G City has recently become a popular bay tourism destination in the country, and it’s a hotspot for young people to check out.

But since we’re heading to the island to film the next episode, everything in the nearby malls and supermarkets is quite pricey. To save on costs, everyone decided to buy some essentials in advance before going to G City. After all, the cost of living in L City is definitely lower than in G City. People here are quite simple, and prices are reasonable, which suits everyone’s tight budget situation.

The first thing we absolutely need to buy is clothes for wearing on the island. Although the director has arranged different color couple outfits for each guest group—mostly the same style but different colors to distinguish each family on camera—everyone still wants to wear something more comfortable during their downtime.

Island attire generally comes in just a few styles. When all the guest groups agreed to go to the supermarket, Shi Su was the first to pick a blue style with a small coconut tree pattern and gestured it toward Jing Jihan.

It seems like Jing Jihan has never worn such flashy clothes before. The couple outfit arranged by the crew for them is also a dark blue T-shirt and sports pants, with just a small sponsor logo on it.

This island attire is not bad either. The pattern isn’t as big or as much as the others, just a small one, so I think Jing Jihan shouldn’t have too much of a problem with it.

Jing Jihan had no intention to intervene as well, letting her choose as she liked. Shi Su specifically picked out a set of couple outfits for the two of them, paired with a matching blue island lace skirt for herself, and bought two big sun hats.

Amazingly, these two outfits and two hats only cost less than fifty bucks altogether, so she went ahead and picked two pairs of flip-flops, feeling that they could be handy for the few episodes being filmed, easily packed in their luggage.

After all, the ones they brought from home weren’t allowed by the director. They wanted everyone to revert to a more natural state. Apart from buying things with the funds earned on the program, the only other exception was occasionally being allowed to look at their phones, everything else was off-limits.

Just as Jing Jihan reached the shelf with the flip-flops, Shi Su pushed the shopping cart and jogged over to him: "I bought the clothes and hats, the colors are a bit more colorful than you usually wear, is that okay?"

As she spoke, she waved the things that cost less than fifty bucks in total in front of him like treasures.

"The colors of the shoes are fine, black and white are easy to match, and blue is a similar shade, as long as they’re comfortable to wear." Shi Su reached out and picked two styles to feel their sole’s softness.

Hao Jin also came over to have a look, but considering their current tight budget, flip-flops weren’t an option, so he just stood by watching and laughingly asked, "Mr. Jing, did you ever dream you’d spend so long in front of flip-flops going for nine ninety-nine a pair?"
