Amelia Thornheart - Chapter Thirty-Nine: Shadow and Splinters

In the year 2090, technology has advanced to the point where Simulation Boxes, (Sim Box for short) are common place, allowing for the user to link up their brain's neural network to a full dive Simulation. While initially used for educational purposes, recently a large gaming company, Averon, released a fully fledged immersive MMORPG simulation where users can become anyone they desire, level up, choose their class, and become a hero or a villain. The name of this simulation is The Shattered World Online.

Eli Winters had no interest in playing it. His father, a jobless bum who spent his entire life playing games in the hope of becoming a famous player or streamer, was able to use the release of The Shattered World Online to gain wealth and fame, quickly becoming the number one player and a household name as the game took the world by storm. He immediately abandoned Eli and his mother in favor of being with someone from his guild, despite his mother having worked two jobs to support them and raise Eli by herself. Eli had nothing but spite for his father and the game.

When Eli's best friend convinces him to try out the game, his father's fame begins to interfere, culminating in him being singled out and shunned by his peers, and his father offering to pay for his university tuition in return for Eli hiding their relationship and quitting the game. Instead of complying with his father's wishes, Eli decides to prove to everyone how useless a guy his father is by challenging him that if Eli is able to surpass him in the game world he must delete his account and quit his streaming career. His father accepts the challenge believing his son to be useless at games - but Eli will soon show him just how ambitious a spiteful person can be.

“Do females fly??”“What?!!! I've never seen one.” Parrick said with a frown.“Then why....” he said nonchalantly pointing to the sky where a female was descending at a super sonic speed with a loud scream on the top of her lungs.Parrick gaped at the sky in disbelief. The female clearly had no wings...so how come she was up there! Also...there were no flying beastmen settlements from where the female came from!!!“Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!” the female screamed falling from such a high altitude and her scream died down the next minute.“My Lord ...we didn't save her!!!!!” Parrick gaped in utter shock and disbelief.“Her scream surely attracted a number of other males. They'll go rescue her...and you too can go if you badly want to.”“Huh!!!!!” Parrick was dumbfounded.“Look!” he said and indeed a group of flying beastmen and other land beastmen were sprinting to the direction the female had fall in.Sydney is swept away by a tornado and is thrown into a different space. She's confused as to why she came to this weird world but she accepts her fate. The people here are half human half beasts and despite being an independent woman back on earth, here she needs a male to survive but not just one.... multiple males.-One male is younger than her-The other is literally a walking legend-Another is venomous, even from mere skin contact.-The other is a hard specimen to understand-Her last male is a walking disaster!

What do you think would happen when a mean and cranky bitch was suddenly thrown into a new world with no fault of her own? At least that is what she chose to believe.

“Just be a good girl and follow everything he says. You will belong to him after all.” Said the woman who sat by her side, gently caressing her hands.

'What did this lady just say? Hmph… Yvonne St. Claire belongs to no one!'

Though her thoughts were rebellious, she still submissively nodded her head in agreement.

'Let's see who will belong to whom!' Yvonne lowered her head to hide the sparks of fury in her eyes.

Come, witness Yvonne’s journey as she strives hard to dodge the obstacles that stand in her way of leading a normal and peaceful life.

Second Senior Brother seems to be cultured and refined, but it can’t cover up his flirtiness and craftiness.

Third Senior Sister is seductive, enchanting to the extreme, yet is actually a crude tomboy who uses brute force.

Fourth Senior Brother is shockingly handsome to others, but in private, he is a proud, battle-crazy glutton with a poisonous tongue.

The Zhu Zhu who looks very homely and unrefined was forced to live life among this group of beautiful people; it could be said the pressure was huge.

Fortunately, not only did she have a divine pig for protection, she even knows a supreme skill —— how to disguise as a pig who can devour tigers!
