Chapter 403: Chapter 403 - Vampire Attack(Part 29)

Point-of-View: Argent Stryker

I strained myself desperately to try and get back up, but it was no use, the toll of my Limit Breaker Skill had rendered me immobile, I couldn’t so much as lift a single finger.

The Vampire then slashed her legs off, extending out more blood tendrils and clamping then around the stumps left of her limbs, blocking her regeneration before unleashing a barrage of rapid thrusts of his claws, puncturing her torso repeatedly.

"All I need is a single hit on your core, and it’s only a matter of time before I hit it!" He exclaimed, before tilting his head across as Izzy fired out a lightning bolt from her mouth, evading it before wrapping a blood tendril around her head.

I then gritted my teeth, relaxing my body and focusing on channeling my Mana...if I can’t physically move, I’ll have to use another way to move!

As he continued stabbing her body with his claws, I unleashed a pressurized blast of flames from my back to launch myself into the air, before blasting myself towards them as fast as I could.

As the Vampire drove his claws towards her, his gaze shifted towards me as I closed in and slammed my shoulder against Izzy’s, knocking her out of the way before letting out a sharp gasp of pain as his claws plunged into the middle of my chest, triggering a wave of excruciating pain as I coughed out blood with an agonized wheeze.

"A-Argent...NOOO!!!" Exclaimed Izzy in horror, as the Vampire violently pulled his claws back out with a sharp twist, a shudder of pain erupting across my body.

Streaks of blood flew out of the wound as I plummeted back down, before crashing onto the ground, struggling to breath as blood poured out of the hole in my chest.

D-damn it, this really-...hm?

I then turned my gaze up as a bright flash of purple burst out above me, followed by a deep, menacing growl.

My eyes widened as I realized what was happening, as my gaze fell onto Izzy, an immense mass of purple energy flowing out of her right eye...looks like her full power has been unleashed.

I then shakily reached up, wincing as I placed my palm on the middle of my chest, before gritting my teeth and unleashing a burst of flames, gasping sharply as I seared the wound shut to stem the bleeding, my vision blurring and darkening as I felt myself starting to black out.

D-damn it, I...I can’t keep my eyes open. And while I...I’ve stopped the bleeding, I...this is...still...a fatal wound. Everything’s...going...dark...

Point-of-View: Azriel

Hm? What is this? What’s going on? What is this power? No, it doesn’t matter...she still isn’t going to stand a chance against m-...

Suddenly, I found myself getting sent hurtling back through the air, before my back slammed onto the barrier with a jarring thud, letting out a sharp gasp.

Wh-what just happened? I saw a flash of purple through my Future Sight, and the next time I knew, I-I was-...no, impossible. Did she just...move faster than my Future Sight could keep up with?

That...that can’t be. It isn’t possible, this is-...my eyes then widened as she suddenly appeared right before me, before I quickly flew across as she drove her fist towards me, slamming onto the middle of my left arm, a loud crunch echoing out as she shattered the bones, streaks of blood spraying out as she smashed that spot flat.

I sliced through my bicep to sever my arm and began to fly away, before coming to an abrupt halt as she grabbed my right ankle, letting out a feral roar before unleashing a blast of flames from her hand, setting my foot ablaze.

I quickly slashed through my calf to sever the lower part of my leg before the flames could spread up, before her fist slammed onto the middle of my face, smashing my nose in and knocking out several teeth as I found myself plummeting down at an alarming speed, a deafening crash ringing out as I crashed onto the ground with a sharp gasp, deep cracks spreading out across the dirt below me.

I then quickly rolled out of the way as she swooped down towards me, slamming her feet onto the ground as I just barely got out of the way in time, before she fired out a concentrated bolt of lightning at me, my body stiffening up as it grazed my side before I could evade it in time.

I-it’s not just her physical speed, her attacks are faster as well. This shouldn’t be possible...I’m at my full power, how is she so much faster and stronger than I am!? What the hell is this power!? That black, bone-like layer over her right eye has widened, and an immense amount of that strange purple energy is flowing out. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

I then flew back as she shot towards me with immense speed, closing in and grabbing the side of my head before I could react, driving me forward as she tightened her grip, cracks spreading out across my skull before the other side of my head slammed against the barrier painfully, my skull splitting open and blood pouring out.

She then let go and drew back her fist, blue flames erupting around it and swirling violently before she drove it towards me.

I rolled out of the way as fast as I could, her fist slamming onto the side of the barrier...before my eyes widened in disbelief as cracks spread out from the point of impact.

N-no, it can’t be...this barrier is supposed to be unbreakable, we tested it out to make sure, even Lord Dracula couldn’t damage it! What...what the hell is she!?
