking passed by stopped on their tracks. A blue sedan was undoubtedly a luxurious car. For those knowledgeable about it, they would know that there was only one person in the entire city who owned a blue sedan.

Unfortunately, not everyone present was aware of it.

The door opened and the familiar face of Felix went out of the blue sedan, waiting for Mia to follow him.

It took a minute for Mia and Krisha to bid farewell with each other. Krisha also wanted to greet Felix’s parents, but Felix had said they were still out for work yet.

That was what his parents had said.

Felix and Mia watched the blue sedan outside of the gate leaving while the latter was waving her hand enthusiastically.

Felix simply smiled and watched, knowing they would still see each other soon anyway.

Once the blue sedan was out of sight, Felix and Mia turned around and finally opened the gate.

To their surprise, there was a group of people, welcoming them with applause that were difficult to understand.

Felix saw his Sarah and heard her shouting "Welcome back!" not only to him but to Mia, while his father’s voice could barely be heard. But his smile was more than enough for Felix to smile, as well.

Felix swept his gaze and saw the other tenants. He felt happier when he saw his aunt blending among the crowd, forcing a smile on her face while shouting without voice.

Felix’s gaze lingered on her until she noticed it and seemed to have lost the forced smile on her face. He glanced at her husband and didn’t linger long before returning his eyes to his mother.

He thought. That bitch might have been forced by her husband.

Felix wished he could curse her right to her face, but the consequences would be dire.

Suddenly, he felt a grip on his wrist and glanced at Mia, who was smiling but awkward, seemingly feeling anxious by the crowd in front of her.

Felix said in a soothing voice, "It’s fine. They are welcoming us. Do you still remember this place?"

Mia nodded. "Yeah..."

Her voice trailed off.

Felix chuckled and slowly pulled his hand away from her intense grip and immediately grabbed her shoulder to calm her down.

Mia felt safe under her big brother’s embrace. She felt the arm was pushing her forward. With her big brother, she didn’t feel anxious anymore and slowly walked towards his parents.

The tenants including the landlord and his wife quieted down. They perceived how anxious Mia was due to their surprise, so they slowly pulled back, giving space for Mia’s parents.

Mia felt even more safe from the space she was given to hug his parents. Clinging to his father after hugging his mother, the landlord stepped forward and faced Felix.

Felix smile politely at him as the landlord said, "Congratulations, Felix! You made us proud. You’re the youngest Commander Beast Tamer in the history of the humanity."

His voice raised when he said the last sentence.

Even Felix was stunned. Only now he realized that he was indeed the youngest Commander Beast Tamer in the history.

The youngest to achieve it, as far as he remembered, was Malik Clark II, the second Monarch Beast Tamer in the Clark City.

He reached the Commander rank at the age of 21.

Now, Felix attained the Commander rank in a single month. Truly, a beast tamer with bright future.

The tenants also praised and congratulated Felix, with some asking for a selfie and signature with him.

Felix didn’t deny them and politely gave what they asked for. He responded to each of them, except his aunt.

Not to make it awkward after ignoring her, he talked with his parents until the landlord stepped in when their topic ended.

He said, "Sarah and Noah. Due to your son’s accomplishment, I will be giving a hundred percent discount to your apartment unit."

The tenants exploded into thunderous applause and congratulated the couple.
