Mages, wolf shifters and the humans who hunt them play a risky game where to stumble is to die, all under the amused gaze of the apex predators of the supernatural world: vampires.

It is never healthy to attract the gaze of the aristocracy of the night. It takes much to survive in this merciless world, but Ariane will not let that deter her. The southern belle has a bite, and she is willing to learn and to grow in this hostile new world. She will use whatever means necessary to reclaim her freedom, be it guile, charm, or those intriguing new instincts that make blood so delectable.

There are 7 dimensions controlled by a Universal Government. Each dimension is governed by its own unique universal laws. There are a few things they have in common, there is always 1 the strongest and 1 the smartest. Except for the Universal Government, it’s forbidden to travel between dimensions. Interdimensional gates don’t close on their own and if left open, creatures that dwell in the darkness between the worlds will find their way through. Without warning, one of the dimensions disappeared without a trace. The remaining 6 in panic did all they could to find the reason why. They never found an answer. 12 years after the dimension vanished, a signal started appearing in the empty universe. Perhaps the answer is in that signal.Tsugi No Level

A third-tier star, Lu Weiyu, an ordinary beta, urgently needs a backer.
After finally getting into the marshal’s banquet, just about to strike up a conversation——
Marshal raised his phoenix eyes and said, “Get lost.”
Lu Weiyu rolled away non-stop, and was pulled back by the marshal before he rolled away.
With a low voice and domineering eyes, the Marshal put him in his arms: “Did I tell you to get out? Get back.”
Lu Weiyu nodded tremblingly.
The marshal surrounded her, humming: “If you touch someone, you will be responsible to him.”
Lu Weiyu was dumbfounded, and said nonsense: “Okay, take responsibility.”
The marshal pinched the man’s chin and snorted coldly: “What are you responsible for? Women, don’t play with fire.”

It was only later that Lu Weiyu found out that the marshal had fallen ill again.
Marshal: “I hit you with my life.”
