It’s just for their own safety, having some friends with superpowers felt like a great choice.

Afterall, no one knows how many portals are gonna appear in the future and bring unknown dangerous alien life forms.

Since he doesn’t have any idea about the future, sticking together with superpower people appeared the best choice to him.

His mother moved away after drying his hair, Victor opened his blue ocean- like eyes, and asked glancing at Liza. " Are they showing on the news channel?"

"Not yet, and if the government decides to cover this up, we won’t see it on TV at all." Liza replied, then hearing footsteps she glanced toward her left.

Alice walked out from the kitchen, carrying a tray loaded with four glasses.

She placed the tray on the table, in front of Liza and picked a one glass of chocolate shake and handed it over to Victor."Thank you, Sister Alice," He said with a happy smile.

Alice ruffled his soft hairs. "Hahaha, My well mannered, Sweety."

Liza picked her own chocolate shake and said after taking a sip. "Just pretendIng to get more delicacies."

"I don’t need to pretend anything, hum!." Victor said and began to drink.

Alice took the third glass and sat next to Liza.

She sipped strawberry milk shake. "I also want super ability," She muttered to herself, but it’s clear she’s telling them."

Elizabeth while walking to them heard her.

"I can send someone to catch those creatures. But you have to kill it." Elizabeth said as she sat next to Alice and took a last glass of strawberry shake. "

"Why didn’t you guys bring me with you?" Alice Champlain. if they had brought her with them to victor school, maybe she had gained superpowers too.

"You’re being childish." Elizabeth give final words before ignoring her.

Liza laughed at their argument.

"Sister Alice, I want more." Victor said, placing empty glass on the table.

"um, Sure sweety," Alice stood up. " Hump!," and pouted at Elizabeth before walking to the kitchen.

Elizabeth looked at her sister who’s grinning.

"What’re you laughing, sis? It’s all your fault." Elizabeth grumbled."If you didn’t tell her I broke the orb, she wouldn’t be blaming me."

"Well, I only tell the truth." Liza said, throwing the remote aside and picking her novel.

"Half truth, orb was useless since it lost its shine." Elizabeth knows her sister is just messing with them for some kind of fun.

Liza shrugged. " How do you know? we didn’t test it."

"I just know.." Elizabeth said, knowing herself it was stupid thing to do.

Alice came back carrying a Jug. Walking to Victor and Liza she filled their glass.

Then placed Jug on the table, she picked a remote from her seat and she sat back on her spot.

Elizabeth felt her phone vibrate in her hand. She swiped the screen.

While, Victor glanced at his status screen.

Why didn’t it show that? Victor thought, then shrugged it off, he wasn’t going to use that anyway.

He gained two abilities. Freeze and Eye of Destiny.’

Eye of destiny, he already saw what it looked like. It was activated in the school, its own, when that boy walked to them saying that orb was his.

This skill is a golden status screen which showed him that boy’s name, Varun, name of his ability dragenoid, special trait, heavenly chosen one and the last part destined enemy.

He is still thinking how he got a destined enemy for no reason.

Did I kill his lover or something in my last life? No, I didn’t kill anyone, maybe in the future?

Anyway, unlike his first one, his second skill is very simple; it can freeze anyone for 5 seconds, not in ice, it’s like freezing time.

This ability works on both a single target or group.

Limitation: he must know who the target is— well, if a person is standing in front of him, then skill will work.

But, after using it once, it goes on a cooldown period for 15 minutes and it only works below divine beings.

He gazes at three ladies drinking with straws, while doing different things, Liza reading a novel.

His mother was scrolling through her mobile phone, Alice also glancing at his mother’s phone .

"Sister Liza, what’s a destined enemy?." He asked.

"A character." Liza replied, slowly, unbothered Without looking up from her novel,

"No!, I have destined enemie... My ability told me that," Victor said, placing an empty glass on the table. "That guy in the school, who was asking for orb. Is my destiny enemy?."

Liza raise brows. "Your, Eyes of destiny, ability?’’

"Yeah," he nodded.

Victor really wasn’t sure what to do? He doesn’t want to harm strangers for no reason. But even if he tried he is afraid that Heaven might do something.

But, he also doesn’t want to leave him alone either, he can’t risk it even a little, he has so many things to lose, he really doesn’t want anything to go bad.

Elizabeth stood up from her seat and after walking to him, bent down and hugged him, with a single glance she can tell her baby angel is scared of something.

"My baby Angle, you should have told me earlier. If something is worrying you, I would have already taken care of it."
