What does it mean to become one with nothingness?

Actually, there was a time when no creation, no beginning, nothing existed. Every rule, every law, every creation was born out of nothingness. Nothingness existed before the absolute beginning and it will exist after the extreme end.

When that person became one with nothingness, it can be said that now nothingness was his existence. He was above everything, every creation, every rule, every beginning, and every end.

He was nothing yet he was everything!

He is the beginning and end, he is the Yin and Yang, he is the creation and destruction, and he is the past, present, and future.

There is nothing hidden from his own eyes. He witnessed everything. He witnessed the first creation ever. He witnessed the last existence disappearing into nothingness.

Now, the past was him, and he is the future.

There was a time when everything truly began.

"So, this is how it looks when there was nothing!"

A voice that could not be heard disappeared into the extreme void of darkness. This voice belonged to the person who became one with nothingness, and this person’s name was Ling Xiaolong.

"Is this the true end of cultivation?"

For an instant, he trembled, as if the voice had briefly carved out a pocket of light and blinded him. The sound reverberated crisply through the vast, empty void.

Ling Xiaolong felt as if something within him started to move on its own.

It was the nine Absolute Rules. These rules are the Absolute Rules of Time and Space, Creation and Destruction, Light and Darkness, Life and Death, Yin and Yang, Devour and Slaughter, Order and Chaos, Progress and Regression, and Redemption and Damnation.

Although it might sound there are eighteen of them. In reality, there are only nine. These nine rules are like nine coins, each coin having two sides.

Ling Xiaolong was not the one to control these nine absolute rules this time, they were stirred on their own as the voice reverberated in the void of nothingness. Time was nothing for "Nothingness". He moved forward in time and witnessed the birth of his first life.

It was not the Tree of Origin. This tree appeared before the birth of the Vast Expanses of Eternity. It was this tree whose branches and roots were like heaven and earth, supporting the existence of several realities. They were past, present, and future. They were parallel realities, multiverse, and even Omniverse.
