“I am,” Etan said, and his hair raked back as he pushed his mask off his handsome face. So handsome her heart raced.

His hair was ebony black, his skin a warm brown that threatened to fade in in the winter months. He stared at her with glittering green eyes, over high cheekbones and a noble nose, his jaw tight and shadowed this late in the day. His chin was high over the pillar of his neck that she’d just touched with its hard lines and steel strength, so different to her own. And his chest... She gasped and covered her eyes. She’d humiliated herself revealing her stupid, childish curiosity.

“No, Ayleth. This changes nothing.”

“How can you say that? It changes everything!” She was horrified to realize she was crying.

“Ayleth, please.” His voice cracked on the plea and she stared at him, shoving her mask up and off, despite how it would pull her hair out of the beautiful twist the maid had managed for her.

His eyes locked on hers and she couldn’t think. She couldn’t breathe.

She stared at him as he stepped forward again, offering both hands, palm up. “Touch me,” he whispered. “Hold my hands. This is real, Ayleth. I don’t know how it happened, but this is real. Please don’t deny it.”

Taking a quick peek into life on normal planet earth, a vicious alien race called the Xollante attacked the planet with their nuclear weapon. The wild Xollante race occupied the North, while the surviving earthlings occupied the South.But now Earth must do everything to destroy the Xollante race and send them away from the planet. And that was when another scheme was set.Earth had discovered a Lone and barren mutant planet called Luxus which gifted earthlings with superpowers. Humans call these superpowers “Quirks”. So, for the grand scheme, Earth's authorities started sending men and women on the planet to become mutated in readiness for the huge war that was looming against the Xollante. Earth was now full of mutants, and soon enough, non-mutants became outcasts in the society. The system only favoured the powerful and scorned the weak. And that was when Leo woke from his coma of 78 years on planet Luxus.And this, guys, is where the story starts...Leo managed to survive the nuclear attack with some strange hidden quirk he didn't know he possessed. When he opened his eyes 78 years later, he was on planet Luxus, being taken care of by his mind communication partner, Loca. But there was no time to frolic. He has to get back to Earth and try to rediscover that powerful quirk that saved him from the nuclear attack. To do this, he must attend Earth's quirk academy to learn all he needs to get stronger.
