When one very anticipated VRMMORPG was about to be launched, and Jake was one of the first players to have a chance to access it, he had a weird dream of himself fighting massive beasts and then seeing a world being destroyed.

Without knowing any better, Jake assumes that it was just a weird dream, but then he begins to have those weird dreams again and again until they become even more vivid, and much to his surprise, whenever the dream changes, he obtains a new power inside the game.

It doesn't take long for Jake to realize that he isn't the only one who has those dreams, and soon enough, Jake realizes that the game and reality are a lot more connected than he thought.

He was a school bully and she was a straight A student. One day, she received a message that he wanted to meet her after school. She was very scared of being bullied, so she sought help from her teacher, who was also his father. Therefore, his father came to meet him after school with a broom on hands and beat him up.“You little brat! How dare you bully the top student in our class! Just wait and see how I'll punish you!” said his father angrily.“No! Dad! This is a mistake! I just wanted to pursue her!”“You're clearly not good enough for her! Stay far away from her!”...Years later, in her wedding dress, she said to her best friend, “My husband used to be a school bully. He said that he was beaten up by his father on the first day he was planning to pursue me. Then, he was warned not to get in the way of my pursuit of Tsinghua University.”“Too bad! And what happened next?”“He also got into Tsinghua University.” She smiled.

A conversation with a handsome stranger leaves Ariane chained in a cellar with a strange affliction. She soon discovers that the darkness of the nineteenth century’s Deep South hides many dangers. Mages, wolf shifters and the humans who hunt them play a risky game where to stumble is to die, all under the amused gaze of the apex predators of the supernatural world: vampires.

It is never healthy to attract the gaze of the aristocracy of the night. It takes much to survive in this merciless world, but Ariane will not let that deter her. The southern belle has a bite, and she is willing to learn and to grow in this hostile new world. She will use whatever means necessary to reclaim her freedom, be it guile, charm, or those intriguing new instincts that make blood so delectable.
