A new race of intelligent beings but also having a strict hierarchy but the most unnerving thing is that there is a player controlling or commanding all of them. This player is different from the others as she has a more humanoid face compared to the other Myrmekes. It is very clear that this player is already a seasoned one.

What Levin Cloud fears is that he has no information on the player before her. This player has the same body shape as that of a female Myrmekes but it is clear that she is more powerful than the Elite Soldier Myrmekes. Levin Cloud could guess that she might be higher in the hierarchy because she commands all of them and her body is essentially more compact.

The Myrmekes player might look like she is weak but the aura coming off from her body is not normal. Even Levin Cloud could easily say that she is already a demigod level player. She might even be a Royal Guard Myrmekes if Levin Cloud is to guess because he can detect a being with immense vitality inside the hole leading to the colony.

"The Myrmekes Queen should be in that colony as I can detect her life force from here but that uneasy feeling is still here. What kind of energy is that? It makes even my own divine energy shiver in fear as if it comes from a being that even the divine is afraid of." Levin Cloud though as there was another sinister presence inside that colony.

He also sensed a trace of that sinister being’s aura from the Myrmekes player but it is not from her body. He sensed that sinister aura from the weapons that the Myrmekes player is carrying. Levin Cloud could not believe it but there is a player that is holding a Transcendent Tier weapon before him. Even his own weapon that is a growth type is still stuck at Mythical Tier because it is incredibly difficult to awaken weapons to Transcendent Tier.

"No matter. I should test them out first." Levin Cloud stated as he once again manually controlled the roots.

The Myrmekes that were harvesting the roots of the world tree suddenly got shocked as the roots they were harvesting have suddenly come alive. The roots that were not treated by the special potion that they have suddenly retaliated and crushed any Myrmekes that they passed through. The Myrmekes did not panic because the absolute control of the Myrmekes player overridden their fear.

All of the Myrmekes formed groups that blocked the powerful roots of the world tree that Levin Cloud controlled. It is not just that but more and more of the Myrmekes poured out from the entrance of their colony as they needed to defend it. This entrance is the closest to their queen which means that this should be defended no matter the cost.

"FOUND YOU!" A teasing female voice stated as a red spear shaped like a stinger suddenly flew towards the direction where Levin Cloud was hiding.

Levin Cloud wanted to be confident and say that the roots will definitely save him but that is only wishful thinking at this point. The weapon that was hurled towards him is a Transcendent Tier weapon that also is empowered by this sinister aura. Levin Cloud did not want to use the world tree as a shield as well since that would not be good for him.

"I need to block it myself." Levin Cloud stated as he instantly shifted to his true form.

A large hand that looked like a trunk of a tree suddenly emerged from one of the thicker roots. The wooden hand blocked the incoming red stinger spear. He made sure that he will not let the roots of the world tree be damaged by that attack but he is shocked because the red stinger spear passed through his large sturdy hands. The spear even pierced his hand and struck the large root that was hiding him.

The red stinger spear struck the large root and it instantly got cracks. The red stinger spear is not just strong but it actually has far more corrosive power than the potion that was being used earlier. The sinister aura even negated the thick and sturdy parts of the world tree as if it has the power to destroy it completely.

"Why not show yourself instead of hiding like a rat?" The Myrmekes Player stated as she already detected Levin Cloud as soon as he tried to kill them.

The Myrmekes Player might not have detected Levin Cloud if he stayed observing but that is only if he stays that way. As soon as killing intent was released from a certain direction, the Myrmekes Player’s senses suddenly heightened to an incredible degree. Her eyes also magnified her ability to see mana and Levin Cloud has a strange one which is why she already found out about him.

"Who are you?" Levin Cloud stated as he emerged from the root that is dying.

"Ah! So you are that Levin Cloud player. I guess your race can traverse any plant life but to think that you detected me here. Then again, I am much stronger than you plus I have an army at my command. If it was that Equinox fellow then I might have tried to flee but it seems that our little healer is alone." The Myrmekes Player stated.

"Seeing that you do not have any other reinforcements means that I have a great chance of killing you. I always loved killing the supports first as teams usually become very hopeless once that is done." The Myrmekes Player stated as she suddenly moved her body like a jolt and vanished from her location.

The Myrmekes Player is not playing as she is indeed killing Levin Cloud because he has already seen their operation. This plan should have been flawless because there is a great threat from above which requires the attention of everyone. The roots of the world tree should not have been made aware of their existence as they are using the presence warding of who they call the Great One.

"Did you really think that I will lose to you just because I do not have reinforcements? I think this ant needs to remember that you are in my domain now." Levin Cloud stated as his face grew cold and his control over the world tree went into overdrive.

Usually, Levin Cloud would just control the roots to attack indiscriminately. This time he cannot do that as he needed to fine tune the attack. He also gained full access as if the world tree recognized his will to protect it. The roots that should just be thick parts of wood suddenly took shape to form hands.

The root hands tried to grab at the Myrmekes Player but she was too quick to be caught. Levin Cloud then detected a threat behind him as the red stinger spear suddenly flew backwards. He evaded the red stinger spear initially but the Myrmekes Player has already reached his location. Without even having time to evade, the Myrmekes Player stabbed her spear at Levin Cloud’s chest without any hesitation.

"Die, quietly." The Myrmekes Player stated as she believed that she has killed Levin Cloud but her face changed when a notification did not pop up.

The Myrmekes Player is dumbfounded as she stabbed the Leshy right at the center of the chest where the wood heart should be. It should have made the current vessel of a tree spirit like Levin Cloud to crumble. She knows of this as she made sure to research on the Faekin race because they would soon go to war after all.

The Myrmekes Player did not make a mistake and she really would have stabbed Levin Cloud if that woody body that emerge is actually him. What the Myrmekes Player did not know is that gaining full access to the world tree is not just have the power to control it but it means total control. It means that the world tree itself is now acting as a domain for Levin Cloud.

The most terrifying thing is that a Faekin of the Forest Guardian species has great compatibility with forests. It is said that one should never fight them in a forest as that would just solidify their win. The Myrmekes Player believed that Levin Cloud would be weakened because he is not in a forest and this is underground.

The Myrmekes Player believed that only races that live underground like her race would be empowered here but she made one fatal mistake. To the Forest Guardians, anything can be considered a forest as along as a world tree is planted in that area. The world tree is considered as a forest itself even if it is down to the roots.
