Head Harold was surprised that Jeremy Night had picked new skills. When he asked about the technique, he appreciated Jeremy Night’s selection.

Both skills can be used in any tier. They are strong, but they have drawbacks as well. They don’t have further moves.

It’s up to the Beast Tamers how they use the skills. Mostly, Beast Tamers avoid learning such skills because they are used to commanding their lifeline beasts.

They don’t learn the skills themselves. But he knew Jeremy Night’s situation. He then discussed a few other things with the elder before ending the call.

Days passed.

Jeremy Night started practicing the new techniques. His Supreme Combat Body talent came into effect.

His supreme comprehension helped him to understand the new techniques. He completely memorized them.

Since then, he started practicing the Shadow Slash and Feather Steps. Because of his talent, he was able to execute the techniques quickly.

Once he had executed the techniques numerous times, he thought of going to the wilderness.

So, he would go to the wilderness next.

The next morning,

He entered the wilderness. He followed the usual route to go to the outer and inner areas. He came across corrupted beasts in the outer area.

He ignored the lower-tier beasts. But when he reached the inner area, he came across Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.

Like in the outer area, he ignored the beasts. The beasts here were hybrid dog beasts.

But to his surprise, the Tier-4 hybrid dogs targeted him.

There were five Tier-4 hybrid dogs. They growled while charging at him.

Jeremy Night unsheathed his blade. He didn’t cover the blade in starlight power. He was going to use the Shadow Slash.

Swoosh!

One of the hybrid dog beasts leaped at him. Jeremy Night didn’t use his eye power.

When the beast got closer, he didn’t move. Instead, he used a blade move.

"Shadow Slash!"

Jeremy Night gripped the blade with perfect control. The next second, he drew the blade fast and swung it at the beast.

Puchak!

The blade slit the neck of the beast in a flash. It happened so fast. The other beasts charged at him.

Slash!

He used the same move against the remaining four dog beasts.

Puchak!

In the blink of an eye, he decapitated the dog beasts. The headless bodies dropped dead on the ground.

All the hybrid dog beasts lay dead on the ground.

He found that he had killed the beasts in a very short time. It was faster than his basic moves. The Shadow Slash was indeed useful.

He then collected his thoughts and started roaming around the area. He came across another battlefield.

He found hyenas scavenging corpses.

His arrival drew attention from the beasts. They saw him and began to charge at him. The strength of these beasts was between Tier-4 and Tier-5.

There were more than ten hyenas here.

"Feather Steps!"

He used the movement method. He felt lightweight, just like a feather. He moved sideways to attack the beasts.

"Shadow Slash!"

He swung the blade at a hyena. The blade appeared silently before the beast and severed its head.

Like that, he used the Feather Steps to attack the rest of the beasts. He moved with light steps and was able to change directions easily.

The blade in his hand moved fast to reap the lives of the corrupted beasts.

Puchak!

One after another, the heads were decapitated. Blood gushed out like a torrential rain. The bodies dropped dead on the ground.

When he had killed half of them, the remaining beasts fled from the area. Seeing that, a smile revealed itself on his face.

He had practiced the Shadow Slash many times in the past few days, so he was familiar with the single-draw slash. Then, he continued on his journey.

Airport

A special flight touched down at the airport. When the flight came to a halt, the passengers started leaving.

Elder John from the special base exited the flight as well. He looked around the area. It was not his first time here.

He had visited important places before. Soon, he went through airport security before walking out of the airport.

He then approached a cab driver. When he asked about the Red Moon Chamber, the driver knew the place. He agreed to drop him off.

20 minutes later,

Elder John stood in front of the building. The driver left. John knew it was a new organization.

He then walked into the building. He entered the lobby and swept his gaze across the place. He saw a sitting area and the front office.

There were stairs and an elevator leading to the top floors. Then, he walked up to the front office. There were staff inside.

"I’m from the special base, 4th Zone. I need to see your head," Elder John said.

The staff were taken aback. The elder had appeared so suddenly. One of them greeted Elder John before reporting to Head Harold.

Head Harold was equally taken aback. He immediately told the staff to bring the guest to his room.

A few minutes later,

Elder John was in the office, sitting opposite Head Harold.

Head Harold didn’t know what was going on. He didn’t know why such an important person had come here.

"My name is John. I’m one of the elders at the special base. I know about your contribution, as well as the contribution of the young man who is a Tier-3 Beast Tamer," John said.

"Elder John, don’t mention it. It’s our duty. You didn’t have to pay a visit just for that," Harold said.

"Well, I’m here for another reason. We had casualties. Many of the first-year students have died. The higher-ups in the Human Alliance told us to fill the gap."

"Elder Sandra gave us the task of finding talented Beast Tamers. I told them about the young man. Despite being a Tier-3 Beast Tamer, he fought across Tiers to slay Tier-5 beasts."

"We need such talent in the special base," Elder John said.
