Rise Of The Hoarder
Chapter 451: A Decisive Battle
~BOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!~
The Demon God’s massive form hurtled toward Jeremy with terrifying speed, the force of his attack shattering the very air around him.
The ground beneath them quaked, cracks splintering outward from the impact as the Demon God unleashed his fury.
It was clear that the battle was going to be tough one for both parties.
But Jeremy was prepared for the outcome. He had actually hoped that the demon god would do something rash like that and he wasn’t disappointed.
In an instant, he sidestepped the colossal strike, his movements fluid and precise.
The Demon God’s fist crashed into the ground where Jeremy had stood, sending a shockwave through the throne room and obliterating everything in its path.
~BOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!~
The ancient stone floor erupted, sending jagged shards flying through the air.
As the debris settled, Jeremy straightened, his eyes locking onto the Demon God with an intensity that sent a shiver through the ancient ruler’s spine.
"You made your choice," Jeremy said, his voice cold and resolute. "Now, you’ll face the consequences."
Without hesitation, Jeremy summoned his divine blade once more, the weapon gleaming with an otherworldly light that cut through the darkness of the throne room.
~SWISHHHH!~
~CRACKK!!~
~BOOMMMM!!!~
He raised the blade high, the energy within it crackling and surging, ready to unleash devastation.
What happened next was anyone’s guess.
The Demon God, realizing the gravity of his mistake, roared in defiance.
"Get ready to be defeated, let’s see how you handle this."
With a huge bellow, he summoned his Generals, the most powerful of his demonic commanders, to his side.
They materialized from the shadows, their forms twisted and monstrous, their eyes glowing with malevolent intent.
They surveyed the area that they were in with their beady eyes which eventually came to rest on Jeremy.
Each wielded weapons forged in the deepest pits of the Demon Realm, their power rivaling that of lesser gods.
But Jeremy remained undeterred.
With a single, swift motion, he brought his blade down, unleashing a torrent of energy that tore through the throne room like a tidal wave.
The Generals barely had time to react before the wave of divine power crashed into them, obliterating their defenses and cutting through their dark forms as if they were nothing.
The Demon God’s eyes widened in horror as he watched his Generals fall, their bodies disintegrating into nothingness, their Inverse Essence—the dark, twisted energy that fueled their existence—drifting through the air like wisps of smoke.
Jeremy moved with purpose, his blade carving through the battlefield with deadly precision.
He was unstoppable and the way he moved was second to none.
The Demon God, driven to desperation, unleashed his own dark magic, filling the room with tendrils of shadow and fire. But Jeremy was relentless.
He cut through the darkness, his blade a beacon of light and power, his strikes fueled by the full force of his Singularity.
As the last of the Generals fell, their Inverse Essence swirling around him, Jeremy paused, his gaze fixed on the Demon God.
"This is your end," he declared, his voice echoing through the shattered throne room.
The Demon God, weakened and cornered, bared his teeth in a final show of defiance.
"You may destroy me," he hissed, his voice laced with venom, "but you will never conquer the darkness that lies within this realm!"
Jeremy’s eyes blazed with determination. "The darkness is mine to command."
With that, he thrust his blade forward, piercing the Demon God’s chest.
UGHHH—
The weapon sank deep, its divine energy surging into the Demon God’s body, overwhelming him with a power he had never encountered before.
He couldn’t understand why his body was failing him no matter how he tried to get it to work.
The Demon God’s roar of pain reverberated through the palace, a sound filled with both fury and despair.
As Jeremy held his blade steady, the Inverse Essence began to flow from the Demon God’s body, a dark, swirling mist that seemed to pulse with a life of its own.
The essence coiled around Jeremy, drawn to him, merging with the energy that already coursed through his veins.
The Demon God’s form began to waver, his once-mighty presence dwindling as the essence was drained from him.
"I will kill you, you hear me? I WILL END YOU!"
"Sorry I can’t hear you over the sound of you dying," Jeremy laughed loudly at the whining of the god.
His fiery eyes dimmed, and the immense power that had once radiated from him faded into nothingness.
With a final, gasping breath, the Demon God collapsed to the ground, his body disintegrating into ash.
Jeremy stood over the fallen ruler, his divine blade still glowing with the absorbed Inverse Essence.
He could feel the power surging within him, the dark energy intertwining with his own, enhancing his strength, expanding his awareness.
He had claimed the Demon God’s essence, and with it, the power of the throne.
Sariel approached cautiously, her wings folded, her expression one of both awe and concern.
"You’ve done it," she said quietly, her voice carrying a mix of reverence and trepidation.
Jeremy nodded, his gaze still fixed on the spot where the Demon God had fallen. "Yes," he replied, his voice distant. "But this is only the beginning."
The throne room was silent now, the once-majestic space reduced to ruins, the air thick with the remnants of dark energy.
Jeremy turned away from the destruction, his mind already moving beyond this victory, to the challenges that lay ahead.
He had taken the first step in his conquest, but the true battle was still to come.
The Administrators would soon learn of his actions, and when they did, they would come for him. But Jeremy was ready.
With the power of the Demon God and his Generals now coursing through him, he was more than a mere mortal, more than a Singularity.
He was a force to be reckoned with, a being who would reshape the very fabric of reality to his will.
And nothing—no agreement, no Administrator—would stand in his way.
