To make sure that his defenses would be at an appropriate level, Luke wounded himself in his dimension with swords that were enchanted with fire and ice magic. He didn’t forget the image that he saw on that planet, so even though it was mentally exhausting, Luke leveled up his fire and cold Resistance up to a rare rank. It was annoying that his clone couldn’t be the one suffering the damage, but in the middle of that session, Luke made his clone wound him with Fireballs and Ice Arrows. Thus, he learned and obtained all the points until the skills reached the rare rank as well.

"This should be enough for defense, but now for the way, I should attack them... Should I go doing the usual physical attacks?" Luke rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

It shouldn’t be impossible to kill the fire giant with his katana in a single strike. She seemed pretty hot-blooded as well, so taking her by surprise first was probably for the best. Still, if Luke uses a large amount of mana, he will have to use space magic to approach her without giving her the chance to react.

Luke felt that he needed another training session in his dimension. Still, after two of those, one after the other, he decided to forget about it. Once Luke returned to that world, he realized that not only the ice giant was invading the fire giant’s territory, but he also was increasing the size of his own with his magic and presence. The more magic he used, and the longer he stayed in her territory, the more things got frozen... It seemed that they were fighting over the control over that world, but Luke couldn’t guess why. There was no one there aside from them, no monsters either... So Luke wondered if they wanted some treasure like magic resources. Around seventy percent of the world had been completely taken by ice, so it seemed that it was only a matter of time before the ice giant won the war. Regardless, Luke began to wonder if the precious ice world that he had been in was thanks to that guy... Was that his hobby or something?

In any case, the ice giant was advancing that day instead of being defensive like the previous one. While emerging several massive ice spears from the ground, they force the fire giant to step backward with every single attack. Attacks that came from below were quite troublesome, and Luke knew that very well.

"This might be the chance to attack her..." Luke thought while furrowing his eyebrows.

In the end, Luke couldn’t help but feel a bit troubled for attacking someone from behind, even more so, it was a woman. It was the overlord that killed Rina’s parents, but it didn’t make things unbelievably easy. He probably would have tried a one-on-one fight if Luke had the chance, but there was no point in thinking about that. He had to do it.

In any case, Luke didn’t waste any time going to his dimension and preparing Stinger with a lot of mana. Once charged as much as possible, he would return to reality and then destroy that dimension before connecting the space in front of him with the back of the fire giant. That was the basic plan to deal with the fire giant woman. As for the ice giant, Luke didn’t know much about what he could do since he looked like the cautious type. As if he fails in killing her with the surprise attack... he has no idea what to do after either. It seemed reckless, but it wasn’t like Luke had all day to observe the fight and come up with ways to counter every single of their actions.

In any case, when Luke charged enough mana to even destroy an entire mountain from top to bottom, he immediately left his dimension. Just when he was about to destroy his dimension, he returned and then saw the two giants stopping their fight a few milliseconds after his return. They had good instincts and reflexes too... Still, Luke didn’t stop and destroyed his dimensions, and by using space magic, he teleported to behind the giant woman.

Luke used Stinger after buffing his body, but in the end, the fire giant still reacted on time. It was hard to say if it was obvious or if it was due to her insane reflexes, but she moved her right hand to protect her nape. The exact spot Luke was targeting. Luke couldn’t change his target, so he attacked. In the end, his sword pierced her hand and destroyed half of it with the impact, but then her fire armor increased in size and covered her whole body, and Luke was engulfed by the flames. Even though he was using the buffs with an increased output, even though he had increased his elemental resistances, Luke felt that he had fallen into hell. Such was the power of those flames.

Luke didn’t give up at first and used Stinger again, but then the giant woman used her hand to attack him. His attack destroyed the other part of the hand, but he was forced to move away. He couldn’t withstand those flames any longer...

"You damn coward... to think that you would call for help and attack me like this!" The fire giant shouted.

