... er lunged forward with his good arm, trying to grab hold of Dragan once again, but his speed wasn’t nearly as fast as it had been a few minutes ago. Dragan ducked under the limb, charged forward, and planted his Aether-infused fist right into Zakos’ stomach.

The blow only inspired the slightest grunt from Zakos, but at the very least it didn’t smash Dragan’s hand like it would have previously. He was actually fighting like a human now, rather than an insect trying to dodge a boot.
