Reborn for Revenge: I Married A Billionaire
Chapter 43- Jealous
"Three days!" Sienna raised three fingers to Lina’s face, "I remained dead for three days."
Lina pushed rice crackers into her mouth, "Yeah. And something is seriously wrong with your contract husband," Her voice dropped to a whisper when she said the last two words.
"Can you stop munching that when you know I’m on a strict diet?" Sienna’s eyes kept roaming over the glossy wrapper in Lina’s hand.
Hunter had been quite strict about her diet. No junk. No outside food. No packaged food. Until her foot wouldn’t heal.
Lina brushed her off with the wave of her hand, "Your husband... he didn’t let me stay for a single night. He wanted to do everything... like every fu*cking thing," Lina finished with a teasing glint in her eyes.
"He would lie beside you, make you soups, bark orders at Brian. Then suddenly he wanted a washcloth to wipe your face. Guess what he used to do when he had nothing to do?" She paused dramatically.
Hunter used to make soups for me? Sienna thought, trying to stifle her yawn. Deep down, she still felt weak, "Umm— watch the news? Politicians’ interviews?"
"Nah!" Lina shook her head and crumbled the empty wrapper in her palm, "He would check your face if your nose was still intact there."
"Wait. What?" Sienna seemed a little taken aback.
"I mean... why would he stare at your face, sitting beside you all day," Lina shrugged, "Except he wanted to see if any of your facial feature is missing... ouch!" Lina trailed off when Sienna hit her with the pillow.
"Don’t be a bitch," Sienna secretly moved a small cracker pack under her pillow. Right now, Lina wasn’t in the mood to be her friend.
She was agreeing with everything Hunter was uttering.
"Time to go," Lina suddenly got up from Sienna’s bed, "I’ll come again in the evening."
"To do what exactly. Eat this crap in front of me? No thanks."
Lina rolled her eyes and gave a playful punch on Sia’s shoulder, "I saw what you hid under that pillow. But don’t worry. I won’t tell him."
She winked before turning on her heels.
Sienna already wanted to go back to sleep. The simple chore of taking a shower had made her tired.
Though Lina offered to help her. She even suggested that Sienna let Hunter take her to the bathroom, but Sienna declined the offer and smacked another pillow at her.
She reached over to her nightstand and rang the bell. Hunter placed it so that she could easily ask for help.
"Yes?" Hunter was in the doorway in an instant. Sienna raised her arms like a baby.
"Can you take me to the living room? Please?"
"At your service, ma’am," He mumbled, heading towards her.
After settling her on the living room couch, he handed her the remote. Ever since she fell sick, she hadn’t seen him working on his laptop.
She did try to probe him about his work, but he changed the topic, making her more curious about him.
"What is it?" she asked Brian, who was placing a plate on the table.
"Baked apples with cinnamon. Easy on the stomach," When she tried to argue, he quickly said, "On the doctor’s recommendation."
He swore that if he would take Hunter’s name, Ma’am Sienna could kill his employer on the spot. The woman already cut her father’s leg and then beaten a man nearly to death.
Thankfully, Sienna didn’t offer any more resistance.

She spent a week at home without reaching out to a single employee. Hunter assured her that everything was going well in her absence.
He was taking very good care of Mason Traders.
He just got off the call with the new lawyer whom he hired in Sienna’s absence.
"Your father..." His expression was unreadable as he lowered the phone slowly, "I’ve got solid news that he’s taking help from Tom. He might be planning to either sell the company or do a partnership with his other son-in-law."
Sienna’s hand stopped midway while scrolling her phone, "Why am I not surprised? I had my doubts."
Hunter nodded, a deep frown settling on his face as he replayed the lawyer’s words in his mind.
"Hunter," Sienna cleared her throat, "Mason Traders is in my name now. Can they do something against it when I’m the owner?"
Hunter chewed his inner cheek, staring at the living room wall, "Here is the thing... The name is still registered under your father’s name. Initially, he was shocked and was too busy crying over his missing leg. If he has asked Tom for help, then our company might be at risk."
Sienna liked the sound of it.
Hunter said Our company. Not your company.
"What should we do?" She moved her leg a little to avoid the rigidity, "We can’t just hand over the company to him."
Another thing she liked about Hunter. He never asked about her issues with her father. Nor did he question her decisions regarding Mason Traders.
"That’s what we were discussing on the phone," Hunter got up and placed a soft cushion under her foot, "Our lawyer, Mr. Burraq. He says we do have one solution to all our fears."
Sienna raised one shoulder, "And that is?"
A smirk formed on Hunter’s face. The one you see when a predator spots its prey.
His face darkened for an instant as he shook his head, "We need to come up with a new name."
Sienna sat still for a moment, "New name?"
Hunter nodded with a sigh, "Yeah. Can you come up with a name?"
Sienna thought for a moment and then bobbed her head, "You?"
"Sienna Developers?" he suggested, but Sienna gave him a skeptical look, shaking her head.
Hunter’s brows knitted slightly, "Anything else on your mind?"
Sienna closed her eyes, feeling his gaze on her face, "How about Siahun?"
He wasn’t expecting it. He blinked, not knowing how to respond, "Siahun?"
"Yeah," She chuckled, "Mixture of Sia and Hunter! How cool!"
Hunter looked away and cleared his throat, "We are not ... really married... Right?"
"I know, Hunter," She moved her leg to place it on the table ahead, "If we ever get a divorce, I can always change it to something else. For now, it looks cool. My sister will be hell jealous. Ha-ha."
So, she is trying to make Ruby jealous. Hunter shook his head in faint disbelief, a hint of a smile tugged at his lips.