"No... I didn’t call for help," The ice giant said. "I don’t need help since you are getting cornered.

The surprise attack failed, but Luke couldn’t give up now, and he found another chance while the giants were leisurely talking. He moved to attack the right eye of the female giant, but then she punched the air in front of her and created a massive blast of fire. Luke used spatial magic to create a shield in front of him, a shield that absorbed the flames and sent them back toward the face of the fire giant. Even she felt troubled when the flames attacked her. Lule used that chance to move and attack her from behind again, but then some ice spears stopped him.

"I would be thankful if you weren’t to kill her. I will have that pleasure," The ice giant said.

That was something that Luke didn’t anticipate, but those guys had a lot of pride in the end. They wouldn’t help a stranger kill their enemy that they had been fighting for a while. Luke confirmed that when he sensed danger coming from behind and then, he moved away by using space magic. The fire giant used her explosive punch, but the blast of energy flew toward the ice giant, who blocked it with an ice wall.

"Can’t you even consider the angle of your attacks? How stupid can you be?" The ice giant asked.

"Shut up! I will kill this insect first, then you will be the next," The fire giant declared. "You smell like those elves. While you don’t look like them, you have come to try to avenge them, huh. Well, come and try!"

The fire giant began to punch the area again, and she was crazy enough to use both arms. The wondered one was taking its time to heal since the katana burned the wounds with frostbites, but that wouldn’t stop her. She was truly reckless...

"Ah, now that you mention, he has a particular smell on him... The elves and the dark elves," The ice giant said. "Do you have a grudge against me too?"

While he was dodging the attacks, Luke wondered what that guy was talking about. However, he then realized that those two had been fighting against each other for quite a while... And the fire giant probably tried to get some advantage by killing the elves of Rina world. Since that was the cause, the ice giant did the same... And attacked Shalia’s world. Coincidences are truly scary, but Luke welcomed that one. For his own goals and to avenge the family and friends of his partners, he was going to kill those two, and he decided to throw away his pride for those two. He owed them at least that much...

Luke disappeared completely from the planet, and that made those two giants frown. Still, he soon returned, and that made both of them raise their guards even more. Luke let the energy in his body explode, and then he was covered by a red aura. Although the mana was supposed to enhance his body and protect him, Luke also felt it making its bones and muscles crack. Still, he just clenched his teeth and then changed to the fire giant. The woman tried to punch him, but Luke ignored the flames and kept moving forward. Until he hit the hand that still was intact. The impact made the fire giant stagger and take a step backward. Due to the sudden increase in his power, she couldn’t help but open her eyes in shock.

The fire armor covered her whole body again, and the hellish flames engulfed Luke, but those didn’t stop him this time. Luke’s sword began to cut her hand, but then an ice meteor fell and then almost crushed Luke.

"Sorry, but this guy here is troublesome," The ice giant said. "I won’t wait and let him kill you to attack."

Luke landed on the ground and then saw a massive shockwave caused by the ice meteor. There was no dust around to be raised, so that didn’t help him at all. Still, he didn’t have to fly to attack those two. Attacking from below would be better. Once again, he charged at the fire giant a d aimed Stinger at her right knee. She tried to stop Luke with her Explosive punches, but it didn’t work. Unfortunately, some ice spikes emerged and stopped Luke’s advance. The fire giant wasn’t good at preemptive attacks, but the ice giant knew how to give some decent support.

Changing targets now seemed the best approach, but that would give the woman time to heal. In the end, Luke makes his choice... He kept charging again toward her, and when the ice spikes emerged, he destroyed them with his sword. That slowed him down a bit since those were as hard as they could be, but eventually, Luke reached the woman and was welcomed with a downward strike that landed with both arms. Luke only stepped back a little, and thanks to it, he was hit by the shockwave engulfed in flames. Still, he used that chance to run over the left arm of the woman and made his sword cut it in a straight line before he used Stinger at her eye...
