Well, that’s what he thought, at least, but the Regressor and his friends are kind of… weird, and he can’t seem to get away at all?

However, not everything is as it seems. Samur’s whims have made him the part of an eternal lie.

Shadows dance in glee as they concoct a requiem far grander than anyone can imagine, while the Lights tremble in delight as the apocalypse threatens the Universe.

The dies have been cast, the play has been written, the characters are on the stage, and the sacrifices have been made.

And so, it’s finally time to let this game begin.

This story is a rehash of the Pea Princess but set in ancient times. It tells the tale of an elegant maiden, and a doting, loyal puppy who also happens to be a rugged hunter! He was serious about pampering his wife! Yue Jiaojiao woke up in the body of a beautiful girl who was grievously injured from leaping off a cliff. If she hadn’t been rescued by a hunter who was passing by, perhaps she would have died. Looking at the soft, delicate “little fairy” in front of him, the rugged hunter decided he would play the role of a loyal puppy to the max!

The delicate Jiaojiao was a clean freak, so there would always be hot towels ready all day long. Jiaojiao was being disturbed by her uncle and aunt? Hurry up and sever all ties with them! Jiaojiao’s feet hurt from walking? My arms are capable of lifting her! Jiaojiao said she wanted to marry me? Zhao Zhan was stunned. Was this real? Was this not a dream?

Generally, Yue Jiaojiao would never have offered herself in return for being rescued. This novel incorporates dungeon building and management but most of that won’t fully take off until the later volumes when Frost has much more floors and money to play around with. This is not a solely dungeon story as the MC Frost will have to explore and interact with the world of Nova much like how an adventurer would and forewarning the story is slow. There’s a lot of details and avenues which the story goes into, not simply battles, wars and action, it follows all aspects of Frost’s life, his growth and interactions with Nova not only as a Dungeon core but also as a person.

Monsters lurk in the night, but what if something else hunted them? An incident in his childhood left Velik an outcast with a racial subtype that thrives at night and unique class called [The Black Fang], which focuses on just one thing: killing monsters. He’s good at finding them, and he’s good at slaying them. For ten years, he’s been gaining levels and sharpening his skills on the thousands of monsters infesting the wild lands of the frontier. For ten years, he’s kept a lonely stretch of towns safe. Despite his efforts, this year has seen an explosion in the monster population, so much that he’s no longer capable of protecting everyone by himself. This draws the interest of another monster hunter, one that’s professionally licensed, but he seems more interested in investigating Velik than anything else. At least with him there, Velik is free to finally explore the mysteries of the deep wood, where he believes the source of all monsters resides.
