City of Sin - Book 1, Chapter 2

Three Days of Happiness is a novel by Sugaru Miaki, also known as Fafoo. It’s a rewritten version of the story originally posted to 2ch.

The premise of the story revolves around a shop where one can sell away the remaining years of their life, and the consequences of doing so.

“I Say A Little Prayer” is a short related story which was posted along with the novel’s release. It spoils some things about the main story, but nothing major.

The third young master of the Gu household, Gu Ye, had a wooden personality, a stuttering speech, couldn’t remember an answer after being told ten times, didn’t dare to protest after being bullied, was considered the shame of high society. His father, in a fit of anger, sent him back to the old home in the country for the new year. But unexpectedly, he came back like a new person, in half a year testing into the top university of the capital with the highest score in the whole school.

The world that nurtured the civilization which reached the pinnacle of magic was on the verge of destruction.
The last survivor transmigrated to the past, when the magic civilization started growing, as countless mages were still fumbling their ways through the thorny paths of magic knowledge.
He, who came from the end of the magic era, aim to reach the pinnacle of magic.
