Chapter 394: Chapter 394 - Vampire Attack(Part 20)

"Hm? My, how foolish...to approach me so casually, it’s quite the suicidal move. You should have opted to try a sneak attack and catch me off-guard...well, not that it would have worked, of course."

"Wow, you sure are cocky for a clone, aren’t you?" I responded dryly.

"Perhaps the fear has caused you to lose your sanity...what a shame. Allow me to put you out of your misery!" Exclaimed the Vampire, before she shot towards me with a smile.

"By all means, give it a try...Heretic Spell: Black Hole," I chanted, forming a black hole about ten meters in front of myself as she entered that range.

She quickly came to an abrupt halt as her right arm got caught in the dark mass and flapped her wings powerfully, before I swiftly shut off the Spell, tearing off her right arm.

Blood gushed out and splattered across the ground before her arm began regenerating, as I took aim and fired off a barrage of various Elemental Spells at her.

She swiftly flew up to evade the attacks before rapidly swooping down towards me, veering across sharply as I formed another black hole in front of her, narrowly evading it as I quickly dropped down into my shadow as she began to close in on me.

She came to a stop above the ground, hovering in the air while looking around...I then swiftly emerged from the shadow of a building and fired out a rapid beam of plasma towards her, grazing her side as she swiftly flew across.

I then dropped back into the shadows as she began to fly over this way, before halting and flying up higher into the air while keeping a wary eye out.

What the fuck is with her, she’s still smiling...talk about creepy.

As she continued to look around, I moved below her and emerged from her shadow on the ground, firing off a massive blast of lightning straight up towards her.

She quickly flew across, her body stiffening up as my lightning grazed her left foot and electrocuted her, before I formed a black hole to drag her down.

She flapped her wings rapidly and zipped across to get out of the pulling force of my Spell, before I swiftly chanted and unleashed my Soul Weapon Ascension, firing out a massive blast of smoke around me.

The smoke obscured me as it billowed out and spread across the surrounding area, a cough echoing out as she inhaled the smoke.

"Hm? Is this some sort of narcotic? What an unusual ability...but it will not work. My regeneration negates such effects, this smoke will not be enough to-...," She began with that creepy smile, before trailing off as a deep slash appeared across her torso, as I took control of a mass of smoke in front of her and launched it towards her in the form of a rapid slashing wave.

"Are you sure about that?" I inquired coldly, before firing out a cloud of explosive smoke around her and flicking a spark of flames forward.

A deafening explosion rang out as the smoke around her ignited fiercely, blowing her away and sending her hurtling through the air before she spread out her wings to bring herself to a halt and flew up as fast as she could.

"Trying to escape the smoke, huh? Yeah, that’s the logical move...but I think you’ll find that that’s easier said than done," I remarked, before grabbing her ankles with my smoke and yanking her back down, a pop echoing out as I dislocated one of her feet. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

My Soul Weapon Ascension burns through my Mana like crazy, I can’t keep it up for very long...I’ll need to wrap this up quickly.

As I slammed her onto the ground, I turned my entire body to smoke and floated down towards her.

I closed in on her as she began to get back onto her feet, before forcing the smoke that made up my right arm through the pores around the middle of her torso, flowing into her body before swiftly solidifying my arm as she began to move away, a sharp gasp echoing out as my arm burst through the middle of her body and shattered her core to pieces.

I grimaced as twinges of pain erupted across my forearm, before I turned it to smoke again and pulled it back out, blood gushing out of the cavity I’d inflicted through the middle of her body as I stepped back and re-materialized.

"Wh-what...?" She uttered shakily as trails of blood ran down the corners of her mouth, which was still twisted up in a creepy smile.

Huh, maybe her mouth is just stuck in a permanent smile, like this is just her natural expression.

"It’s over. Tell me, how does it feel? To have been defeated by an ordinary human? Not to mention, you didn’t inflict so much as a single scratch on me," I stated tauntingly, healijg my arm as all the smoke I’d unleashed began to fade away.

"You are indeed formidable...however, my original and the other Elder Vampires will not be so easily felled," She replied with a smile.

"Yeah, unlike you, their cores are smaller, more durable, and they move it anywhere in their bodies. Still, that aside, based on what I know, you’re just as strong as your original is...and I’m not even close to being the strongest person in Arcadia. So, I’m not too worried, we-...," I responded, before trailing off as she suddenly fell apart, turning into a mass of blood and hitting the ground with a splat.

Well, that was easier than I thought it’d be...
