Everlasting - Chapter 1385 Tree of Life

An AI calling itself Schema has assimilated earth into its system. As a consequence, everyone gained access to status screens, power-ups, and skills. This AI turned these concepts from fiction to fact. It's easy to become intoxicated with leveling up and becoming stronger. To some, it's too good to be true like living out a dream.

For Daniel, however, it's closer to a nightmare.

He's in a bit of a predicament. Cracks in our dimensional fabric have unleashed terrifying beasts from dark, abyssal places. Schema organizes these cracks into dungeons, giving the native species of the planet a chance to fight back. Daniel finds himself trapped in one of these dungeons. A data loving young man from Earth has an accident which transports him to a dark land filled with terrifying creatures and magical powers. Fortunately for him, he has a Biological Assistance Chip to ease his path. However, things in this bizarre and strange world are not always as they seem, and, though it is a tremendous asset, the chip doesn’t always work as expected. With all of the crazy creatures and magical mayhem around him, one can only wonder what the future holds for this young man…

Crossing to the Naruto World, Uchiha Tonan obtained the ‘Legacy Inheritance System’. As long as the people who acknowledged him died, he could inherit all abilities of the deceased.

Therefore…

“Konoha’s higher-ups mistreated the Uchihas. So, I’ve decided to lead the clan to launch a coup d’état after three years.”

“Ding! Gained Uchiha clan’s acknowledgment.”

Two years later.

“Tonan, this is the evidence of the Uchiha clan’s betrayal. When all is said and done, it’s your clan. So, I want to hear your opinion.”

“I’ll always stand on the village’s side.”

On that fateful night, Tonan stood on the Hokage Rock, coldly watching the Uchihas’ annihilation.

He spread his hands, being grateful to his clansmen’s gifts.

The next day.

“Lord Hokage, I shed blood for Konoha and became the village’s sword. And this was how you treated the meritorious clan.”

“Tonan, didn’t you agree to it!?”

“I don’t know what you are talking about. The fury of clan extermination is irreconcilable. Today, I will destroy the Sarutobi and Shimura clans to appease my clan members’ souls in heaven.”

After his fall, the Duke who was distant with his wife and daughter recalled his memories of another world. With a new perspective on life, he swore to cherish and protect those two.
