Conveniently enough, the icebergs lured a lot of those shark monsters, so the skellies didn’t have to go too far to fight them. Luke also didn’t have to waste time looking for corpses to use, so he finally was able to get more monsters instead of losing them. Still, it seemed that such a job would take a while... He had to think of how he could improve that situation.

"My first goal was to wipe out all the monsters until the overlords appear, but I suppose it will be hard in this kind of world," Luke thought while furrowing his eyebrows.

Skeletons usually are very weak against water. It was only natural since they were only made of bones. So, hoping that they would do well underwater was a bit too much. Still, Luke had another alternative that would force the overlords of that world to come out and fight Luke, if there was really one.

"Well, things are working now... having some followers would be nice here, but I don’t know if I can find intelligent life underwater," Luke thought. "They wouldn’t do well anywhere else aside from planets like these, and I would guess that this environment is hard to come by."

After checking his status, Luke decided to split his free status points into Intelligence and Strength. He needed more magic power to use Projection and Spatial Magic, after all, and strength was his bread and butter. In any case, his magic powers nearly tripled, so the cost of skills like Projection and Spatial magic decreased. It was quite good to have those skills that didn’t have a determined cost.

Luke decided to do some more tests, and he bought a random claymore. The cost was eight hundred gold coins, so it was a fine investment. After that, he tried to make a copy of the weapon. The weight was a little off, but he felt that it was a pretty decent copy. Unfortunately, he couldn’t sell to the system.

"I suppose I can’t cheat the system..." Luke rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Still, a copy like this only costs one hundred mana points to exist for a full minute. This is... Pretty good."

The shop didn’t sell high-quality weapons, but once he finds them, Luke can make copies of them and use them alongside Weapon Augmentation. As long as he keeps the original, he shouldn’t have a hard time making copies now and then. Still, he wondered why he thought like that when Luke had decided not to rely too much on Weapon Augmentation. After thinking for a while, Luke concluded that it would be fine to use Weapon Augmentation with plan B. As long as he doesn’t rely on it against overlords, it would be fine.

"The real issue is... What will I do if I see myself without any other option?" Luke wondered.

That was a tough question... Luke didn’t want to let his pride get in the way, but if he began to compromise to reach his goals, that would repeat itself again and again. Luke needed to find a way that he wouldn’t fail at reaching everyone and that he would keep his pride intact...

While Luke was thinking about that, many days passed in that new world. Occasionally, he would return to the other worlds and Earth in order to get the accumulated gold coins. Still, even so, he was getting impatient since he didn’t find the answer that he wanted to his questions. He didn’t come up with the skill to find others either, so he was considering looking for one in the shop. While he was thinking about that, he noticed that the amount of experience and gold coins the skeletons were giving him had decreased. He went to check with them and saw them being massacred by who knows how many of those sharks. The number of skeletons had reached the fifty thousand mark. Still, they couldn’t do much when there were hundreds of water tornadoes pulling them to the ocean and destroying the icebergs.

"It seems that there is one overlord here, and the asshole finally made his move," Luke thought and then summoned his katana. "Do you want to play with the terrain? Well then, let’s play with it."

Even from far away, Luke could see the monsters, so he had an easy time freezing them using the power of his sword. Thanks to his boost in magic power, he froze several of them relatively fast. He made an opening in their formation since several water tornadoes stopped.

In the blink of an eye, many other small icebergs emerged, and Luke made them form a single bigger one. Once that happened, he made his death knights jump and land on that one. He was confident that they would be enough to deal with the problems, but Luke didn’t stop there. He had some use for their mana, so he quickly created a massive ice wall and trapped them in that place. Some of the monsters tried to escape, but the walls were sturdy as well, and they only turned into easy targets...
