Yandere Monster Evolution: My Blind Wife Will Become a Demonic Queen
Chapter 25: Not Abandonment.
—Viora’s POV—
Just a moment ago, when Woo Jin was hugging Viora and thought she was asleep. In fact, at that time she was just too tired to keep her eyes open so she decided to close them and let herself feel Woo Jin’s warmth.
She wasn’t actually asleep. She was just trying to. As she attempted to take a rest she felt Woo Jin move her back onto the bed.
’No,’
She internally refused to be moved away from him. But before she could speak, which actually takes too much strength for her to do, Woo Jin had already placed her head on the pillow and sat beside her.
Phew~
Once she sensed the dip on the mattress of the bed, she heard him take a long and weary sigh which made her a little worried.
’Why is he sighing? Is he having trouble with something?’
Even though she was feeling a little tingling sensation around her whole body, even when her skull was hurting, the thing she felt most uneasy about was the sigh.
"System, show me everything you have done to Viora."
Then she heard him saying something about a system and her name. She didn’t understand what that system thing was and how it was connected to her.
But, a few seconds after she heard that, she felt Woo Jin staring at her with intensity.
’Why do I feel like he is looking at me now?’
In her heart she was a little happy about his staring but at the same time she also felt uneasy about it. So, to reduce the awkwardness she was feeling she let out one word, "Mum..."
For some seconds there was only silence, but afterward Woo Jin began to laugh.
Viora thought he was laughing at her calling for her mom in sleep but she didn’t know that it was a skill’s description he was laughing at.
’Dum...’
She pouted and turned her face to the other side slightly.
However, it wasn’t soon before she felt something heart racing. Woo Jin had suddenly gotten closer to her and was doing something with her head.
This made her mind race with different kinds of thoughts and possibilities.
’What is he gonna do? Is he gonna wrap my hair in it and then kiss my forehead?’
She prepared herself for whatever he was going to do to her. And just when she did, the door of the room opened, which made Woo Jin freeze in his actions.
’Who is it?’
Suddenly, the hand on her head moved and Woo Jin went further away from her. After that she heard everything which happened between Woo Jin and his aunt.
She smiled inwardly when she heard him saying he kind of liked her. To her that was the most soothing thing which had happened to her all day.
’I feel at peace.’
While in her own whirlpool of imagination she had missed most of the conversation, except for the part where his aunt said they were leaving. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
’Is... Is... Woo Jin leaving?’
She wanted to open her eyes and tell him not to go, stop him and keep him close but she also didn’t want to force him if he didn’t want to stay.
No matter how hard it was she kept it cool and let him make the decision himself. Because that way it would be more meaningful if he stayed behind.
Yet after all that waiting and giving him a choice all she got was a pinch on her cheek and the sound of Woo Jin walking away.
’I guess this is it.’
Woo Jin had also left her like everyone else.
She tried not to feel abandoned. Instead, she told herself it was better this way. He was able to go instead of staying beside her which he may not have wanted.
"Wu... Jun..."
She opened her eyes and began to think about the moments she had spent with her one and only friend.
Even though she had not actually seen him, she had still touched his face and made up her own imagination. In which he was sitting beside her under a tree and both were looking at the dusk.
This simple thought made a smile appear on her face.
"Sun..." She whispered and a single tear trickled down her eye and fell on her pillow.
For a few moments she was just genuinely smiling until her thoughts began to change and her smile slowly faded.
The warmth that was covering her body also went away. She moved her hand up in the thought that she maybe able to touch him but she couldn’t feel anything other than the cold air.
’Why?’
Her hand closed into a fist and her expression had now turned more serious. She was in denial about something she didn’t want to believe.
’No, It can’t be.
’It shouldn’t be like this.’
’He said he won’t leave me.’
’He said he will take me with him.’
’Why! Why! Why!’
Suddenly, her eyes flashed purple light for a second and her skin began to turn a bit darker.
While breathing, her nose also picked up a strange scent. It was both unknown and familiar at the same time.
It was the smell of blood.
’Why the heck did he leave me.’
